I remember upgrading the sensors just so I can see the enemy crew running from one end of their ship to another, screaming and trying to put out the fires, all the while oxygen levels were rapidly depleting, and I was sitting behind my impenetrable shield screen, just sipping tea and smiling, waiting for the message "No enemy lifesigns". Great game.

I got idiot checked when I tried to convince the guild I was allowed in their facilities with a blue option for mind controlling. The SLUG guild. Needless to say I got a 5 hullsworth slap in the face for that :)
I have yet to beat this game and I've had it for years. The final boss makes me want to squeeze an entire nuclear reactor out of my asshole out of sheer rage. EVERYTIME I ARRIVE I HAVE NO MISSILES OR HP AND THIS STILL ANGERS ME DESPITE NOT PLAYING IT FOR YEARS I hate you because now I have to replay it.

Get shields to 3 by the 6th system bare minimum and get evasion to at least 40% if you aren't stealthing, outside all that it's basically luck. I was in the same position as you, I suggest sticking with Kestral A until you get a W.

Imma be honest, the one thing I dislike about FTL is that there are rarely any consequences for being straight-up Evil. If there were a Karma system or something that affects events and whatnot based on your behaviour throughout the game then you could get more mileage out of making different decisions in certain sectors.
I also have both FTL and Into the Breach and let me tell you... I'll get there. Probably. Maybe. Look on paper it's the perfect squel I just- It's just- Yeah...
I think in multiverse you're just a hired merc, a "renegade" so technically what you're doing isn't endorsed by the federation. Which is honestly a great excuse for why there are way more heinous options that aren't in the base game. I think one of my favorite moments in the game was when I did the Ellie quest which gave me such a bad reputation that the federation refused to associate with me by the time I reached Node-17, I lost it when that happened.
If you like challenging roguelikes Noita is hard to the point of being unfair. There's only two types of Noita players, the casual that gets thrashed by a random Stendari in the first level and the gigachad that makes blood sacrifices to RNGesus for a lucky find earlygame and dupes his max health to the hundreds of thousands, build wands that can oneshot literally any boss and nonboss enemy without danger of harming you and after those 10+ hours still die because you didn't see three fucking pink pixels.

I edited his bastard bonds video, and I wrote the script and edited (basically all the work except voice acting) his upcoming deep rock video. Multiverse is coop and all, but it suddenly stopped working (loading screen stuck not working) and so I had to delete it. Now I play FTL vanilla and it's just as good. Might download multivesre again but I'm content with vanilla right now
