Step 1: Google the solution to a problem.
Step 2: Memorize the solution
Step 3: Copy paste the solution from somewhere else.
Step 4: Ask AI to correct the code.
Step 5: Spend an entire week on fixing the code.
..... You forgot the solution and unfortunately the fix you implemented removed another feature, start again from step 1.
that's why you version control so if you fuck up something bad you can just go back to a version of the code you know works

I think every professional has something similiar. In Chip Design and medical doctor, old school people have a library of books and they go look and reference. Nowadays, engineers and doctors, just google it. Even my managers, some 25+ years veteran engineer, still use google to look up concepts during discussions lol. Honestly very few people can keep all that learning in their head.

GPT helps do monkey job, not thinking alot about simple things, but if you use it u should understand: 1) it's not build for creating complex things, you can't just be a god level programmer with it. 2) sometimes GPT can just confuse you, and make you build stupid things if you trying build something with it, not refactor. It's just very fast google but have worse result than google for complexity.
