Just picked one of these up yesterday ( December 27th 2024) I can't wait to get the the range to use it. Thank You for your tutorial. It's going to be 3 or 4 days before I can get to the range, we have rain and more rain coming. I agree, it is a bit pricey for what it is but , most others are twice as much. Made in the USA is nice! I will come back by and let anyone know who wants to hear it, how I liked it.
Super helpful video brother! Im from the Philippines, i just got my Pact timer a couple of weeks ago which is a hand me down, instruction manual not included. This video saved me from aimlessly fiddling with it. God bless you man! 😊
ive had one of these for a while now and i havent used it yet. i bought it used off of ebay and it didnt come with instructions. i want to start running drills out at the range and im going to give it a try next time im out. thanks for the video!
Hello from Ouray, Colorado! New subscriber here. Thank you very much for this shot timer review! We used to use timers in the military a lot. I will eventually get one again. This looks like a very viable option! I agree.....$130 seems like a lot for just an audible timer. Have a great week!
Nice, thanks for the video. I have one of these, been sitting for over a year. Thought me and my co worker would use them at the range but now we have different days off. I am going to use the "par" time that you showed to practice my draw inside the house! Figure Ill throw a delay on it and film myself to see if I am actually beating the buzzer.
Great review man, I was about to resell mine or return it because I did not understand how to use it. But, now I can't wait to go home and start dry firing and taking it out to the range.
Hey I was just wondering if I’m the only one but my timer sometimes just turns on by itself. I noticed that when you took yours out of the box it was already on, so I wasn’t sure if you have that issue as well.
One thing im still trying to figure out before picking one up is how in the world does this thing know the difference between you reloading, and you being finished. Obviously there's a gap in the shots when you reload. How does it know???
Would have been nice. I have some Amazon rechargeable batteries and will just use them when mine comes. At least that way I'll have extra batteries with me too just in case it does at the range. Just a thought.
Man I really want one of these but I bought a blue one a different brand couldn't figure it out sent it back I don't think I can figure this one out even watching the video just seems too complicated wish I could just set it to shoot and shoot the timer or had set the timer I just I'm not a stupid person but I just can't understand how to do this
@ Jeff. I recently bought one. Played with it for about 2 mins. Pretty simple to learn and know what setting ya want. Pretty cool timer. I’m geeked to try and out and get better.
That's insane how expensive this is. Unless the 'microphone' is some advanced tech which I doubt it is...the rest of the thing is pretty low quality components.
Really appreciate you mentioning the dry fire training method. Never thought of that! Very helpful!
Great no-nonsense tutorial... this is the best timer... the boxy timers are harder to naturally hit buttons...
Agreed! and thanks for the comment, glad I could help!🙏

Great overview and how-to video. This video would have been sooooo helpful a few yrs back when I got my Pact II. It was a good refresher course tho!
Thanks for the comment! And yeah I had to read over the manual several times to figure it out😂
Thanks for the overview. Reading != seeing. Demonstrating this was really well done and appreciated.

Star Wars reference = subscribed
Clear description. The manual is a bit of a mess to read.
needs a lighted screen
👍🏼
Sorry, I know I'm late to the party, as for dry firing what would be your go to shot timer for dry fire?
Why does a boxy clock with a speaker costs $130?
And this is the most affordable 😂
And they should have made it rechargeable
Would have been nice. I have some Amazon rechargeable batteries and will just use them when mine comes. At least that way I'll have extra batteries with me too just in case it does at the range. Just a thought.
Great explanation. The instruction manual doesn’t give a good explanation for what the PAR setting means. Thank you

Yeah they can be a little tricky and I feel ya!!

@@stopplayin7022 it’s a great training tool!!🙌
Shot timer prices are the biggest scam lol
Is it just me or was anyone else’s battery compartment an absolute bitch to open. Like mine did not want to open 😂
That's insane how expensive this is. Unless the 'microphone' is some advanced tech which I doubt it is...the rest of the thing is pretty low quality components.
Lol seems like they make anything to do with guns expensive, because they know we're gonna buy the damn thing anyway.. 🙄
Omg yes!!!! To annoying haha I bet this thing costs $5 to make 😂
Th.ks for the video but terrible explanation 😅 maybe 🤔 im not getting it
130? I got this sucker ON SALE, for a cool 120. Take that.
Thanks! Very Helpful
