One that wasn’t included that has to be Rock Solid is Kiner-Falefa to Pittsburgh. I know it’d be hard to identify a “type” for the Pirates. But speaking of Pittsburgh in general, there might not be a more “Pittsburgh Style” baseball player on the planet than IKF. He’ll be a fan favorite in no time
Yo! I'm 13 and I just started baseball, I'm getting better everyday and you kinda convinced me that if I keep working I could actually get somewhere. I appreciate you bro even though you'll never see this.
As a Cubs fan, I wasn’t a huge fan at first because I loved Morel and thought he brought a great attitude to the team. He’s also one of the nicest guys. But I’m glad to see him doing well in Tampa already and I do think Paredes will bring a good toolset to the Cubs
Pache is so good defensively, if he just got his bat developed all the way he'd be a good center fielder. Once he fully develops he'll be a .240 hitter with 15-20 doubles and 5-10 homers a year, who will have an OBP of .280-290. He just needs a full season at center to finish developing. Get him playing in a defensive ball park and he will shine.
@@toms7114Philly has one of the best hitting coaches in the league. Kevin Long is arguably the best hitting coach in the league and couldn’t get Pache to his supposed potential. Every team he has been a part of has made it to or won a World Series
@@chrismarston4266 They didn't play Pache every day, because Philly is a hitter's park and their team style is smash the ball and defense second. Pache would do well in a park like Oakland, or San Francisco, or Tampa, or New York, either of them. He wouldn't bat well to start, but he would take away a hit every game or two on average. I think Oakland messed up his career by bringing him up to the majors before he developed enough at the plate to be an every day center fielder. As is Pache is a defensive replacement bench player, and without getting a chance to bat for a year in the majors he will never be anything else in baseball.
I was pretty surprised the Orioles gave up Norby and Stowers for Trevor Rogers. That was pretty steep. Eloy Jimenez looks like a DH or bat off the bench. Thanks for the video!! Maybe you can do one on who you think is Rookie of the Year sometime!
Don't forget the Padres added Cease earlier too. Not quite a deadline move but Arraez was a bit earlier too. They made some really good moves this year.
Yup- we had to trade too much for Kikuchi, but it was a needed one and I don't think it's inherently bad. Mainly due to mgmt saying Loperfido was off limits and they traded him anyway pissed a LOT of fans off. We need pitching depth because of our injuries. Thankfully Kikuchi got 8 straight K's his first outing with us. Crossing my fingers he helps us finish well.
really hate the Orioles this deadline. we gave away a fan favourite player to bring back a guy who struggles to hit in AAA and a reliever we could have gotten for cheaper, and we picked up Trevor Rogers for two big prospects. we got absolutely fleeced on that. would have much rather these moves: - Eflin trade as is - Seranthony Dominguez + Gregory Soto for Kyle Stowers + Connor Norby + cash considerations (the most traded player in the league)
Trevor I’m watching so much more baseball this year than I can remember ever. Kinda fell back in love with it. Do you struggle staying so involved with baseball now? Any ideas why it seems like baseball is making a strong comeback bc man I worried it wouldn’t make it
Hey Trevor, could you make a vid/short about how Kyle Harrison has 91st percentile fastball run value despite having below average velo and very underwhelming stat-cast splits?
Why the Angels shade? Those prospects they got for Esteves were highly touted. It's so easy to say they won't go anywhere but look at Jose Soriano and Ben Joyce. The prospect talent pool has suffered injuries but they still have top prospect Caden Dana in the minors. A little too quick to judge imo bro.
Arozarena to M's is a great fit but I have to say that he is not a good defender. He makes some fantastic plays but despite his athleticism, his slow jumps and trouble reading the ball off the bat make his range less than solid.
Lane Thomas better than Myles Straw?!?! Myles was DFA'ed not picked up by anyone and plays for our AAA Clippers. No one knows whos on the Guardians outside of CLE, and thats okay.
although they were sellers trev, i really like the marlins trade deadline. seems like they got a few teams to overpay for some of their pieces that they traded away.
Brett Rooker is a discount righty Kyle Schwarber, who isn't quite a good. He is a good bat, but he is streaky as all get out. 100% the A's should have traded him, there are plenty of teams who could use a righty bat with his pop. I'd place money that the A's wanted more than what any GM would be willing to give up for him.
Ngl I ain't a cubs fan but Christopher morel is underrated

Pache has been DFA'd by the O's. He was basically a throw-in in the trade.

Kuchi to the Astros is actually a great move I think. He’s got good stuff and Astros have a good history of maximizing pitchers outside of injury

Sad to see my cool friend Christopher Morel not on the Cubs, but he's going to rake in that park and do great with the Rays :)
Where do you put the IKF trade to the pirates because I think that’s a trade you forgot this video. Keep making great content
He did that one near the end of the video. 20:54
Hey Trevor, could you make a vid/short about how Kyle Harrison has 91st percentile fastball run value despite having below average velo and very underwhelming stat-cast splits?
Trevor on ESPN Statcast broadcast is cool lol is on ESPN 2 right now.
Even as an Angels fan I try not to think about the Angels either 👍🏻Another blown trade deadline
Yankee Stadium AND the city of New York are the perfect places for Jazz.

Angels won the trade with Estevez and the Phillies lmao
Luis Arraez wasn’t traded at the trade deadline
Correct.
yeah but he needed someone to add. padres did nothing.
he was traded early in the season
@@seabrich3503Friars had like the second if not first most busy deadline. Their bullpen is fucking loaded now, did you miss it all?
He was traded before the deadline
Liked & subscribed. _Go O's!_
Did he just skip over fedde/Pham at the end or am I trippin?
Yes
What do you think of the Eloy Jimenez trade?
None of the trades the Giants made were "good", but keeping Snell was probably their best option
The dodgers got Rosario to hit lefties and bc 5-9 in their lineup are hitting like all below .210
Ikf trade?
Hey Trevor can you share the link to your chocolate chip cookies again? I went to make them and the link I saved is dead now 😢
As a White Sox fan I still don't get Eloy to the Orioles, unless they think they can get him to stop hitting everything into the ground.
As an Orioles fan i didnt love it at first, but he's currently gone 5-8 for us, albeit in only 2 games thus far
@@craigmcpherson6093 I hope it works out for him, he is a fun player when things are going well.
Brewers traded for Frankie Montas. Where would you rank that trade?
he ranked it not great
@@calebcormier9062 I just checked back, I missed that part. Thanks!
Nice video!
Hey Y'all
No Ty France to the Reds 👀
*me watching this video on August 11th*
Oh wow jazz hit another 3 HRs the last 3 games.
At some point here you just stopped talking about returns. But you led off with a comment about how the best deals compliment both teams?
Your eyebrows are very fluffy sir
The Randy trade was FAR from perfect for the Rays!
Lane Thomas better than Myles Straw?!?! Myles was DFA'ed not picked up by anyone and plays for our AAA Clippers. No one knows whos on the Guardians outside of CLE, and thats okay.
Literally anyone is better than Myles straw
rosario hits 300
big fan. i am from vancouver wa. you played summer ball with my best friend haha

just noticed Trev has the Battlestate Games launcher on his taskbar. bro is a Tarkov player.
Pham and Fedde just left there…
last time Soler was traded to the Braves, Acuna tore his ACL and they won the world series. great trade

There’s no need to emphasize “ex-player” on every video
You realize not everyone is a returning viewer right. Think before you comment. It's for the algorithm.
Its called algorithm.
even less of a need to comment on it. go have a great day
Bud it's to have a catchy title
This is his first year as an ex-player, so it’s okay. Next year, he shouldn’t say it. It would be like calling someone a rookie in their 2nd year.
when are you gonna return to baseball baseball baseball baseball baseball? these stream clips are hard to follow
Yep. Trev needs to slow down a little. Might be Red Bull talking.
