It's June 2024. This is what we call Rock & Roll! From the juke joints to England and back! Tina was the best of the ladies!!!! And remember, she's in her 40's here!
I have been loving Ms Tina since 1989 , I'm 38 now, never have I seen such raw soul, energy, showmanship master @ her craft, and to be even better in live performances than the studio, well that sums it all up for me, remember Tina well into her 40's plus and ripping through the stage like a hurricane, even at 69 when on tour still smashing through that stage and audience like it was in way back when. True class, true soul and grit n rock n roll, Tina will be forever, an original🎉❤😊
Praying for this beautiful woman that inspired me to leave me ex after 30 years of physical abuse and mental health if I had one wish to make I would love to talk to her or see her but I know I can't do either God above has his angels around her the most beautiful woman in rock n rock she is the queen

This was in northern Alberta, way out in the outskirts of Canada....my brother in law said he was at this concert.....at the time I had no idea who Tina Turner was, I was 14 years-old at the time.....the first song I heard her sing was WLGTDWI.....I've been a fan ever since...saw her 3 time..Calgary in1987, Ottawa 1993, and Edmonton in 2002
Thank you so much for uploading this concert! I saw Tina for the first time in 1986 or 87 at Mississippi State University. Since then, we met again in Memphis at the Pyramid in 1995. It was at that concert that I had roses delivered to her dressing room and later received a very nice b&w autographed photo. In 2000, I took my 59 y/o mother (at the time) to Cincinnati for the 24/7 concert. And, of course, shortly after I moved to Memphis in 2008 to be near Nutbush where Tina was born, I went to Kansas City, Missouri to finish our rock and roll relationship with her retirement tour. I've owned most of her concerts but they were on VHS tapes that were since destroyed in a flood. I'm thrilled to be able to download this concert and her many others. As I'm entering my 50's now, it's not always easy to get going in the morning. The bones just don't want to work like they did in 1984 when I listened to Tina on my Sony Walkman at the spry age of 15. But on those days when everything is slow to start, all I have to do is put on one of Tina's live concerts and the fingers get popping and the body gets rocking. These are also very inspirational to listen to as I run 3 miles everyday at lunch. When I'm feeling like I can't take another step, I listen and think of Tina who was performing 2 hour concerts when she was my age. And of course, as I wind down that run, it's nice to put on the Sound of Mystic Law prayer and wind it down with Tina's rendition of Amazing Grace thanks to all of you good people who posted these fantastic videos here on youtube. Without loving care, we cannot survive. Without loving action, we miss the meaning of life. Thankfully, Tina taught me the loving action part early on and she and I have discovered the meaning of life along the way. The memories of an old man. The joys of Tina Turner. I still like it... nice... and ROUGH!
***** No, at the time I actually lived in Jackson, MS and had gotten tickets to see her at the Pyramid. I just lucked out when I called a florist and I asked if they were near the Pyramid and could deliver to a star's dressing room and explained what I wanted to do. I wrote a personal letter to her and everything that I sent the letter FedEx to the florist who promised that they made deliveries to stars all the time at the Pyramid. The florist was really awesome - the lady did a really non-traditional bouquet and put in a vase that was 1st class and took a picture of it before delivering and sent that back to me. It was a week or two later when I received the envelope from Tina with a note written by her press secretary and a b&w autographed picture. It's definitely a prized possession.
First time I've seen this show - thx for the upload. This (time frame) was seemingly the end for this look - and the Kill His wife song. She soon hooked up with Roger Stone and her rise to (I hate this term) super stardom was on the way. Remarkable how she maintained her charisma and stage intensity all those years. Its also smile-worthy to see those dance steps she did for years! found what worked and stuck with it! :) Here's to her continued enjoyable retirement!!! Thanks Tina for all the amazing performances - you are loved!!
She was one of the people that had that something special where u just don't think they could or would ever die. That they will always be there. U don't think on that level. But time and circumstances befall even those! When she would perform it made me feel like joining in even though I am too sick to dance!! I would have loved to be a part of her dancing group when I was younger. I had her energy then. Another thing I noticed about her is in her interviews she always seemed to have a good heart and was not a high minded person. She seemed to be a pleasant person and understanding in many ways. She was so abused by her husband Ike but she said one time she understood him and stuck with him trying to help him until she couldn't anymore. She was a good wife and mother. But I think most surely those beatings damaged her body to the extent where over the years her body began to fail. That along with getting older brought her to her demise. The body can only take so much and she took too much. One disorder after another. So happy she found this wonderful man that provided her with what she had all along deserved for so many years. I pray for his pains of grief be comforted by God's promise that his beloved Tina has the hope of living again right here on earth again only this time without the pains and grief of this life. No sickness ,no old age and death. JOHN 5:28,29 ISAIAH 26:19 & REVELATION 21:1-5 Until then she's resting in God's memory with that hope of being alive again in the not too distant future. Death is not the end of it all It is only an interuption of her life!

My Best Friend that I knew from College lived in Calgary and he got Tickets, asked me to spend a week with him @ the new home he built in SW Calgary over looking the entire City.... One of my Best Weeks ever at that time in my life..... This of course was 7 years before I met my Angel Robby.... My best friend Hal, passed away in 1993 and I was so lucky to have Robby to accompany to his Funeral.... I always remember the good times we had together...Was only sorry that Robby never got to meet him... They would have really liked each other... Happy Memories, Bob &Robby
