Hello everyone! Thank you all for all the love and support you've given to this tutorial series. At first I was a little scared to post these, but your kind words have inspired me to keep making more videos. I spend a lot of time and resources to make these tutorials be of high quality, and FREE of cost. I'm a Formula1 engineer (working on the quality/inspection side of things) but I used to work with SolidWorks years ago. Recently decided to go back to design as a hobby and start refreshing my knowledge, for obvious price related reasons I chose Fusion. Then I found your tutorial. This is brilliant mate, I cannot wait to get through all of them! Well done and keep up with the great work!
Hey! Thanks for your kind words. Really appreciate them :) glad you found some time for your hobby and I'm happy I could be of some service to you. Enjoy!
Never ever knew how much there is to 3d modelling in softwares before I saw this! Loving how intricately explained the whole preparation and process is. I can't wait to try this out once I can! Always looking forward to the next tutorials!💥🤩
As always, a pleasure reading your comments. Yes, at first it may seem scary but trust me it gets realllyyy nice once you start. Let me know once you've tried it out!
Love the videos! The Fusion 360 community keeps amazing me more every day. You have certainly expanded my skill set by introducing alternative ways to produce and shape/bodies. You’re a fine mentor, keep up the great work!
Do share your thought if you've tried out this tutorial! If you feel like I'm going over a little fast, try the following: 1) Slow the video down in the Settings > Playback Speed > 0.75 or 0.5. 2) Turn on CC! I've always found that turning on subtitles helps me a lot. When I follow tutorials, I usually watch each step multiple times if I don't understand it. As always, the best way to understand it is to try it out yourself! Feel free to ask questions in the comment section.
Great thorough explanation, sir. There are many channels who model aircraft, vehicles, weapons etc and so on but almost everyone timelapses their video and adds some music to the background, and that's it. It almost never helps to follow along and model. But yours, though...I'm very, very thankful to you and will try the model as soon as I get to my laptop.
@@TEXDesignEngineering Yes! Now I have to make the engines, which I will as soon as these exams and assignments are over.. and one more thing, you're a superb youtuber because you reply and care for the commenters. It's a great thing. You deserve so many more subscribers !
MAN!! Thanks so much for providing all the resources on your website for free and organizing them. I'm not an Aerospace engineer but I'm a curious learner this is just Goldmine for me as I will be able to follow you and produce an exact replica of the aircraft. That's SUPER and I am fired Up to make this model. Thanks a lot!!. I just have one request If you ever have time and I know you are not a Marine engineer but if you could try to model a Container ship from start to finish that would be extremely sick. I love ships but there's nobody on UA-cam who has modeled a full ship. I hope you're having a good day! Wishing you the best in Life.
@@TEXDesignEngineering I think I am going to try follow through with your other tutorial here over the next little while. Its a daunting program, but your stuff really helps!!!
@@TEXDesignEngineering Thanks for taking the time to make this content. I am trying to teach myself F360 just a little at a time. Bits and pieces. Your videos are clear and easy to follow along. I too realized that I must need to use a mouse? I am using a new Macbook and have only used the touchpad. Can you reccomend a good mouse for F360 use?
Hey! You can have a look at what I've done with the Helicopter fuselage top and bottom. I did something where I had to create a different cross section and used that.

when creating your offset planes Ive noticed your values say -4.800E+4mm mine doesnt it just gives a normal mm value, how do I get it the same as yours as my offset planes "boxes" are tiny and still with the sketches, Thanks
Can Fusion 360 can be used as a "plan" to build our planes ? By that I mean that If I model a plane on Fusion 360, I will be able to build my plane irl ?
@@TEXDesignEngineering well, it would be my own plane design that I started to draw on paper, so theres no fig plans that can be found on internet since it's my own design, but I can still send you the paper design if you want to

This video isn't targeted specifically for RC models my friend. People use CAD models for all sorts of things, and some of them might need it in full scale. You can easily follow the tutorial with your own scales. Good luck!
You do NOT need to make a sketch and a line to calibrate your drawing! You can just click two points on your drawing canvas!! Drawing the sketch and the line are just extra unessesary steps!
I agree! Drawing the sketches is just an optional step if you'd like to be a little more accurate, that's all. If it's an unnecessary step for you, please skip it.
I think, tha drawing those extra lines is really helpful, because canvas calibrate tool does not snap on the 90⁰ angles as normal sketch lines do, thus you are able to calibrate canvases at right angles

Hey! I think it may be because of the unit measurements you're using. I think mine says that because I've been working in mm but scale is in meters
is this possible even if my blueprint only has a side and a top view?

Thanks for your lovely comment :)
At first I thought he said 38,000 meters I was like...uhh... thats a big plane.
Haha! Wouldn't want a 38km long plane, that would look super scary!
Why don't you pick a scale that someone could really build from instead of full scale??? Like for a Radio Control model airplane!!!!!
