I've never really heard or known much about Colleen Hoover other than seeing her stuff everywhere at the bookstore, library, and on social media. I didn't even have a clue that she wrote something like this, much less that they were making a movie of it. That being said, I appreciate your timely and relevant analysis of the whole controversy and book, and I'm eager to hear how the next one goes!

I’ve never been particularly interested in picking up a Colleen Hoover book, but after watching your review, I am tempted to. Can’t weigh in on the controversy, as I know next to nothing about her or her work, but I haven’t heard anything that would put me off (and I am definitely someone who DOES NOT separate the artist from their art).
