I'm full of excuses to sin and later i regret. I pray to overcome the my weaknesses but as soon as im done i fall again without giving any effort. Daily i sin after sin. Lord discipline me. When will i gain the victory for you my Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for me.
I had the same problem and still do, it became easier when i demanded that Christ take away my free will and fill me with his. Once that happens you begin to lose interest in sinful things, to the point of being repulsed by them the more and more you read and understand Gods word

It's not easy to do but is necessary for building that relationship with an awesome God.
Anytime you feel the thoughts waving and crushing through your mind, rebuke the thoughts, take your bible read a chapter and pray

I have learned to accept all life's hardships, I no longer worry about earthly stuff. Once you trust in God, and I mean truly trust , you reach a state of mind of total acceptance and it is a heavenly place to be.

@@wd-40freedompress80 Just be honest to God even though he already knows. Tell him you need help,want help and truly want to change but cannot on your own. You recognize the sin and with his help you can overcome anything. Repent in your heart. Go deeper and longer in prayer, away from others when nobody is around so that you can cry and shout if you need to.
As the saying goes, even when I don't see it or feel it, you (God) are working. So whether you feel it or not , keep praying daily for this so he knows your commitment to change.
All he wants is a relationship with you, and he will do the rest. Do your part and trust in him for the troubles you can't change. Repent but also rejoice in knowing that he can and will change you. Don't get stuck in the mentality of a sinner. Focus on the upcoming victory. You will one day look back and say praise and thanks to the Lord and say thanks for the future battles.

He will never judge u or call u by ur sin, instead He calls you by ur name. Repent and ask for help and let Him help and guide you.

Temptation begins long before the choice of Yes or No. Remove the path to Temptation, the pattern of behaviour that ends with the choice.
For example, going to a party and the Temptation is to drink alcohol. Don't go to the party and the path to Temptation is removed, the Yes or No choice is gone.
Yeah that's true everyday we commit sins
This is exactly what I needed to hear. I have disciplined myself to fast, but I still give in to other temptations of the body such as drugs and pornography. These words have opened my eyes to the way forward.
Do you go to confession and receive Holy Communion? Praying the rosary each day and Angelus three times a day at 6am, 12pm and 6pm helps me with this, but I still struggle to let go of it. But it's not so much a constant obsession.

I keep saying I need to go get my lips (duck lips) done and my cheeks Re done so I can “feel and look” good.
I overindulge a lot feel so satisfied afterwards… but I need to stop giving in to my body!!! The flesh can make us so weak spiritually if we keep giving in.
I’m saying this right now, I will stop! I will try! I will pray about all of my sins and all these things that keep pushing me further away from the Holy Spirit and more in the fleshly desires.
