Please do more WIP and chats. I really enjoyed listening to your stories. My grandmother was my life line too. I lived with her from 1st to 4th grade. Don't know who I would be without her. Love to you and your family.
@sherrysterner5276 thank God for our grandmother's. Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. I will do more. Blessings to you and yours. Hugs 🫂 🤗 🥰😘
My grandmother use to crochet doilies all the time, use to have a couple pieces of hers. My mother was a knitter, crocheter, she use to make us Barbie doll clothes. My daughter is an avid knitter, me well. I find knitting, crocheting boring, but love the outcomes of that hobby. I am always amazed at artists who paint, the level of their imagination is amazing. Thanks for sharing your history.
@diamondsandthings hi 👋 ☺️. That's so great that your daughter knits. I'm always do happy to hear when people continue to learn the fiber arts. My mom didn't like crocheting either lol. It skipped a generation 🤣. I've made dolls too. I'll have to make a video at some point of my special pieces. Take care 🙂 💕
Thanks for talking me through my section😊 my mother was a crocheter also, she made my sister, my sister-in-law, my aunt and myself all a 60”round tablecloth. They were all white thread, I actually have her pattern with all her notes on it. It’s called the peacock tail. I’m in my 60’s now and preserved it and my oldest daughter has it now. I crochet also, but not like that. It is a labor of love. Would love to see one of your christening gowns. Have a wonderful holiday weekend.😊
Hi Terri 😊 That pattern sounds amazing! I'm so glad you're able to pass that down. That level of work isn't done a lot now. I hope my granddaughter will want to learn. Thank you and take care 🥰
You just confirmed (again) why I’m not on FB. People are very brave behind a keyboard aren’t they? 😡 Liz never feel ‘obligada’ to respond to my comments, just know I watch every single video and agree with most of your opinions. Hugs!
@DiamondsandDobermans I took a break for 2 years and it was great lol. I keep my friends list very small now. Less stress that way. To be honest it's the family that's the bigger issue lol 😆 🙃. Thank you and hugs 🫂 🤗 ❤️
@@LizcraftsDiamondPainting lol I loved hearing about your grandma and the bond of crochet between you. I can only imagine how stunning your christening gowns are, 🥰
