As a tackle shop owner i thank you sir for your comment at the start......its not the rod that was at fault, it was the owners fault......had a few clowns say the rod was defective, but while the idiot was snagged on bottom and reefing on the rod to get free, broke the rod.......cheaper to just point the rod at the snag and walk straight back......or wrap the line around a fish rag or your coat and break the line.......better to lose a hook and sinker set up or a $3.00-$14.00 lure than break a $60.00 - $120.00 rod.......float fishermen especially.....ive seen a lot of broken 13' rods and 15' rods brought back because of human stupidity.....i will give your site to all the musky fishermen that buy the 8 foot and 10 foot one piece rods......great ideas for the sauve do it yourselvers that can sew ( i ask my wife ) 👍👍🇨🇦
Hi paul! Nice Rod bag. while I was watching. I thought of an idea instead of a red ribbon, what if you use 2 round garters at the ends and a velcro in the middle? or go full velcro on 3 pts (top / middle / bottom) ? I hope you can try it. :) Cheers, Jas From Auckland!
Great job. Sewing is another talent of yours. Nice looking rod
Kevin Roussin: Thanks pal! You just have to aim it and the machine does the rest, lol.
Looks amazing. Who ever is getting that rod sure is a lucky guy
David Roussin: LMAO, he's lucky he has a dad with connections. Come to think of it, he had a dog named Lucky. Must run in the family!
Wow like it the pattern is simple but lovely ❤
@samelliot9186: Thanks Sam! When you build custom rods it's often difficult to find well-fitting, commercially produced rod bags.

@JasperB-AIS: Thank you!
If you like Velcro closures, it would probably work. I'm not much of a Velcro guy ;)
