- ACFT EVENTS:
3 Rep Deadlift
Standing Power Throw
Sprint Drag Carry
3 Minute plank
Hand release push-ups
Two mile run
I am aware I used an old photo of the acft in this video, the leg tuck has been replaced by the plank

Don't know about today's Army, but back-in-day it didn't matter what shape you were in. The Drill Sargeants would purposely break you down mentally and physically in order to bring you along as a team. Resistance was futile. If you rebelled you were going to have a rough time, or get recycled.
It's still this way team building and morale are really big in bct or atleast they were for me last year. I went in as a big guy and most of my platoon were little guys so we'd all suffer together and in the end the big guys came out smaller and the small guys came out bigger 😂 it was fun though
wow you're so macho here is you're cookie old man
Appreciate you bro 🙏 going in to basic July 1st. Kinda in the same boat as you with the more powerlifting style. Completely switched up my training for these last 2 months to a lot of body weight and running. just one heavy day a week instead of all 4-5
its for sure a dramatic change in workout programing but remember this is temporary! once you finish up in basic and ait and get out of that tradoc environment you can slowly get back into that powerlifting style workout routine at your unit.
I got basic next summer and my stamina sucks. I really hope I can pass the test. wish me luck 🙏
Remember start at your own pace but push past that comfort zone!! Do a verity of cardio workouts but mainly focus on long distance running do a mile 4 times a week as a good start
I will become a US Army soldier soon🙏🏾
Congratulations and best of luck🙏🏻
Bom dia Sr.King! Muito bom seus vídeos ótima dicção .Deus o abençoe ..
Tomorrow’s my first day of physical training at home I’m trying to get enlisted next year
Get to it brotha!! You'll only get better the more you prepare yourself
LOL, they will get you in shape in basic thats what its for, they did me
Better to get ready beforehand though! But you're right even if you go in shape you get in better shape lol
How many push ups should I be doing a day to get prepared. I work out 4 days out the week. I run up some huge hills and jog too.
Work on doing proper form push-ups more than anything also to help you for when it's time to do the acft look into hand release push-ups and train on holding the pushup position for a while also coming down and up slow
Is running or rucking the best way to increase endurance? I get tired easily and i want to work on that
Do both if you can! I regret not rucking before basic but it's good conditioning for your feet
The recruiter I've known for 2 years recruiter is taking me to meps a week after my 17th bday which is in sept what should I focus on now?
Practice asvab and start working out if you haven already!
@KingCurt24 alright man i appreciate you and thank you for your service 🙏
Estou a aprender ingles ! quanto mais ouvir melhor ! Vais me ajudar
what if you start the bulk before basic then cut during basic
Could do that but I wouldn't recommend it that's a drastic sudden change
Am already in that shape and my physique is so much stronger but i don’t have a chance to join the force 😢😢😢😢
