I was born in 1964 so I didn't know much about Tina until her big comeback in the 80's. I have so many great memories of that time and her music was part of it. I remained a fan until now but the Private Dancer album was golden. She gave so much joy to people with her beauty, grace, and incredible talent. I can't help but feel so sad. She was a rarity and I wish I'd seen her live.

It takes a special kind of performer to keep a stadium in the palm of their hand and the attendee dancing and singing back for 2 hours. Very few can do it through the sheer force of their presence and damn if Dame Tina wasn't in the top eschelon of these top tier performers. In the UK, where I am, Tina Sold out stadiums - not Arenas - on every tour, as she did across europe and South America. I dont understand how she wasn't treated as such a draw in America. She mused on this point with Larry King, correctly saying she was as big as Madonna in Europe but wasn't in her motherland. It's a shame and a disservice to such an icon. RIP Queen of Rock 'n' Roll.

She was on point, her performance, energetic, sexy, strong, beautiful at 70. Her voice ever so unique! Her band was/still is one of the best! They did so many renditions of Proud Mary, and with Ms Tina Turner. I vividly remember her performance in Johannesburg, South Africa, my sister's and I were dancing and singing all the way. RIP Queen, Legend, Visionaire, you live on, in our hearts. We love you dearly.❤❤❤
