A double header freight runs over the layout. The locos are both the new tooling sound value 4-4-0 locomotives from Bachmann. Both have been repainted.
Great scenery and rollingstock! And do you have a map or diagram of your layout? I like the space efficiency I saw in this video and would like to get some ideas for when I start my own layout.
Hi vidfreak727, thabks for your interest. The layout features two turntables. The one seen in the first minute now has a two stall engine shed installed. This scene was not complete when I shot the video. The turntable at 1.54 is at the halfway point on the railroad and is used to turn engines not running the length of the road. It does not have a roundhouse.
Neat video, received my new 4-4-0, just wondered do yours buck up and down some? I think I saw yours doin that too? Maybe traction tires ? Mine is really noticeable at higher speeds ......
Hi James Morgan GunsandTrains , they do buck a little, I don't tend to run them much faster than shown in my video so I don't notice it? I wondered if it was their short wheel base and lightweight nature? The old versions bucked a lot more memory. Maybe it is the traction tyres.
I would say it is the locomotive, and it's nothing wrong with the locomotive. I think Luke is right, and it has more to do with their wheel base. If you watch footage of old steam engines, running with speed, they would also have a small wobble like you see here.
Your efforts have certainly paid off. A marvelous layout!!!
Very Lovely Layout you have a Selection of 4-40’s and 4-6-0’s old west style Keep up the Lovely Layout.
A really wonderful Scenery I love it

Was there supposed to be a roundhouse by that turntable?
