Angus Young doing the striptease has been a staple of AC/DC shows since the beginning- But in the old days he used to shoot the moon for real...
Lol and I've heard their have been times where at the end of the show he showed his you know what.
The jack is the gift that keeps on giving.
For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)
Definitely!!! That's my favorite song by AC/DC.
Best closing to a concert and I’ve been to a lot of them in the 80’s.
Gotta be live !!!
I played that for my grandma in 81 82....she called it devil music. She didn't even get to listen to my judas priest collection.
Seen this one live. It was AMAZING!!!!! I was by stage and couldn't hear anything after the concert. Would love to relive that concert again. A must check out
“Whole lotta Rosie” also live from River Plate, please- and Angus stripping down- it gets HOT under all that lighting- At about this point in the show (this song) I believe that Angus does this to cool off -and he just found a way to do so, without leaving stage- Cleverly making it part of the show- now it’s iconic! 💙👍
He already did that
Also worth noting: On (at least) one tour he had underpants for each country they play in. With the country flag on it.
In the UK it is very fitting that the flag is also referred to as the union jack...too bad he didn't have it on this tour.
You really need to react to AC/DC Shoot To Thrill
he already did
He did but the video was taken down.
Angus and his striptease is a classic many of us have witnessed in concert. When you see him without his shirt in later songs you know he already did his thing.
The thing about them, they’re basically a souped up blues band. But, since you dug this, and wanna check out some other songs along the same lines, you should do Rock And Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution or Ride On(or both).
Night Prowler.
@@Rebelrocker69 Yup. There’s that one too.
AC/DC have some great types of songs
Here are song different styles
Hard Rock - Back in Black
Blues Rock - The Jack
Heavy Rock - The Razors Edge
Pop Rock - Baby, Please Don’t Go
Rock ‘N’ Roll - Shoot to Thrill
Aussie Pub Rock - Dirty Deeds
Also thanks for recognising the Bassist and Drummer
Baby, Please Don’t Go is blues. Lightnin' Hopkins cover.
For some context. There are two sets of lyrics for The Jack. There are the real lyrics, the ones they use in live concert, and the album version. The original lyrics are basically about these chicks that gave the band gonorrhea. To tease the girls they wrote this song and when they first preformed it they pointed at all the girls that gave them “the jack” (an Australian nickname for gonorrhea) when they got to the chorus. They were forced to change the lyrics for the album version because the producers were not cool with how dirty the lyrics were. So Bon Scott, their lead singer at the time, changed them it be more metaphorical.
I’m not even sure but I might like the album lyrics better. So much clever innuendo.
@@dillymcdamm I definitely like the album lyrics better as well. I love that clever innuendo, it's a summary of Bon's writing genius
@@dillymcdamm Yeah. I’m also personally more familiar with them too
Thanks for the output mate👍😂
You are wrong!.
Angus taught himself how to play the guitar.
This is why he is so good.....
Nobody told him what he was doing was impossible.
Actually there brother George Young gave him and Malcolm lessons.
@@Josh-ce6jz
I thought on a documentary, one of the backstage guys said he taught himself.
Guess I got it a bit mangled.
Thanks for the correction
@@richieb7692 No problem, regardless Angus's style really is his own thing and no one comes even close. Sure people like Brian May and Jimmy page create "Beautiful" and "Masterful" guitar solos. But if i want a rockstar guitarist for a band, Angus is the man for the job. Better stage presence and electricity then any other guitarist imo.
Not "formal" lessons. Like most of us amateurs he jammed with mates until he got good. Instead of partying he stayed in his room and practiced for days on end. He explains in a doco how he had to make compromises because he was so small and wished he had long fingers like Clapton. That's also why he plays with a cut-out Gibson SG. Less weight.
*I Love your energy*
Ha, of course.
1 person that you have Never played was My 1st guitar hero of the mid 1970s. His name was TOMMY BOLIN. He, sadly, passed away in December of 1976 of a drug overdose.
THIS DEFINITELY IS ONE TO WIKIPEDIA 1ST. To See HOW MANY ALBUMS THAT HE PLAYED ON IN LESS THAN ONE DECADE!
He, sadly, passed away in December of 1976 of a drug overdose. I was 17 and his death Crushed My World for quite a While. I would LOVE to see/watch your reaction to "Dreamer" Studio version off of the Album "Teaser". Also, MY Favorite Tommy Bolin song is "Wild Dogs" also off of his 1st solo album, "Teaser". Also, a Great jamm song off of his 2nd solo Album, ''Private Eyes'', is the track titled "Post Toastee". Everyone gets to Show Off a Bit On "Post Toastee". IF you love songs with Great Dynamics from slow, sparse, beautiful and melodic to- Boom, rocking out in a flash, and then BOOM- right back to soft and mellow, then "Dreamer" is for you. I would recommend the regular studio audio of all. Thank you. I Love watching your Reactions!
When you read it, just Look at ALL he did in a Very Short Time. More than a Lot of Artists/Bands do in their entire Career...
Does That Make You Even a Little Intrigued??
AC/DC is on the Mount Rushmore of rock bands. I personally think they are the greatest brand ever.
I am thrilled to see you're reaction to the music I grew up with. You are a breath of fresh air with your love to find, learn, and understand new (OLD) music.
These guys are amazing live in concert, such high energy took you two days to recover, lol...Major jazzy blues to a lot of their music...Angus is a Brilliant guitarist...Oh yes, panties, bras, t-shirts, Their concerts were intense, lol...Awesome, Thanks for reaction, Peace
The great Angus Young love him have been a fan forever. love AC/DC. Angus is one of the greatest guitarists bar none. Yes way they are the greatest rock band.
A lot of their songs they wrote in the 70's had a blues feel to them! They got harder rock after Bon Scott died and Brian Johnson joined. AC/DC is the #1 rock band of all time!!!
JoJo: What's he about to do?
Us: He's about to give you The Jack
Nope.
Only women collect shoes.
It really isn't a stretch to point out the very strong influence that the blues had on rock music. ALSO, I point out again that the similarities in some rap and rock songs are not accidental, they both have the same roots.
As Aussie ( living in the US ) it’s exactly what you think.. the jack is slang for.. well the gift thst keeps giving
This was my music when I was your age, and watching you makes me enjoy and appreciate all over again. Your reaction to new music, (new to you) is so real and pure. It always makes me hear my old favorites on an entirely new level. Thank you for that. I’m glad i found you, you have a gift. And I wonder if you even know what that gift is 😊
more acdc please
This is my all time favorite by them. My second is Thunderstruck. I love ACDC and they are amazing in concert.
yes thats right
Oh my goodness.. you just started my day full throttle ! Watching this just gave me the boost I needed ! Hail AC/DC !! WE SALUTE YOU !
You should check out "Let there be rock" from this same concert.. also the Original version with Bon Scott singing is an incredible version to react too.. Angus is the "Energizer Guitar Monster" at this concert he had been rocking hard for over 40 years
I heard a a live version of this where the lyrics were ‘she gots the clap’
8:47 I love how you actually looked genuinely a bit worried
(The strip tease has their rowdy Aussie pub heritage all over it, and it’s gotta be said… Angus is clearly such a born performer. To get tens of thousands of people cheering for a 54 year old man to strip, takes some serious charisma and showmanship)
I’m happy your back to rock n roll music
That "Grown man cry" thing was a reference to the "Rolling Stones"...they have a song that says "You made a grown man cry". LOL
There are 2 versions of this song. One clean and one …not so clean. As for the greatest band of all time? Well…my profile pic is my first tattoo. Angus himself drew this caracature.
You know we love the not so clean bewhahahha
What's up a bewhahaha ?

it's not a caricature, it's the demon that angus drew on the napkins of the restaurants he didn't like hahaha source: DVD Let there be rock by Warner
Dude, your comments and expressions make the whole reaction. Lol!😂 Keep it up bro!
Let there be rock live Donington or river plate imagine every country where they perform it s the same full football stadions even they must do 3 days raw... Spain France Italie Germany Portugal England nederland Japan Mexico Brazil etc etc
YOu need to visit some of the old ACDC albums like High VOltage or Powerage and you will see how they are a great rock and blues vibe with Bon Scott singing.
100% agree...while I like Brian Johnson, nothing compares to Bon Scott!
Oh I've been waiting for this one 🤣
Bro you are genuine keep up the good videos, God bless...
Yes he IS referring to that which you alluded to at the start. The background to this song is clear - this song is inspired by what happened to the AC DC member as detailed below:
"She's got the Jack (aka She's got the Clap) are songs about Bon Scott catching Gonorreah from a woman who lied about being a virgin. Both "the Clap" and "The Jack" are Australian slang terms for STD's... The term "The Clap" specifically refers to Gonorrhea. Almost all ACDC songs have variations to them, even when done by ACDC!; but this song is one that probably has the most variations. "The Jack" was originally known as "The Clap." This was released in Australia in 1975 on their second album, T.N.T. Their first 2 Australian releases were combined to form High Voltage in 1976, which was their first album released worldwide. On the live version of this song, Bon Scott sometimes would share with the crowd a more direct set of lyrics than the one on the recording. This can be heard on AC/DC's 1978 live album If You Want Blood, You've Got It. AC/DC played this before a crowd of 500,000 at show in Toronto in 2003. The concert, which also featured The Rolling Stones, Rush, and others, was a benefit for the city, which suffered a drop in tourism due to the spread of a rare disease called SARS (Sudden Acute Respiratory Syndrome). AC/DC had no problem singing about one disease at a benefit for another, and the fans didn't mind either."
You have seen videos post strip. The live version of songs you reacted to where he has no shirt is after this song. Its become a tradition in their shows now.
Love the new intro!
Love ya Bro!
The greatest band ever!!!!! They are a rock blue's band ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
My friend u have a long way to go in ur music journey, fear not u are much further then most at ur age. Rock On!
Lol, love the commentary! This is a dope ass song! Thanks for opening up my ears! I love it!!! Great job, nephew!
yes
Blues is the foundation of ALL modern music. You play the blues, then you are playing Rock.
😂😂id love to see your dad check this out that would be hilarious😂😂👍👍 show him bro he's gonna flip out lol
Some Suggestions: For Those About To Rock (We Salute You), Bad Boy Boogie (studio version). I would ask you to react to the whole "Let There Be Rock" Album cuz its there must hardest rocking album but other songs of theirs include "Shoot To Thrill", "Sink The Pink", and "Demon Fire".
My favorite songs from them are TNT, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,, Thunderstruck, For Those about to Rock, Hells Bells and Back and Black.
I love how shocked he gets when Angus starts to strip 😅
That's right and Bon Scott sang both versions.
Very very definitely try out the songs with Bon Scott, ALL OF THEM!! But most in particular a song called, Ride On. It is actually a beautiful song.
Now I'm head banging along with the intro 🤘🔥😂
Angus young is the greatest guitarist ever born and I'll fight anyone who disagrees.
In1979 when I saw them in concert, Angus gave us a for-real, legit ass-flash.
I saw them in australia in 2010 on the back end of the same tour this was filmed on and he did a quick ass flash. Did the boxers gag, and then ran off to get his guitar and slipped a cheeky flash in there as he ran. I think he might have just maybe had to not do it for the show they were recording?
All rock n' Roll is based in the Blues. If you really want to hear the soul of AC/DC laid bare then you have to listen to "Ride On".
It's an early track on their "Dirty Deeds" album.
It's still my favourite AC/DC song!
Angus Young and Malcolm Young originally learned guitar from listening to blues artists.
Remember young one ACDC are showmen first and foremost!!!!!! Have always been for 50+ years now!!!!! They are not a one trick pony band as the saying goes. Just saying!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!! 😍😍😍🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍😎🍸
I think that AC/DC did the whole soundtrack for Maximum Overdrive. Stephen King movie (book is called Trucks I think).
Send me an angle - scorpions , I'll never let you go - steelheart
The studio version of this song actually tells a comparison story.
The song is made to make the listener think of a Poker card game, but , it's waaaayyy more to it than that !!!!
** If you like this song b/c of it's story / poetic style , then you can check out " '74 Jailbreak ", and " Ride On "
Ooooo she THAT kinda dirty my friend!! She's got the Jack!!
Great song, I love how you feel the contest. Next Whole Lotta Rosie from river Plate
I love AC/DC
you should check Demon Fire
We have talked this young man into listening ACDC and corrupted him. The Jack live is not for the faint of heart.
I really hope that you could take the time to watch ACDC performing "Jailbreak" at donington if you liked this performance
17 minute version? Hell yeah :P
Jack = Clap
The story I heard was that one of them liked this girl but he knew she was just told she had and STD but he was so into her, he was in this quandary on whether to just do her and worry about of the consequences later (take the burn and the shot). He didn't know if it would be worth it or not. Guys were off of her and this was his chance. May or may not be true.
The guitarist with the short pants was why Beavis and Butthead had short pants, if you ever watched them. That guy moved around so much, he was always covered in sweat.
The mid song act was similar to what singers like James Brown would do. He'd act like he was going to pass out from the power of the song and the heat. These guys would come out and catch him and try to cool him down, but he'd shoo them off because he had to continue and feel that funk.
A lot of older rockers will say that their greatest heroes and their inspiration for their music were older black singers that didn't get paid a lot, didn't get the record deals, didn't have mansions. They just had their live, real concerts that they poured everything into. Before that singers and bands wore suits, not sweaty clothes and hair which lend to the feeling of the song. You see the feeling and believe it. So, when you hear this, know that the traditional, blues, funk, and soul is intentionally there from older black music. You gotta feel pain to make music like this. A happy guy doesn't write the blues. Some bands tank after they get better lives when they become famous.
DO THIS ONE! ALL BLACK ROCK BAND! IN LIVING COLOR “CULT OF PERSONALITY” 👍👍👍👍
Or sevendust “denial”.. singer is black
"Don't wanna get a neck aneurysm!" Lol!
LFR JOJO!!! you've heard three out of four of the Big Four: Metallica, Megadeth, & Slayer! Now try the fourth - Anthrax! I'd start with Time off of The Persistence of Time album. It has a syncopated rhythm with a very crunchy riff. After that, I would try Bring the Noise; a song that was recorded with Public Enemy!
Anthrax is great with Belladonna but they shined with Bush, I know every lyric on Sound of White Noise in my sleep, he has to do ONLY!! :)
The Big Four are
#ZZTop
#LynrydSkynryd
#ACDC
#BruceSpringsteen
Le plus grand groupe de ROCK ⚡ Brian à fêter c'est 75 ans la semaine dernière 💪💥🤘
You must understand the Jack is australian slang for VD. Their groupies got it and in first few shows Bon Scott would point at each girl " She's got the Jack" Wanted everyone to know lol
The greatest PURE rock and roll band of all time is AC/DC. Period. Straight up. There were bands that were better at this, better at that, etc, etc, but straight up and down AC/DC IS ROCK AND ROLL. They didn't mess around and try and do ballads. They didn't mess around and put out a disco song (I'm looking at you Rolling Stones and The Who), they didn't try to do triply psychedelic acid trips (looking at you Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin). AC/DC did one thing, and did it perfectly. Rock and Roll. And they've been doing it for 50 years.
They ARE the G.O.A.T.
"No Rain" by Blind Melon... I think you will love it and I'll just keep asking. Lol Definitely with the video. :)
Just an FYI. Shannon Hoon of blind melon is on the roof singing in the Estranged video by guns and roses. Axel Rose was a fan of Shannon Hoon.
@@autumnwhitaker5872 I have not heard that one yet, will definitely have to check it out, I know he sings with them on "Don't Cry" which is one of my favorite Guns and Roses songs.. their voices blended together in such a cool way..
@JD Hogg Yes.... :( RIP Shannon..
Malcolm (rhythm guitar) and Angus ("schoolboy" lol) both influenced by blues and rock'n'roll, and learned to play guitar by copying their blues and r n r heroes. Malcolm leads the rhythm section and is the backbone of the band, Cliff (bass) and Phil (drums) are excellent players - greatest band of all time LEGENDS
This song is about a venereal disease - "The Jack" is Australian slang for Gonorrhea, which is also known as "The Clap."
If you like The Jack, then look for Crabsody in Blue. Bon Scott was a master poet.

This song was from the Bon Scott arrow. That lead singers Brian Johnson who replaced Bon Scott
This song was written before this singer Brian Johnson time when the lead was Bon Scott it is also known as the clap
Thought you'd like to know this since you have mentioned in several of your ac/dc videos wondering how many people are at their concert...At a concert in Moscow Russia they played before a crowd of 1.6 million, yes, you read that right one point six MILLION...
She's got the Clap .... Jack yeah that's it ! 🤣😂🤣

This isn't 'like the blues' .. this is the blues.
🔥🔥🔥🔥❤
Rock was born from the blues. Try some really old rock from the 50's and 60's and you will hear it.
Now do let there be rock. It's worth it
Hey, Dude! Just found your channel and appreciate what you're doing! 👍
Would recommend a different set of Cans for rock/metal music. Open-backs are ace for such and live music especially! ✌️😁
Jo Jo check out It's a long way to the top...ACDC with Bon Scott! Playing live on a flatbed trailer going down the road!!!
They really did'nt study the blues ,its just that in Australia we in the 60s saw and listened to a lot of blues bands particularly from America .Angus admits his hop is from chuck berry .
Bad Boy Boogie Live Munich🤘🤘🤘
there were 200,000 --- TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND --- crazy-assed mo-fos partyin' at this show!!!!
Hells bells, river plate, HEAR IT!
If you're going to do The Jack it should be a Bon Scott version, live or studio. Same goes for any AC/DC songs from his era.
i know i really get pissed off when that happens. if you hear Bon sing Bon songs, they will catch the flirtiness and emotion Bon has through his songs. although this was a great concert, Brian doing this song sounds gassed out. That's why i requested Bad Boy Boogie but the studio version.
@@Josh-ce6jz Excellent request. All 7 songs from 1978's Rock Goes To College at the University of Essex with Bon should be required listening for anyone getting into the band too. Live Wire, Problem Child, Sin City, Bad Boy Boogie, Whole Lotta Rosie, Rocker & Let There Be Rock. This show really puts you in the Bon Scott era, classic performance.
i agree somewhat. i think its worth listening to What's Next to The Moon live in 2003 from the Circus Krone with Brian on vocals, it sounded amazing
@@Jeb4100 But when given a choice between an original or a retcon version always go with the original first. Just don't do any AC/DC with Axl Rose on vocals.
@@ll7868 definitely not Axl lol
PS you’re right the Jack is a slang word for gonorrhoea in Australia 😂🤦🏼♀️😬
I think you should do "Its a long way to the top (if you wanna rock n roll)" next, this song have something different than others 😉
Angus did the *strip show* back in 1992 when they did a concert in Denmark, but he didn’t have the AC/DC logo on his boxers, he hade the Danish flag 🇩🇰
Must have been the Razor's Edge tour.
Was there in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein.
Cannot remember him stripping there his underpanties.
On the way to Kiel, the train driver
halted in Malente to call Police
for we were too noisy.
After probably 20 minutes we could move on.
@@ReimerGodt where a monster of rock tour on Gentofte stadium,, Black Crows,, Queens Ride and Metallica, where warm up for AC/DC AS main name on that tour, two first bands people sad in the lawn relaxing, Metallica got the the crowd headed up and AC/DC keeps it rocking 🤟🏻
@Stagger :BigGunHuggings:

:ShakeYourFoundationHands:
AC/DC puts on a show when you see them in concert. I remember For Those About To Rock tour when that album came out. Salt Palace was filled and they had 23 cannons in there and it was loud. It was before the Salt Palace rebuilt and made it into a convention center instead of a concert hall. The LDS church was throwing to much of a fit over rock bands they despised playing there which was right near the temple.
You should react to AC/DC - Are your ready! Great song!
@Jojo, alot of the earlier big bands had influence from blues. It's quite common,.
He used to drop his shorts and show his cheeks but someone told him he could go to jail. So he stopped, now he shows all kinds of crazy shorts 🩳
we threw bars and panties on stage at AC/DC concerts and KISS concerts
Ur gonna love Through the Fire and Flames by DragonForce
I agree
