The Starting 5 will depend on Performance. You can Pen in Duren, Cade and T.Harris. the other two spots, guys need to show up and show out!! Don't sleep on Moor Jr as the starting 2 -Guard. I would say Thompson as the starting small forward.

The starting lineup should be: Cade, Ausar, Fontecchio, Harris, and Duren. This lineup gives them the size to compete with some of the better starting lineups defensively. 3 out of 5 players can shoot the three at a good to great clip. 4 out of 5 can score from 2 point range at a high clip. Cade and Ausar have incredible vision when running the break or passing in half court. This lineup would be significantly better than any other lineup they had out there last year.
Cade, Ivey, Fontecchio, Harris, Duren get it right.

@jayceoneal Thompson didn't kill the offense. There was no offense to begin with. Thompson is the best defender on the team and can guard multiple positions. If you want to win, then you need defense. Stop acting like he couldn't score. Just because he can't shoot at this moment doesn't mean he can't score. He's a playmaker, rebounder, slasher, and tremendous defender.He is one of the few players who actually cuts to the basket. Everyone else just stood around ball watching! He has unlimited energy. He needs to start. Shooting will get better in time. He needs to be on the court because no one else can play defense on a consistent basis. Now that the team has shooters, he should look even better. I bet you want a starting lineup of Stewart, Cade, Beasley, Harris, and Fontecchio because they all can shoot the three. Let's see how far that gets you, lol. We will be picking first again, rolling out your all shooting lineup.

@je9950 No, it's not sasser you backup pg if a guard is traded it ivey for big. The only way ivey. is that it's a traded is if pistons don't want to start ivey because he is not going to be a backup pg or sg on the pistons, he either starts or traded.
@@24kminds ivey makes alot of sense in the backup PG spot if him and Cade don’t figure it out. I think they’ll be fine as long as Ivey and Cade start hitting some 3’s. Spacing is everything and having guys that can shoot will allow Cade to be freed up from double teams.

@@kareemeter5350 hell no. One of the reasons Saddiq was traded was he developed bad habits. His shot selection was not very good. Ontop of that, looks like Langdon is looking for guys close to the 40% from the 3. Saddiq shot a horrible 31% this past season. Don’t think he’ll be coming back unless it’s for the cheap.
Dont these players have basketball rims in their homes? You're telling me these guys cant shoot 3 or 400 3pts a day at lesst 3 times a week and they're millionaires. And when it comes to defense thats just a matter of tou wanting to get better and improve at some point so miss me with alll this garbage anout how useless Ivey and Thompson are, i guarantee if we trade them they'll start somewhere else and all of a sudden they'll become legit stars.
Ivey and Thompson are in very different categories: Ivey is a dogshit horrible defender, while Thompson is already a really good defender.

Because he could’ve let him walk like all the other free agents. He clearly sees the value in having a player like Simone.
Because Langdon brought in vets who are actually playable that aren’t Joe Harris and an out of shape monte Morris. They can also help the players Troy brought in develop instead of leaving them out to dry. Hope this helps
@MikeyP123 - When it comes to Player Development, Pistons players are not left out to dry.
The Pistons Performance Center was built specifically for Player Development. Player Development Coaches are there 24 hours a day.
The Pistons don't use PLAYING TIME for "Development".
The major benefit?
If the coach doesn't use playing time for Development, players cannot say the Coach is guilty of FAVORITISM.
PLAYING TIME IS BASED PURELY ON PRODUCTION. This has been on the Pistons page for years.
Woodward Sports is NOT on the same page as the Pistons.
He doesn't, which also means he doesn't get blamed for the crimes of his predecessor, who was the very worst GM in the history of the sport.

I totally agree. European style of play has taken over. Don't know how overseas type play took over American style of play smh Center's 7 feet tall shooting 3's the entire game and living behind the 3point line instead of in the paint smh. My opinion.

Well how about let’s wait until the season starts before we go there. Having quality shooting veterans at the SG position is what Cade needs, Ivey needs to step up and earn his minutes this year next to Cade we can’t just give him the role. Competition makes you better not worse.
Ivey is bad, he should not start.
