I do agree with how quickly the difficulty ramps up going past difficulty 4. You need the heaviest arsenal stratagems (usually locked behind reaching lvl 20) to really have a chance to take the big stuff down quickly. Chargers, hulks, bile titans, etc. Railguns are great as they penetrate ANY armor, autocannons, 500kg eagle bombs, etc are the kinds of things you need to crack and take down the heaviest armored foes which start showing up from difficulty 5 and on.
If I've learned anything from horde shooters the highest difficulties usually aren't worth playing. Way to hard for what you get out of em.
@@goreobsessed2308 can agree. Only do enough difficulty 7+ for the super samples you need for ship upgrades then fall back to more manageable difficulties.
Mechs returning got confirmed by the devs just as a heads up, i believe it's on their twitter :)
Difficulty in Helldivers is a way to split the community from Casual Enjoyer to HELLDIVER.
completing dives in higher difficulties also benefits the "War Effort" much more meaningfully... which is a part that i was disappointed to notice that it was not covered here.
I'm pretty interested in that game. Only multiplayer coop game i like so far (mainly pkaying single player games) been DRG.
Maybe you coud do a comparison video between Helldivers 2 and DRG as it seams like it shares the things I like about DRG
Here I am thinking the timer at the top was the time you had to finish or you would fail…so you telling me I don’t have to panic whenever there is only a few mins left lol
No lol. You just don't get to use strategems anymore. That includes of course reinforcements. You after the timer all deaths are permadeaths. And the dropship will be called automatically for you. So you only like 2-3 minutes to get to the DZ. Or, you could sacrifice yourselves and finish the main objective if that's not completed. :)
Im sad that this game has premium currency (even if you can get it in game) because DRG showed the world you can have a successful and profitable game without premium currency.
Basic summary you go into battle get big ouchie and oofs all for democracy

I will not go above Difficulty 4 until they lower the swarm count and make larger enemies less common. A Charger at Rank 4 as a mission objective should not be a common group of (four or more) enemies at Rank 5. 😅
This game has been great fun indeed.
I guess the other faction comes similar to the already confirmed mechs that they bring out!

There is a trailer showing the exo mech and saying its coming soon after launch. Also got to mention the game is only 40 dollars in a gaming landscape filled with 70-100 dollar games that are trash.
The game looks cool and what not but i am uneasy and unsure about some things. I play a lot of drg, primarily by joining other games. Is Helldivers good only if you have friends or can i play with other people and join other people regardless if i know them or not?
I dont have any friends to play with and have been joining other peoples matches. I’m only a few hours in but haven’t run into any dbags yet. The ping system definitely isnt as good as drg, but it works well enough not to really need voice chat
@@EthanG_944 Good to know, thank you for your input. I will wait a bit longer until i know for sure the server issues are fixed ( i will play it on PS5 ) then i will buy myself a copy, game does look fun.

Weird most reviews don't mention that the game hasent worked properly in 10 days... But yeah spend your money.

YES!
I have to laugh at 'illegal broadcast' objectives. You only have to stop the broadcast which a lot of people think is doing terminal stuff. You can also just destroy the tower itself for a much faster clear. Why sit around slowly waiting for system log ins and playing around with signals to shut something down? BLOW IT UP in the name of Democracy, Liberty, and Super Earth!
Seriously you don't even need too heavy of a stratagem to take down the tower either. Even the eagle clusterbomb which can't normally destroy fortifications is enough to handle a measly radio tower
Eh, the only reason that I believe helldivers is worse than drg is the terrible online only experience and not having servers peer to peer like what drg has. I been hearing so many connection issues and crashes that it's embarrassing
what if the game had better server capacity LMAO
