About opening characters' challenge shows: you can actually use the auto-play mode, set ur energy usage to 1, and let it loop 10 times when ur asleep! That'll help opening the challenge show much faster if you don't have the time to play 30 shows in one sitting
I remember I introduced my friend to pjsk and he ONLY. and I mean ONLY plays for the rhythm game part. He has like over 50k+ crystals because he completely ignores events (but also means he has zero cards, but who does he care if he only plays for the rhythm part)

If you have better cards, you can get way higher scores even if you have the same ability while playing. At least make sure your friend knows that if he likes to play on coop. But if he truly just likes to play the rhythm game solo, good for him

I was someone who started playing jp early 2022 right after en released and because i played bandori before that i was already used to rhythm games, this meant I didn’t play any hard songs and when straight to master+expert. it’s been two years. I’ve just realised I have 50x400 crystals sitting there behind full combing hard songs 😭😭. The only thing stopping me from grabbing them all is the time it takes. Now I’ve made the habit of full comboing expert master and HARD even if it’s an extra job. it’s like my backup funds now 😂
omg yeah! i started fc every song on hard mode during the ‘never give up cooking!’ event because i needed to grind because rui wasnt coming home (dw i got him!) its turned into a routine with every new song now lol

I've been desperately grinding for crystals recently because all I want is one featured gacha of any character I actually like. Sad to say that I have already been doing all of this. But had I found this video about 2 weeks ago, it would have been life changing!
for 2* it’s kinda expensive to upgrade (dont even mention 3*) so for beginners like me (beginner = only fc around 1-8 expert songs) and don’t have much resources, i recommend deciding your fav char and pulling on their birthday banners (and only birthday banners) until you have all their 2* (optional) and 3* . then, mastery all that char’s 2* (optional) 3* also for kizuna ranks and upgrading your favourite (prettiest) 3* card you have that you have of that character and throw all of them into challenge show (by the time you finished this you should have at least 3 slots unlocked (in total) and place your best cards (most of time it’ll be at least a B, for beginners with 3-4 slots) and high scores give a lot of crystals (until you each end i think 1,000,000 score i think it’s just wish pieces after that so just choose your next fav and do the same process) TIP: invest in miku because she’s the cheapest (apparently i’m not sure) personally, i refuse because she keeps giving me min rolls
If you’re also wanting to get more wish pieces i highly reccomend joining virtual live shows which are seasonal and logging in during special campaigns events. If you’re lucky you can get up to 200 wish pieces from joining virtual shows and receiving login rewards (valentines is a good example they’ve had recently which gave me 200 wish pieces).
WARNING FOR MIKU. in jpsekai, there was an update at some point that made it so that way you lose character rank badges the more mastery ranks/skill levels you get for that character (ex. last time i got a rui card to mr5, i only got 3 badges). with miku, you can easily hit this (i hit it with len apparently, and i havent done as much with him as i did with rui). that, combined with needing to buy 5 of her area decorations to get just one badge, means that she is not the most economically viable one thanks to jpsekai limiters (one more note: this likely changed in may or june, as i first brought it up mid june)
i only recently (like within the past year) discovered the massive trove of crystals that challenge shows/upgrading 1&2 stars give, and i’ve been playing since 2021! definitely a very helpful guide for newer players, 100% gonna recommend it to any friends that start playing proseka 👍
lvl 80 and i never thought to save wish pieces for 1 and 2 star talents! ive always been shoveling them into 3 stars, but now i know to save them. thanks dude!
I'm a 2-year veteran of this game. I'd advise refraining from buying crystals except the monthly passes. My experience has been that paid crystals don't improve your chances of getting the 4* cards you want. I realized this after spending too much and watching a bunch of live streamers spending even more ungodly amounts and still not getting the cards. I have better luck with the free daily pulls that come with the highest level Colorful Pass. Also, pull when a banner is active and not wait until ColorFes because you will just end up with a bunch of cards you don't care for, 4* or not. I made that mistake with the 3rd Anniversary special when I spent 60K crystals that took months to save up and got a bunch of cards I loathed and not really anything I wanted -_-
Project sekai gacha is pure ass i feel bad for people who actually take it seriously 😭 0 guarantees, WAY too many banners, WAY too many cards..... And new cards barely offer anything new to the table gameplay wise besides pptimal event setups so it makes you feel even worse for wasting your time and resources grinding for them just bc you like them 😅 i used to take the game overly seriously and it made me feel really bad and very tempted to spend money honestly. Otherwise, it's like picking needles out of a haystack. If the cards you want happen to be the main cards for a ColorFes, then of course pull on that ColorFes banner. I got this tip from a JP video, which isn't 100%, but it seems to work better at getting the 4* cards I want than cold pulling: Make the character of the card you want your team leader. Play until you get full combo (any difficulty) and said character appears when the song ends, then pull gacha.
Dude these suggestions are really good! I'm probably near the 2-year mark for my EN account. I found out about the 1-star and 2-star mastery and skill stuff early on so I did those. (Back then I didn't have enough crystals or wish jewels for anything so I would get a pull, get the wish jewels, and use it on more 1 or 2-star cards. It really helps for crystals, and after the JP update that changed how the character system worked, I got another 18k from it lol) For challenge shows it's more so for longer termed players. The suggestions with main leaders for events are really good to! By the time I actually realized you could get a lot of Crystals from Challenge Shows, I had played so long that I had almost every character Challenge show unlocked (Except a few who were still somehow out of 0/30 despite Event teams being made at random) After the change in the character rank update, I basically had every slot unlocked for every character. Over time I had gotten so many 4-star cards of members on accident that I could level them up and use them to get the Challenge Show milestones which would let me get a ton of crystals. from score 0 to about 800000 or so would give me A good 2k Crystals alone! In the past 2-3 months (Since I can't get any crystals from character ranks rn they're too high level) I've started from 0 crystals and now have 15.6k not including the 2 10-pulls I did over the past events. I'd say this is more so a suggestion for long time players, If you haven't done Challenge shows for a character that you have challenge shows unlocked for. DO THEM, it's one day and if you over level a characters Challenge show you don't get much out of it anyways except for the daily 20-30 crystals and a bit of xp for the character. In exchange doing ones that you haven't done before, even with just fully leveled up 3-stars or 2-stars could get a lot of crystals out of it. Fun fact, a Fully leveled up, max mastery, max skill, and Side stories read 3-star with maybe a few type decorations, and such give more talent than a fully leveled up 4-star card. Oh, yea holding down on a card will let you see side stories, every card for first side story gives 25 crystals, and 50 for the second story. 3 and 4-star cards need extra jewels that get very expensive. Doing story quests might seem useless but they add up over time and you're bound to get a bunch of jewels as you clear songs. I would suggest doing that too. Plenty of my friends think that doing Character mastery takes too long (The Global server hasn't had the sliding bar yet, so you have to manually do each level) but I do try to tell them that it does give a ton of rewards. They don't listen tho-"

tip for unlocking challenge shows: just play hitorinbo envy over and over again until you get the characters. Also do hitorinbo envy for your challenge show, its the shortest song at 1:14 seconds, meaning that to unlock each character will only take ~30 minutes per character

Im lvl 88 and had no clue what energy did until now 😭 this vid helped so much with crystals (i had 30 pulls on the current en banner and went to 70 and got the card i wanted lol) i also had around 9k wish pieces (after converting my jewel) and have 5k + crystals left over! Great vid 10/10
when it came to the sanrio banner i was grinding so much i did the most i could do, i unlocked everyone's challenge lives, unlocked most 1,2,3 card stories, skilled them up, leveled up their mastery rank, full comboed all hard i had and most expert and master songs up until 31, reaching up to S rank, attended virtual lives, and it seems to be that my account is almost unfarmable and i am almost reaching up to my max 💀 in the end i pulled around 200 times but i didnt get pompompurin saki, and i couldnt spark with 10 vouchers bc i used the little sticker things for wishgems and now its hard for me to farm 💔

It depends if you just want to spend all your energy at once go ahead But if you want to maximize the amount of rewards / exp you get per song Setting it to 2 would be the best (Playing 5 songs at 2energy will give you x50 rewards But playing 1 song at 10energy will only give you x25 rewards)
Honestly I’m so bad at doing anything when it comes to the cards it’s like the one feature I’m still a bit overwhelmed by… I made bad Gacha decisions that I regret and have been suffering the consequences, so I need to build up my gems so I can make better ones in the future. Depends if you need the crystals or not For example almost every event. My team is usually 3-4 stars. So I dont really “need” to do any pulls unless I really want the banner, so ill spend wish pieces raising the mastery of my favorite 4stars

@@laoloserr YUP. its a long list of things you need to give them actually. as many 4star cards as you can remember owning is another one. aside from the exact number of gems, the other thing i failed to remember was actually your last challenge show. specifically what song, what difficulty, and if you cleared the song. So... now you know. I think it actually should be more widely known the amount of stuff they ask for in account recovery because i definitely was not prepared for those questions
I really need help to understand how to get high score on challenge shows to grab those juicy 100/150 crystals each time reaching high score, so is the only key is to keep leveling up character cards? Or there is something else I'm missing?
What works for me is to upgrade your character rank so you have more challenge slots for a character when you start. My Shizuku and Tsukasa challenge shows get me the most crystals because I unlocked them for challenge shows after upgrading their character rank, so they have more slots and crystals. Doing long songs also helps, so I generally find easy songs that are long/have a lot of notes, like Mirai, that work best.
Generally yes. I just like to keep some as jewels sometimes in case i want to increase the mastery of my 4stars But you can still do that after theyve been converted too

Global has event missions, JPN ver doesn't. Global also didn't have the Showtime Ruler event, and it's card set. Also, Global is one year behind, even though the actual anniversary event got moved up by 3 months. I think that's why that version during the JP anniversary had bait banners, they were probably testing moving up the dates of Global ver anniversaries (full and half).

If you haven't done Challenge shows for a character that you have challenge shows unlocked for. DO THEM, it's one day and if you over level a characters Challenge show you don't get much out of it anyways except for the daily 20-30 crystals and a bit of xp for the character. In exchange doing ones that you haven't done before, even with just fully leveled up 3-stars or 2-stars could get a lot of crystals out of it. Fun fact, a Fully leveled up, max mastery, max skill, and Side stories read 3-star with maybe a few type decorations, and such give more talent than a fully leveled up 4-star card.
Oh, yea holding down on a card will let you see side stories, every card for first side story gives 25 crystals, and 50 for the second story. 3 and 4-star cards need extra jewels that get very expensive. Doing story quests might seem useless but they add up over time and you're bound to get a bunch of jewels as you clear songs. I would suggest doing that too.
Plenty of my friends think that doing Character mastery takes too long (The Global server hasn't had the sliding bar yet, so you have to manually do each level) but I do try to tell them that it does give a ton of rewards. They don't listen tho-"
Yeah I mainly play on EN and it is a bit tedious to do the mastery’s one by one haha

For some reason I seem to have less lag on the JP side too idk if that's an extra part of the update but often times my English server side will pause in a song and play audio for 5 seconds then unpause but I can't hit any of the notes for those 5 seconds because its frozen. It basically kills me-

My friends still didn't do mastery and skill up so I did it for them throughout lunch breaks cause they still didn't want to do it (One of them is on JP and another EN) I got them a good 3-4 ten-pulls each with just those alone + any part 1 stories I could do but they both ran out of Jade gems or whatever it is before I finished all their 1* and 2* cards lol

S-ranking and fcing hard+exp+master also gives 300 gems per song and thats kinda crazy considering theres around 400 songs on jp

tip for unlocking challenge shows: just play hitorinbo envy over and over again until you get the characters.
Also do hitorinbo envy for your challenge show,
its the shortest song at 1:14 seconds, meaning that to unlock each character will only take ~30 minutes per character

Im lvl 88 and had no clue what energy did until now 😭 this vid helped so much with crystals (i had 30 pulls on the current en banner and went to 70 and got the card i wanted lol) i also had around 9k wish pieces (after converting my jewel) and have 5k + crystals left over! Great vid 10/10

i did the most i could do, i unlocked everyone's challenge lives, unlocked most 1,2,3 card stories, skilled them up, leveled up their mastery rank, full comboed all hard i had and most expert and master songs up until 31, reaching up to S rank, attended virtual lives, and it seems to be that my account is almost unfarmable and i am almost reaching up to my max 💀
in the end i pulled around 200 times but i didnt get pompompurin saki, and i couldnt spark with 10 vouchers bc i used the little sticker things for wishgems and now its hard for me to farm 💔

If I have no crystals to pull gacha then no wish piece and no wish piece means no mastery and no mastery means no crystals which means no gacha that leads to the crystals😨

It depends if you just want to spend all your energy at once go ahead
But if you want to maximize the amount of rewards / exp you get per song
Setting it to 2 would be the best
(Playing 5 songs at 2energy will give you x50 rewards
But playing 1 song at 10energy will only give you x25 rewards)

Bc of this I have so many characters in the green room and I haven’t sold any, bc I don’t level cards up so I don’t rly have a use for wish pieces, so I can definitely do this pretty easily I’d say.
I've been planning on saving my wish pieces to increase the mastery rank of a certain 4* card, is it worth waiting to spend 2000 wish pieces to increase the mastery rank once or should I spend it on 1* & 2* cards instead?

@@laoloserr YUP. its a long list of things you need to give them actually. as many 4star cards as you can remember owning is another one. aside from the exact number of gems, the other thing i failed to remember was actually your last challenge show. specifically what song, what difficulty, and if you cleared the song.
So... now you know. I think it actually should be more widely known the amount of stuff they ask for in account recovery because i definitely was not prepared for those questions

I really need help to understand how to get high score on challenge shows to grab those juicy 100/150 crystals each time reaching high score, so is the only key is to keep leveling up character cards? Or there is something else I'm missing?
What works for me is to upgrade your character rank so you have more challenge slots for a character when you start. My Shizuku and Tsukasa challenge shows get me the most crystals because I unlocked them for challenge shows after upgrading their character rank, so they have more slots and crystals. Doing long songs also helps, so I generally find easy songs that are long/have a lot of notes, like Mirai, that work best.
This ^ also make sure to upgrade your decors as well, mastery rank and skill also important if you havent done that!

Global has event missions, JPN ver doesn't. Global also didn't have the Showtime Ruler event, and it's card set. Also, Global is one year behind, even though the actual anniversary event got moved up by 3 months. I think that's why that version during the JP anniversary had bait banners, they were probably testing moving up the dates of Global ver anniversaries (full and half).
