He cares so much for the pain and the loss and the suffering, that he snuck into the inquiry, and ignored all the people outside who suffered the pain and the loss. That's how much he cares about any of them.
We have many committees and expensive inquiries but no civil or criminal liability which results in prosecutions. If the actions of a company board lead to deaths of customers or staff they can face that, but not the people filling their pockets with public money as ministers
The idea would be hilarious but for the damage that this sociopath has caused. Churchill himself had something of a chequered history to put it politely but the damage that Johnson has caused to the UK must have Churchill turning in his grave.
Churchill was a great believer in European unity and the concept of a European Union. He might have not approved of how it was enacted but he, like Thatcher, understood the importance of issues such as frictionless trade and cooperation. Thatcher and Churchill would be horrified at the direction the Conservative Party has taken over the past 13 years.
I would like Johnson to be asked why, in view of the first two cases in the UK being on February 12th 2020, and the fact that France, Spain and Italy had already locked down, why he allowed the super spreader event Cheltenham to take place on 13th March 2020, when the R was about 7. Bearing in mind that people attending Cheltenham would have been inside for food, stayed at hotels and bed and breakfasts, would have eaten in restaurants for the duration of the three days of Cheltenham. The consequence of his decision to allow it to go ahead, was that people returning from Cheltenham would have spread the virus nationwide, and destroyed any chance of containing the virus. I want that question answered.
In my opinion, it's because Cheltenham was for the rich. If he canned that, he'd be deeply unpopular for a few months, and he desires to be liked so much that he wouldn't want to cancel the Cheltenham races. The inquiry outlines in quite a few places, that he cares more about what the papers would say of him than making the right call. He wants to be loved too much.

The apology, as clearly disingenuous as it was didn’t last long did it? After a couple of measly phrases we were back to ‘did nothing wrong’, ‘did the best we could’ and misappropriating evidence on every front.
Guys thank you all so much for this. It is hugely cathartic to see adults characterising Johnson's behaviour as it should be, not letting him get away with acting the way he has
We won't know for quite some time just what effect this man's incapability will have and is having on the people of this country. Adults and more importantly vulnerable children will be living with the consequences of this fools antics for years to come. I couldn't put what I really think because it would be unprintable.
No. The emotion needs to be out of the questioning. They have lawyers representing them (though I admit that the lawyer Mr Weatherall representing 7000 bereaved completely wasted his 20 minutes opportunity to ask appropriate questions).
Boris was under oath and claims UK is the second most densely populated country in Europe. Ain't all of these countries in Europe... Monaco, Netherlands, Belgium, Malta, San Marino ??? They are all more densely than UK!
Johnson and his dad think there are too many of 'us' ie the useless eaters on the planet and think we need to tackle the 'population' problem. Both are Eugenicists and think uk should have between 15 - 20 million. If you take their views on us, the useless eaters, the convid jabs start to make sense. Then the open border policy makes sense in terms of the fact boris is a globalist and very much involved in the globalist 'one world' health, government etc. To achieve the 'one world' government they need to do 2 things. 1. Break down nations hence mass immigration. 2. Make folk believe their own government is incompetent etc. The illegals crossing the Channel is all planned and orchestrated by the UK WEF puppets to breakdown our nation state. The convid enquiry is designed to show our govt as incompetent. It's all been orchestrated. If you the end game, you can see the stages/events that are designed to bring us, the plebs, closer to accepting what they want to achieve. Boris is not an incompetent buffoon - he knew exactly what he was doing and he was following his master's orders.
The KC questioning BJ should call a rebuttal witness from WhatsApp tech to speak to Johnson’s vague obfuscations as to message history loss. WhatsApp’s are not lost on a phone reboot … When you change phones your messages come with you as part of your account. You have to actively delete messages
Why do you give so much attention in your opening remarks to Braverman? Our media is obsessed by who's in and who's out rather than the real issues behind these sackings/resignations and you miss the real issues which face ordinary people. Since 2016 our political and civil service systems have been paralysed by Brexit with successive administrations being unable to spend time on the real issues which has lead to the terrible state of public services
I really, really, really enjoy the fun you three so obviously have in producing these wonderful vlogs. Please do keep them coming - they are so insightful, often thought-provoking and simply a great way to end the working day.
I watched alot of Johnson and was somewhat aghast at the number of times he would say "I can't quite recall". So many others have been able to give answers in great clarity. Quite a hopeless fool.
We are very desensitized. If Johnson was the CEO of a company that caused this much death due to complete ineptitude, then "lost" records of the discussions that went on during that time, he would be put in prison for a long time. In some places he would be executed. It is bizarre to watch the reactions from the media, which are almost blase. He really should be prosecuted for manslaughter. Any layperson would be, of that there is no doubt. This is the craziness of the world we now live in. The media and the "News Agents" team need to take this much much more seriously and solemnly. This is not a chat show but a serious news program is it not? You guys are all better than this.
I don’t recall journalists, particularly BBC journalists, asking any of the searching questions they seem to be claiming should have been asked during the pandemic.
One of the main striking pieces that I heard from Johnson's opening address was "grateful, though I am to the hundreds and thousands of healthcare workers and many other public servants and people in all walks of life that helped to protect our country throughout a dreadful pandemic, I do hope that this inquiry will help to get the answers to the very difficult questions that those victims and their families are rightfully asking." Isn't Johnson is trying to direct the inquiry away from himself and his government towards the very people who were actually working in the public interest? Vile and despicable gaslighting, in my opinion.
On the "2nd highest death toll in Europe" point, the table clearly shows that we're in the middle. Mr Weatherall (lawyer representing the bereaved families) bizarrely even showed that table, with UK in the middle, and stated that it was "gold standard evidence" that only Italy did worst if we look at "comparable countries". That's a bit like saying that if we ignore all the countries that did worse than the UK, the UK did worst. But it's a red herring argument in any case. Italy did worst, in Europe, by almost every measure but that doesn't mean that Italy's government handled the pandemic the worst. There are lots of other factors at play (the co-morbidities in the population, the quality of the heathcare system, the behaviour of the population, the measurement/counting of the deaths, the availability of pre-existing experience/processes, etc.)
Re the loss of the Whatsapp messages - the technical boys discovered it was a factory reset. A lifelong journalist - an ex-mayor of London - jobs where a mobile is used and who live by a mobile and he doesn't know about what a factory reset does when its activated? No, they were never lost but erased.
...and if this was a normal civilian claiming this under oath and not a Prime Minister, would that be a matter for the police? Something is seriously wrong with the political system in the UK... and his legal being paid for by the public purse. Shameful.
A Radio presenter said every person who died from COVID may possibly have had ten people who were grieving for them, so 230,000 victims times 10 = here’s where I get stuck ? Is it two million and three hundred thousand ?
Boris is better suited to driving diggers through walls of plastic bricks, I suspect he’s all ways had people covering for him doing stuff like paperwork , meetings reading reports while he basically did stunts in fact he’s one big Stunt. He’s never done the hard graft, he’s a homework copier , a sponger and a blagger .
Was Johnson busy working on his new book on Shakespeare, a job on the side. And or writing for the Telegraphy newspaper? He needed the extra money at the time and COVID got in the way.
I think its true that internal messages of civil servants from other times would show them saying how incompetent x minister is or how terrible y is being handled. It’s like people in the private sector complaining about how incompetent management is. It’s also amplified because decisions are being made for political reasons.
The Truth, the whole truth and NOTHING LIKE the truth
He and some ministers should be behind Bars !
If you assume that the mangey philanderer is always acting in bad faith you will never misjudge him by much.
Compulsive liar lock him up

Couldn't help noticing how his attitude changed when he was questioned by a woman, talked over them, cut in and was generally belligerent?
This is the testimony of a naughty child. The lies, the whole pack of lies, and nothing but a pack of lies.
We have many committees and expensive inquiries but no civil or criminal liability which results in prosecutions. If the actions of a company board lead to deaths of customers or staff they can face that, but not the people filling their pockets with public money as ministers
Staggers me that anyone can listen to that ‘man’ and not recognise a self serving, insincere charlatan.
Watch the two tier system for these rich toffs in action. If anyone else was responsible for all those deaths. Their feet wouldn't touch the ground.
He didn't "get the big calls right"......did he?
My contempt for this odious individual is unlimited.
I’ve noticed with many of the witnesses who apologise for mistakes made that, under questioning, they justify every action they took.
Suella Braverman didn’t resign. She was sacked.
Exactly. They also referred to her letter as a resignation letter. SHE WAS SACKED. These people still can't report the facts.
You beat me to it
@@audreymcgready4329they literally said she was sacked though? It’s just called a resignation letter officially so that’s why
He got the big calls right -- the wine - sausage rolls - the party poppers 🎉

I see little difference between Johnson and Trump. Both are constantly deconstructing what 'the truth' is. It's beyond disturbing.
there is difference Johnsson is no a faschist or??
It is deeply unsettling that he seems physically unable to admit even a tiny sliver of responsebility for the death and suffering that occurred.
