A couple of odd thoughts. With this new aquatic theme, might we expect an octopus epaulet? And, given your frequent use of Blade Runner themes, I have to ask "Do electric sheep have lurex fleece?"
I think “the Dimensionality of the Fish” needs to be put on a t-shirt design! 😂 I love that design! The half shell fins are genius! It’s such a beautiful finished piece, it reminds me of Cartier’s jewellery from the thirties and forties that featured onyx and coral. Awesome work!
@@TheClosetHistorian I’m constantly blown away by the pieces they created - their Mystery Clocks are just awesome! There was a display of their work at the British Museum in the late 1990’s that I visited. Just incredible work - and definitely your style, I reckon! (I recommend seeking out the book of the exhibition!)
@@creepycutiecrafty I was lucky enough to be interning at the Denver Art Museum while they were getting their Cartier exhibition together, so I spent several days researching different pieces. Then I got to go to the opening of the exhibition and walk through it several times, so I have that coffee table book for sure! theclosethistorian.blogspot.com/2014/11/brilliant-cartier-in-20th-century.html
@@TheClosetHistorian that is so cool! You’re very lucky indeeed! I was always blown away with their carved emerald pieces - when you realise how brittle emerald can be it’s doubly impressive (I trained as a jewellery designer/craftperson, so I got to learn that side of it!) I feel that Cartier became a lot less interesting once that design side dropped off. Not that I’d turn down a piece if it were offered to me though! 🤣
And if you're looking for long brooch pin backs, Pasternak Findings has long silver ones in multiple sizes (25mm-55mm). They are, like, $5-$8 each, but for the amount you probably need that doesn't seem too bad
I can't get enough of these beading videos. Mesmerizing, calming, thrilling. I'll never be able to own all these different types of beads, but I can watch your amazing crafting, and dream.
These little koi fishes are both stunning! Like one of the other commenters, I am especially enamored of the little orange fellow--a winsome juvenile. Well done, as ever!!
Hi Bianca, love the new koi brooches. Siamese fighting fish would be really interesting to make for a wide variety of colour. Firemountain Gems has a wide variety of pin backs, they may have the ones you really like.
Beautiful! They always get rid of the good stuff. You made this look so easy. Start with the eye, then fill in the details! The dimensionality of the fish make them look actual fish heavy. I love these!!!!!❤
Soo.. I'm currently working on a Luna moth inspired by your beading adventures (and I am so proud of how it's coming along) but I just.. hadn't thought to branch out to aquatics 😯 this is stunning As lovely as koi fish are, flying fish are the ones that own my heart and now I desperately want to start one..
Bianca, I love your bug & moth brooches, but am terrified of the real life one. These fish I’m truly enjoying without my negative mind in the background!😉 you are just so talented! Loved the two koi on that fabric at the end, fish swimming in a pond!
I am suppressing the urge to make a silly koi pun. Instead I just want to say, this is lovely! The fins look so cool. Also I really enjoyed the background music you used. Very relaxing and sparkly video.
If it is of any use, Wool felts are often available at Quilting shops as well. Since so many chain fabric and crafting stores are closing, finding things at specialty shops to actually touch them rather than purchase online blind might be helpful.
Amazing work, as always! I think the light gray felt is perfect, actually. If the felt backing were white, I don't think you'd see the increasing opacity of the white sequins as they overlapped one another.
Oooooo I love!!! I made a beaded koi skeleton a few years ago that I layered underneath some very transparent organza that I embroidered some Lillypads on to. I layered that overtop so it looks like the skeleton koi is swimming in a pond lol
These are so beautiful. Can imagine the background satin draped in a glass topped glass box display coffee table with all different beaded koi as a decorative accent in a living room. Love working with beads and felt and I wonder if you were able to design koi kits that could be assembled by others and sold as hobby kits if you could get an income as the initial designer of the kit. These could be as you said used for so many decorative purposes. You are a wonderful designer and teacher and if you could design kits that others could do the assembly work for it would be wonderful for you if you could get a nice income for it while you go on to create other dreams!
Both of those koi fish are beautiful additions to your pin menagerie. I did also get some amusement out of you calling them buddies since one of my friend's daughter calls all her plushies buddies too. The shiny buddies appeal to me more personally 😄
It is great to see the larger sequins being used. I have wondered what they could be used for. For some reason I see a pair of these as shoulder epaulets with a chain connecting them. Thanks.
This came out amazing! I would never have thought to cut shell sequins down so the shape fits. What a glorious idea. also, recently I was on a trip to Ireland and I saw some stunning sequin brooches in a shop, a lionfish caught my eye and I bough it.... I asked the brand and of course it was trovelore. I thought about you, of course! Anyway, I love my little fish!
Absolutely stunning!🐡🪸 I love a good brooch! It's like frosting on a plain 🎂 🥮. Sets a garment on a whole new level. Blessings on all of your endeavors!
@TheClosetHistorian When I was a child, my aunt would allow me to go through her jewelry box. She had a pheasant brooch that I loved. I would pick out a scarf and sweater to match and bring them to her so she could put them on herself. I thought they were perfect on her.
I love this. I now want to make my own goldfish broach using materials i already have. Im definitely going to make some large flat beads out of air dry clay for the fins! A new project is in the queue. Thank you for the inspiration ❤❤❤
Fire Mountain Gems have some great options for jewelry findings. While their pin back selection isn't the best, they are sort of interesting. More the circular for cameo pin shape.
Stunning work like always. I recently took a tambour/Luneville embroidery course and the final project is an aquatic animal. I chose a Moray Eel, so this provided great inspiration!
broken nails, hand with cat scratches.. i recognize myself so much in you 😅 if only dollars weren´t times 5 my currency i'd gladly support you over patreon. thx for keeping doing amazing things over here too
Stunning!! I love your beading videos everyone of your creations are beautiful! I will be sending a link to a few people I know who are starting to bead!
I am STOKED to find out what you're doing with all that water fabric and now these cute little koi! The vibes will be immaculate 🌊
Bianca is an unsung genius. Well done Bianca.
Thank you!! ❤️
A couple of odd thoughts. With this new aquatic theme, might we expect an octopus epaulet? And, given your frequent use of Blade Runner themes, I have to ask "Do electric sheep have lurex fleece?"
I've been wanting octopus epaulettes for about 8 years and I never thought of beading them 😍 Thank you for the inspiration ❤
I, too, am hoping for a gorgeous jeweled octopus.
Octopus backpack!
I think “the Dimensionality of the Fish” needs to be put on a t-shirt design! 😂
I love that design! The half shell fins are genius! It’s such a beautiful finished piece, it reminds me of Cartier’s jewellery from the thirties and forties that featured onyx and coral.
Awesome work!
Thank you! Cartier are goals, the tutti-frutti and their Egyptian revival stuff are my favorite 😍

Ive never seen shell shaped sequins before. The koi look stunning, job well done!.
Thank you!!
I love all of the textures and beading “mediums” at play. Fantastic, as usual!
Thank you Danielle!

Hi Bianca, love the new koi brooches. Siamese fighting fish would be really interesting to make for a wide variety of colour. Firemountain Gems has a wide variety of pin backs, they may have the ones you really like.
Thank you Debra! Will check out the backs situation!
Absolutely beautiful. I think we should bring brooch wearing back. Yours will be a real heirloom to be treasured ❤
Thank you! I adore brooches ❤️
they are both beautiful, but i am swoony for the smaller orange one.
Thank you!!
It’s amazing how adding just the eye immediately made the fish buddy come alive! Have you named them? They are such cute, puffy buddies!🐠😀
Thank you Penny! No names yet, but they would have to be cute Japanese names ❤️
Awesome I love your bead work insects and now fish the effect of the beads gives them a realistic look
Thank you Debra Anne!
They turned out lovely! I keep telling myself I don't need another hobby, but then I see another of your projects and 😅. Thank you, Bianca.
Thank you Tiffany! There is never enough time, I quite agree 😅
Bianca, they are both absolutely gorgeous. I just wouldn't have the patience! 😊
Thank you Jane!
The translucency is beautiful! They are so adorable they need names.
Thank you!!
Beautiful!
They always get rid of the good stuff.
You made this look so easy.
Start with the eye, then fill in the details!
The dimensionality of the fish make them look actual fish heavy.
I love these!!!!!❤
Thank you Michelle! 🎏
Absolutely brilliant. It's the first time I've seen something like this, truly inspiring.
Thank you!

As lovely as koi fish are, flying fish are the ones that own my heart and now I desperately want to start one..
These koi are FABULOUS! I've always liked koi on porcelain. Now I must have them on my clothes!!
Thank you!! 🎏 Koi everywhere ✨
Oh, how pretty and sparkling ✨️ and such dimensionality!!!! 😅
😂😂😂 oh that got me! I needed that thank you.
Bianca, I love your bug & moth brooches, but am terrified of the real life one. These fish I’m truly enjoying without my negative mind in the background!😉 you are just so talented! Loved the two koi on that fabric at the end, fish swimming in a pond!
Thank you Suzanne!
A fabulously decadent piece. And that jar of shell sequins? Delicious!
Thank you Kaytie! I first mixed the shell sequins in a big bowl and it was so satisfying stirring them around 🤩
‘Dimensionality of the Fish’ - is that Armscye Princess’ debut album? 🤣
Their poetry collection 🤣
I am suppressing the urge to make a silly koi pun. Instead I just want to say, this is lovely! The fins look so cool. Also I really enjoyed the background music you used. Very relaxing and sparkly video.
Thank you!
once again I am blown away by your creative skills and artistry! Love your koi brooch 😍
Thank you!
They are magical! You are an artist. Have you ever made a peacock one?
Thank you! I have not 🦚
I love it, please do a frog.x
Yes please!
It turned out so beautifully! I love seeing your beading projects.
Thank you Kathryn!
Absolutely adore these little koi! I think you translated the 3D nature, as seen through water, of a fish. Lovely work as always! 😌 💜
Thank you! 🎏
This music is so relaxing I love it! Combined with watching it’s the chefs kiss 💯
You create such amazing beaded pieces. What a masterpiece!
Thank you Guinevere!

It is beautiful. I greatly love how you create and show us the different stages you go through. Thank you my dear :)
Thank you!!
Amazing work, as always! I think the light gray felt is perfect, actually. If the felt backing were white, I don't think you'd see the increasing opacity of the white sequins as they overlapped one another.
Thank you! The interplay of the transparency was indeed fun ✨

Thank you Kelly! They are indeed my tiny sequin menagerie ✨
Both little and less little are lovely!
Thank you!
What a beautiful idea, so finely done. ❤
Thank you!
It is great to see the larger sequins being used. I have wondered what they could be used for. For some reason I see a pair of these as shoulder epaulets with a chain connecting them. Thanks.
Thank you! I always look at larger sequins as raw material for cut-your-own sequins 😂
This came out amazing! I would never have thought to cut shell sequins down so the shape fits. What a glorious idea.

Thank you! I am forever tempted by more Trovelore!!
Amazingly gorgeous. I almost wish I had the patience for sewing sequences.
Thank you! I'm in the middle of a much more giant sequin project, now so clearly I must be more patient than I imagine myself 😅
Love the fish brooch! Wish everything went as well as this project.
Thank you Beatrice! I do too 😂
Love your broaches ! I don't have the patience for fiddly beads but I love watching what you do with them !
Thank you!
I love the use of the shell sequins, so creative and amazingly realistic. Great job as usual.
Thank you! 🎏
Lovely. Again, another masterpiece 🎨

The koi came out so lovely.

I want to do this so bad but last thing I need is another hobby. I am doomed to watch from afar. In agony. Love the size
Good looking fins! Nice choice and very fishy. Love the jewelry making videos.
Thank you Beth!
Love the shells as fins!

Gorgeous as always Bianca.
Thank you!
Ugh you are so inspiring! Now I'm sitting here like..I need seashell sequins..I need to make a fish...
My tax forms say I'm an "influencer", for sequins mostly 😂✨
She sells shell-shaped sequins by the seashore.
Absolutely beautiful! You are quite the artist.

Absolutley incredible.

Stunning work like always. I recently took a tambour/Luneville embroidery course and the final project is an aquatic animal. I chose a Moray Eel, so this provided great inspiration!
Thank you! That sounds like a fun class! I took a tambour course making a flower at the Royal School of Needlework back in 2012 😅✨
Gorgeous! This is something I would definitely love to make, thank you so much for this! OMG, gorgeous!
