Always waiting for your videos bro! Thank you! Going to fort Jackson January:/ haha AIT at Jackson too!
So happy for you man, you must be a 42a
Ya unfortunately! But that might change haha..they gave me the job with bad credit so idk if I will pass the security clearance.
They investigated me after the fact I signed and got sworn in I even have a damn CAD card but I am a reserve
I’m phase V Delta 369 at ft Gordon as well. Tomorrow starts week 2
Nice! What do you think so far?
Was in AIT at ft Gordon in 81, drinking was the pass time! 05B!
Must be nice!
I’m going to fort Jackson for BCT in a couple weeks and then fort Eisenhower for 25B as a reservist. I’m from Death Valley so not worried about the heat, cool you can smoke, bummer that you can’t drink though lol
Yeah but looking back, it wasn’t too bad
Just want to mention being a hold over is not always from a bad thing im currently a hold over in jackson bcs im going overseas to korea so o have to stay a extra 3 weeks
Very true! I forgot about that! People end up being holds waiting for jump school slots too!
In red phase basic training about to go to white phase (Fort Leonard wood). I'm going as a 25U. Do you know anything about 25U's and if it was a good choice (be blunt). Thanks!
Nice congrats! Well I don’t know too much about 25U just that you’re gonna be in the Army Signal Corps with the rest of the 25 series… so yeah you did good!!
Great video. Trying to decide between 25S and 25Q. Any suggestions?
Can’t go wrong with either! 25s I think is harder but def solid. If I could go back in time I might choose Sierra. But Quebecs are cool too! Can’t go wrong either way.
I’m currently at Fort Gordon C Co! I’m 25H so I’ll be here for a good lil minute, my questions for you would be these, what’s a day in the life of a 25 series mos look like in the big Army? Are you in the field often? How well prepared were you for your first unit assignment based off what you learned here during AIT? Sorry for all the questions lol 😅
How is it? What's your day to day? Weekends?
25 series is the best! Every unit is different, so my experience would most likely differ from yours! I felt prepared but also like I didn’t know anything at all. I would pay attention at ait but when you get to your unit you’ll probably be expected to not know that much, and you will have the opportunity to learn again, at least I did!! Congrats!!
@@realkevinellis I’m going for my BT next month . I’m also doing 25H .Is it hard to learn ? I mean I don’t know much about computers .
And where do you go after Ait ? Do you get deployed? Do you do a lot of combat or just the IT stuff
@@draculasniper9410I might meet you eventually I’m going into 25h I shop in January
Please tell us more about this new 25H mos, is it worth it? what's the diff. with 25b? Thanks buddy
was this ever followed up?
He never responded to my question. It's a new mos, and I'm trying to figure out what to do.
Going to Gordon today will they let me bring my laptop and switch?
I got my diploma at the FORT GORDON YCA program haha. Do any of y’all ever see the YCA students?
Question, as a 25s about to go to AIT what are somethings you might need? Ex computer etc
Laptop yes, civilian clothes, not much else to be honest, everything you need you’ll be able to buy there. Phone laptop, clothes pretty much covers your needs. You also don’t really need a laptop.,, but I was glad I brought mine. Some people bring a switch or something, but wouldn’t go crazy with a game console but people do it.
i’m in fort gordon rn. Bravo company. Im a 25U and i’m phase V. If you guys have any questions ask away :)
Winter he forgot about us 25U smh 😢(Mercedes)

then you know the pain of the land nav + ruck + health & welfare yesterday
@@ToxicSoul03 100%. the worst saturday i’ve ever had. really felt like we were in red phase in basic training 💀
Going to fort Gordon, now fort Eisenhower tomorrow. I’m a 25H
Same, 25 h. JACKSON, SC THEN EISENHOWER. Too bad I don't ship till Aug 12th ( 3 months from now)
@@doomdoomerson6524 Damn, I can't believe my comment is about to be 2 months old. Fort Jackson was easy bro, the hardest part was staying awake lmao. I finished basic in March, currently in AIT. Surprisingly when you ship out, is around the time I graduate AIT. If its the same drills sgts that we have now in AIT when you arrive, it won't be so bad. Good luck to you when you ship off, I can say that this whole Army thing has been an experience you can't get anywhere else.
Another question! I had plans of buying a car as soon as I get to AIT, will that be possible?
wait until you get to your first duty station
Hello i ship out next week as 25H for basic thanks for this video getting pretty excited
My husband is in Boot Camp right now at Fort Leonard Wood, MOS 25H. I’m trying to find out is it true that I’m going to be on his orders for AIT at Fort Gordon? Because he graduates next month and I need to know what to do.
I don’t think so. Unless something changed in the last year. You will probably be on his visitor list but order’s probably not
@@realkevinellis oh OK because the recruiters told us that anything over 20 weeks the army doesn’t want to pay family separation pay,so they will put me on his orders
I am still deciding which MOS to enlist in. I am looking at 25 series with an option 40. Which mos in the signal corp is in the field the most?
I’d say that all the 25 series are about the same it would depend on your unit… I’d say 25H because that’s what I am but 25S are in high demand. If you scored high enough on the asvab I would go for that… if you can get any job with TS or at least S clearance you will be good on the civilian side when you get out or while you serve in the guard!
369 b.co this shit is so easy compared to basic, drills are so relaxed
10x better
What phase can you get to use your phone
Lol once you leave basic you get your phone back. I heard of some people having to wait a week for some reason but at Gordon they never took our phones
25H ship out 06/10 👌🏽 since 17C is a packet MOS.
Is there reception in AIT
Noo
@@realkevinellis nice love the videos keep it up
I chose 25s
Man I ready to leave 25H ait is soo boring
Man how long until you phase up? I was lucky and got to get accelerated so I was only there for 9 weeks… couldn’t imagine doing the whole 20….
Anything you could share about what you actually do at AIT? I'm on VBL right now for BCT and going to Gordon for 25H in February. Can't find a whole lot of info on what I will actually be learning there.
mann.. please tell us more about it. I don't know if I should go 25b or 25h. PLEASE HELPPP
@@realkevinellishow did you get to accelerate
