Years ago I did a job at LUKE AIR BASE. PHOENIX , AZ. They had a real Top gun instructor demo , 20 pilots watching,. My Guys and I watched to,. The pilot instructor was aways up there. He stood the F-16. Up on end going very slow forward but balanced it .... straight up...on the thrust ..coolest thing I've ever seen,. Best day I ever had working !
Buen trabajo y buena explicación. Gracias
Sweet build now that’s a plain I like the f14 was cool to but this one with the landing gear is the best scale version I have seen so far . Great job
Awesome video very nice jet and build great job thumbs up 👍
Fantastic re-fab model, I remember in the 70's when it was a big deal to buy a RTC, ready to cover model.
No thanks, but thanks for paving the way!
Me to Bud,. I'm 57 now. We've come a long way. ,. How ever. 600$. Wow. You don't wants crash that Beautiful F-18. I'd probably throw up !
this thing is fire.
Very nice, liked and subbed 👍🏻
Thanks for building this one
No problem! The more subscribers we get..the more we can do!
Wish i had this guy put my stuff together lol
Cool vid
Are you can set the screw in the hole of the collar and twist it to where the head of the screws sticking out to where you can hold it till you line it up and screw it 👍👍
Other than that looks like a real Beeeeautiful scale jet specially to be made of foam looks like its made of fiberglass
I'd probably be kussing up a storm tryna fish them wires through inside the wing
Is it just the lighting, or am I not seeing ANY alligator texture on this foamie? I've been out of the hobby for a few years and it looks like progress has definitely been made!
Your eyes aren't fooling you! EPO injection processes have gotten pretty good and after they final paint the model the surface is smooth.
Sub earned.....put that flag on with pride brother :)
I could be wrong but both times you fitted the 6s the esc plug was under the battery
it wasn't but that battery ended up being too large. I found another 6000mah fly from Glacier Lipos that had much smaller dimensions that fit perfectly
Hello good afternoon, a question that refers to the Spectrum receiver that you mounted on the plane Thank you, Greetings
I didn't mount it. It comes pre-installed
I know the saying that if you have to ask how much it cost , then you probably can't afford one but i need to ask how much is this kit . By the way amazing video

Horizon hobby highly sophisticated styrofoam company .. lol! Ty4sharing!!
Why is there no travel left in the rear mains when it’s just sitting there ?
It's designed to mimic the Full Scale landing gear. If you pay attention to full scale F-18, the landing gear compresses down fully in the same manner.
If you go to the Horizon Hobby F-18 site there is a video with the chief designer and a marketing fellow. The designer explains why the mains do what they do. A little bit of a compromise on the spring rates to make it work for this size of model. I would have liked to see some cushion, but I can understand why they did what they did. I have other jets of this size and can tell you that these retracts are really robust compared to my other jets. I think that these guys will be able to take a beating for the long haul! At least I hope so! Ha, Ha!

Use tailerons and toe in on the rudders. Your aircraft will be 100 times better.
Actually Horizon Hobby manufactures the airplanes of the E-Flite brand---I looked it up and is 100 percent
AMERICAN MADE.
Horizon Hobby has the intellectual rights and US patents of some of of their stuff. However their products are 100 percent Made in China.
I can send you a picture of the "Made In China" Label if you like for the F-18 or any other Eflite model. What's your email?
@@MachSpeedHobbies Then how do they get away with sayin they are manufacturing their products. Do they
get them assembled or unassembled parts?
@@jdove6883 I'm not sure where you are getting your info but Horizon doesn't directly manufacture their own products, although I'm confident they oversee product development production and quality control on all the brands they own. They are manufactured outside the usa however. In this case China unfortunately. Believe me, nothing would be better than to see this hobby return the USA, but you can't make any money that way. People won't pay the price.
@@MachSpeedHobbies Actually I recalled that i didn't see it i on a box. Instead they were on a list which
listed them as US. Obviously now it must not have ment MADE in USA. It is unfortunate.

Where did you buy a toy airplane?

That isn’t a toy

As an observer not into the hobby does it bother you paying all the moolah for a model made of the same stuff as the packaging it comes in?
It's not made of the same material it's packaged in. EPO is a different compound that is tougher, smooth, and carbon fiber reinforced. If the airframe was something like all fiberglass or carbon fiber the cost would be astronomical. Most people are nervous putting that much money in the air.
I'm reading these are underpowered. Is it true?
No not true. Watch the videos they have a spectacular vertical and will do 100+
