Those wheels that aren't touching the ground for Powertrain are called drop axles. They are for when the truck is carrying an extra heavy load and needs the extra wheels to spread out the weight better. But when not in use, they are raised back up to improve turning and not have to spend money on replacing them if they get damaged.
that color molding technique is known as "Gangmolding" by the way, its a weird thing, they used to do it for toys that didn't all come in a single pack too!
It's a shame we've never had Micromasters done with the same level of commitment as the originals again. Loads of miniature bots but the last time they did Micromasters proper they were a bit over priced and there was like 8 of them not counting all the ones that turned into weapons.
I love the look these simple little guys, though I didn't grow up with them. I got my first real original micromaster the other day (Roller Force) and I think I'll be collecting more.
Was honestly expecting ting you to ask the hypothetical timetravelling viewer to pick you up some of the other micromaster sets on their trip to the late 80s. 😆

I find these videos so relaxing and soothing in a way I can’t explain. Thanks Wib!
The soft jazz is nice
My brother had these when we were kids-Wib mentions a date...it's 20 years ago...turns to dust- great video!
I still have all my originals ones from.when i was a kid...still have the rocket playset
I always saw a tiny optimus prime in the monster truck design with the chest piece in "red" blue legs and eye visor instead of mouthguard
Micromaster are a nice idea. Its the perfect gift for young fans, if you dont want to or cant spend much money.
THANKS A LOT...for taking the time to do this vid! Really enjoyed it! More reviews of Transformers G1 Micromasters please!
I will pick them up next time I’m time travelling, thank you!
I miss having my Micromasters! Maybe I should get some modern ones.
I can't get enough of the Micro Masters! Great video and about a g1 team I don't own....yet ;)
I had High jump myself as a kid, remeber finding his transformation neat.
Oh my god I had these! I’d completely forgotten they existed until now. Thanks for the memories!

This just makes me miss my old minicons.
Love how simple g1 was, like they discovered the template.
Oh, wow. I must have been bought this set, because two of them jump out at me for instant nostalgia. But evidently I lost the others...
Damn this is coming out at the right time haha I was literally just looking at these guys in the toy shop
Careful Wib, do you realize how many minds your opening statement will have blown?!

They're just little dudes. Hanging out.
I need like 40
What's next, Thew Adams doing a Warhammer video? :D
I got these as a kid from a cousin or something, and could never figure out what they were called.
wait, is Barricade confirmed pangender? Would make that colour scheme even less subtle
smol boys... :-D
What is eBay if not the means for time traveling to the nostalgic past of one's toy ownership/wanting? No, I don't know what I'm on about either...
I'm selling the blue and orange ones if anyone is intersted :P
