That rush of sudden calm once that buzzer sounds is such an addicting feeling. Plenty of anxiety leading up to it but once it's gone off it's game time.
I'm just learning to competition shoot with husbands help. 76 yrs old. S&W 929 double action revolver. Difficult to shoot a man's gun with women's hands. I just subscribed to your channel. Really like the way you explain stuff. Easily understood and this topic is extremely helpful for me. Great idea! Thank you. 🙂
As I have to do most of my live fire training indoors , I use a Shotmaxx wrist timer on Accel mode. It measures the shock wave in your wrist. I draw from the buzzer on every drill - even slow warm ups. Timers are essential to game training.
Same concept applied to swimming start in demonstrated in the movie "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington. You are trapped, a prisoner on the starting block ( your gun is a prisoner in your holster). The starting gun (buzzer) sets you (your gun) free. Great visualization point for training.
Great info from this series. My son and I are both just getting in competitive shooting and these help so much. Thank you.
nice thanks
Indeed. go on the b not on the p.
Thanks for info. What timer are you using?
Wow cool 😎
Shot timer conceal carry training is way more fun and I don’t open carry
👍
Is that metrillo 2011?
Who the hell would wait for the entire beep to play through before drawing? That's like waiting for the 1812 overture to finish!
Excellent video and good advice......
But I still consider my shot timer a curse against humanity.......lol
