We also visit the World War II B-71 Radar Station and the Old Douglas Memeorial Bridge site. One of our favorite spots in the Humboldt, CA and it 's not too far off of Highway 101.

Wow. Just wow ! That intro is spectacular. I went to Humboldt 20 years ago to visit my buddy and his wife, She was attending HSU. We ate at the Samoa Cookhouse.
It is truly a magical place. What a joy it was to watch this. Cheers !❤❤❤

In 1976 during a van odyssey from Connecticut, my friend and I found an old beachside fish camp named Dad's, with a little concession stand named Ethel's. Looks like it was very near where you were, although maybe the river's outlet has moved over the decades. Ask an oldtimer about Dad's, maybe they'll have a story or two to tell you. Peace...
So much history here.... thank you so much for watching... I'll check it out... :) Dock
This will be transformed, once all the sediment deprived of the outlet returns from the river. Be fascinating to see this in 5-10 years.
For sure… every year is unique due to the tides and river flows… thank you so much for watching…. :) Dock
12:00 careful. Big waves have taken people away there.
No doubt… :) thank you so much for watching… Dock
When was this filmed?
