The reason why the design is different is because the Kagerou Daze PV is fan made. This is the official design by Jin and Shidou.

Oh sorry, I should have been more clear. Even though Wannyanpuu animated the Kagerou Daze PV it is still not the official PV and the character designs in it are not official. Sorry that what I said was misleading, I shouldn't have said it was fan made. My mistake. Also correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Wannyanpuu wasn't working on Kagerou Project until after the Kagerou Daze PV was made, because it was this PV that made Kagepro truly popular :D

Being a translator myself, I have complete knowledge on how it is virtually impossible to translate a poem, albeit a song.
I love her cover, her voice, and the inaccuracies are one thing that makes a cover nice. Without inaccuracy, it will be like reading Inferno without the rhymes.
