- In this special edition of the Hostile Tech Tuesday Takeover, we visit out paint facility in Southern California so you can see first hand how the best paint in the game is made!!!
You should be proud for keeping those jobs in the USA! I never knew, I'll never buy any other paint!
Their paint seems to be made in Mexico these days. At least the cases of Winter Formula Tournament I have. No complaints on quality though.

@@showervocalist The APX plant was the one manufacturing HK for a long time. Now HK is made in Mexico.
I like the tournament paint. Bought 25 cases and shot them over the course of 4 months. I had no complaints. I still have a couple bags laying around (6 or 7 months later) and it shoots great. Take care of your paint and it will take care of you.

I met this one dude who had so much hk mid grade and I bought 8 cases, stored it in a conditioned room and it worked fine for quite a while actually
Got back into the sport and tried some HK Supreme. Tourny grade paint at a fraction of the cost. Great work.

Those machines get cleaned right? To keep the paint consistent? It can’t be good if the paint tubes feeding into the shells get dried up. (Chem major comes out in me)

HK TAKEOVER. I’ve never shot this paint before, but it looks like the best in the world.
My local field has HK select, field, premier as their house paint. I have shot field and select (seem to be the same) both measuring in the .678-.683 range. The fill is a waxy/cornstarch-y fill reminiscent of the old PRO-BALL fill from the 90’s that leaves a paste on you after you are hit.
For field paint, I have been pleasantly surprised in the quality. Accuracy is more than adequate as is break-ability. The yellow fill is standard yellow color - not neon or fluorescent - but inline with field paint. The paint will bounce on puffy clothes or billowy jerseys, but I have observed that it breaks when you expect it to - elbows ,wrists, chest, shoulders, flabby love handles, and of course any kind of hard-ish gear.
Just as a disclaimer, I am not an HK fanboy by any means. I do not own any HK products even though I have the money to afford them. I have been playing since 1993 and have had the privilege to play top level amateur and pro ball. I have shot outstanding paint and horrible paint through the years.
I will be trying the tourney paint in the future and I expect i will be equally impressed.
I shot this paint at legends paintball it’s their high end paint and honestly it was descent paint to shoot it shot well out of my 3.5 and my lv1.5s the only time it wasn’t shooting good was when it got really humid the balls would sweat a lot idk what you guys did but keep up the good work with the paint

I saw a can of pam... is that what the balls come covered in? the oily stuff? I gotta say... the balls are great but you guys don't take pride in cleaning the factory up... quite messy in there.
Closest paint I've shot that shoots as good as the old dynasty paintballs...

i like it but you need t make the fill thicker because it ant that thick bc i used it at nxl and it was not really thick

oh btw, for you paint hoarders out there; paint shelf life should last at least a year if you take care of your paint (rotate bags/boxes, store low humidity indoors in climate-controlled area)

hk paint is great for speedball guns, but in a mag fed it breaks every other ball. it wold be nice if they made stronger paint

I’m sorry but I used this paint twice at my local field and it wasn’t great at all. Maybe it was how the field stored it but accuracy was terrible.

Paint prices are one of the main reasons the sport is not growing very fast while airsoft is becoming more popular.
The paint can't be too good if you using cooking pam for it 3:05 lol why are you using Pam for paintball
They are using Pam for lubricant on a roller on the production line most likely as all paintballs are made using food grade items.

I bought 4 cases and I still have 2 cases left that is basically useless for me, I can't use it, too brittle, I mainly use my CS2 but I even tried it in my CS1 and I cant shoot it, bad product, at least based on my experience.

To be honest HK paint sucks. Valken has better paint than HK and that says a lot.
i really want to like your brand but ya'll just have WAY to many quality control issues. right now it's just overpriced, poorly made garbage.
