What Jade is talking about at 9:16- not knowing what you want to study/major in and really taking time to explore that... it's such a great way to approach university and life. Students who spend time as undecided majors or make a difficult choice to change majors are often some of the happiest alumni post graduation. A brilliant reminder to take the time to find what you love 😀

@@TobyBanci well I’m doing AQA for English too- I recommend for that to do an intro, three points and a conclusion (dependent on how fast you write). Make sure to put a key point that you can expand off of for each paragraph. Also build off of the AO’s- make sure to include most of them to get marks (A01-A03 I would say are the most important but if you can include all of them then include all of them!) Make sure to include other views, like Marxism etc where it applies but this doesn’t have to take up much room. Finally (MOST IMPORTANTLY) make sure to decide on an argument that relates to the question to weave throughout your entire essay when you’re planning, so all of your points are linked to one thing This is completely off the top of my head so if this doesn’t help then I’m happy to look through my notes!! In terms of Psychology I do OCR so idk how different they are, but I usually say 3 marks is a developed point. Follow Identify, Justify and Evaluate on the questions that have more marks (3+) and split them up into different points, if that makes sense?? In terms of 1 or 2 marks it’s best to follow Identify (this refers to…) and Justify (this means that…) Structure changes for each question but that’s the basics off the top of my head. Does this help?

I really LOVE essays and what you could do to make them better is to organize your paragraph properly, along with an introductory sentence or two and a conclusion, I personally like to add something philosophical to it like for example, let's say it is an essay about trees or biology or something, I would place " taking care of trees are important, however we should not forget about all of the other beings that withholds life and purpose" as a conclusion.
YES JADE, I feel you. It is so hard to focus on one thing to study when you want to study it all! This has been a huge source of confusion in my life and I am constantly trying to do it all and study it all... and make sense of how ridiculous that is. I have chalked it up to different phases of life for focusing on certain things and it's helped me a lot :)

We also talked about Relativism and Universalism in the subject of Religion& Ethics and I couldn't come to a decision whether there are/ should be universal moral standards or not... Because somehow I want them to be there, because that would make it easier to justify and also condemn certain acts, but I also think that we can't measure other cultures with our values etc. So it's hard to define which standards should apply to all cultures.

If you want a substantial tip: go into a thinking spree. Set a timer for like 15-20 min. Grab a notepad or pull your voice record app in your phone. And just let it out, let your mind run through everything you do know, or you want to know, and then just start… I promesa is not that bad, I’ve been there .. I’m still getting out

well that’s the thing I could never make a schedule like that with everything I want to get done bc it would be impossible to follow it! 😅 I literally never know what comes in my way & complicates essay writing etc… always some shit happens. also everything literally does take ages for me to do, I’m way slower than the average & that dismotivates me something incredibly much, it’s depressing & that’s why I choose to ignore it 😭😭😩 UGH :(

Much love 💗 Also, on your chat about moral objectivity/societies (I study philosophy as a minor) I would argue that whole societies have morals in common, it goes down to the level of individuals within that society because everyone will consume different media and entertainment that may cause that person to form individuals opinions on the morals or different morals - so yeah, I kind of think morals go down to the individual!
