Me too, I also wanted Splatoon so badly after watching the Nintendo direct for it which made me want a Wii U real badly (and I also developed my Waifuism to Marie, so I consider myself as the original Marie stan) and I spoiled myself with the bosses in Splatoon while watching UA-cam on my iPod in 2015 one night. I hope that the Yarn Yoshi and Yarn Poochy Amiibo haven't gone up in prices.
One of my favorite Yoshi games of all time. With more Yoshis than the Super Smash bros. Melee intro, there's also more Yarn Yoshis in the 3ds version of Yoshi's wooly world, they even have a yarn yoshi of Marie for crying out loud. And the music... It is SOOO good! The special course music was used in the marketing and I hear it when I think of this game. Also the Amiibo hut music is so relaxing. Another Nintendo song to put on while I'm taking a nice hot bath. It's a nice step up from Yoshi's New Island (Which really should've been called Yoshi's Island 3DS) which was... Not good.
This really needs a Switch remaster, or at least a port. And man, I wish Nintendo made Crochet Yoshi sets...you can make any one of these Yoshis in real life! I love Hot Cocoa and Cinnamon Yoshi!
Should have been ported to Switch over 3ds. I own the 3ds version and it's fun. But the visuals are so dimmed down. Like when the levels flip after walking through a door. Not for me!
I agree, this would have been better on switch. But it still is one of the best looking 3ds games. I think they only didnt ported it to switch cause Yoshi crafted world has just released last year.

I have a 3DS but not Wii U. I'll have to play the 3DS version even though the visuals are lower due to the port. Then again, I place fun over graphics but if I did have a choice between the two, I would obviously choose the Wii U version. Probably gonna get one.

But instead of throwing eggs, Yoshi can throw yarnballs that can color the platforms, pipes, Chain Chomp Balls, windmill blades, flying carpets, Boos and ghost platforms the way you want them. A magnet power badge will help collect all the sequins in harder levels, starting with the special course from World 4, I think. If I had this game for my Nintendo Switch, I want to try for myself.
