RWD World: Final Battle vs Demo Battle

This is a side by side video comparison of Team Yokomo's Yoshiba leading during final battle against Kim and Yoshiba's lead run against Kim during the demo run.
Personally, about 3 factors led to the massive separation between Yoshiba and Kim in the Final run. First, Kim already had a deficit in proximity coming out of the corner because of a previous miscalculation on an earlier corner already. Secondly, Kim miscalculates in angle again coming out of the corner. In the slow motion you would clearly see Kim's massive countersteering angle which really slowed him down as oppose to Yoshiba. Finally, I feel Yoshiba had a different style of attack in the Final battle as opposed to how he ran in the Demo battle. You could also catch the switch speed of Yoshiba in slow-motion.
Question is, would Kim have caught up if he was running the preparedness he had on the Demo battle. My answer is Yes. I think even if Yoshiba had the same style on the Demo run as his Final Battle run, Kim would've caught up.
It'll be interesting to see Kim and Yoshiba battle again at TDC this coming November 2017.
