It’s purely great acting. When ever Sam has done a performance online over the past few months it’s incredible to see how he naturally slips back into playing the character and how the Evan mannerisms naturally come to him when ever he sings songs from the show. It’s why I love Sam as Evan because his performance is so natural and so incredibly believable 💙
Having seen him live, I think Sam is more Evan than Evan is actual Evan! I wouldn't even know what Sam in reality is like because his Evan is spotless every time.

This cast was breathtaking when I watched them in Dear Evan Hansen. Absolutely phenomenal and at the Noel Coward Theatre, they made it feel like every performance is for you alone - incredible.
I was on holiday in London last March. I feel so incredibly lucky to have watched DEH and other West End shows before everything went on lockdown. I miss live theater so much and I can't wait to be in a darkened auditorium again and watch a show!

Love this song. The amount of times I play this song staring Ben Platt and it always makes me cry. The fact that people are struggling with their mental health and want to commit suicide. The fact they are to scared to speak up. But "You will be found" as "You're" "not alone." "You're voice is heard." Never give up. You're voice is heard. There's a light at the end of the tunnel. Speak up at how you feel and get support. I really want to see the musical and/or the film. Won't be much longer until it's our over here.
Saw the promo for the musical thinking cool new show, didn't think much beyond the general sypnosis of the story. My word I swear someone must have been cutting onions in the theatre, such an emotional story filled with musical gems such as this one. Unfair to compare it to the Broadway cast, but the London cast is its own brilliance! Is = because it and the whole theatre industry will come back!
