Gotta admit I find it pure cringe when 40K teams are all in their matching sports shirts. Putting the average 40K players in sportswear is like putting lipstick on a pig - you're fooling no one.
Talking about dodgy models I do wish they would find some way to bring the limo into 10th edition. Also the Jungle fighters have always been bad. Compare them to the original metal models from 2nd edition and they are just bad.
I really dislike the professionalisation of a hobby (as distinct from competitive). Yes you CAN be a pro, but it should be separate and distinct from the hobby in general. As casual player, playing once a fortnight at best, I simply can't compete with someone for whom this is their full time job. Nor do I want to. Their whole outlook on the game is different. No rule of cool, everything is math-hammer, armies are 3 colour minimum slapped on with airbrush (or paid for). I take this to Golden Demon too. Hobbyists have been completely excluded by professional artists. There should be a separate and distinct category for pros.
@@EmanueleC_BR Beautiful points as always sir! I guess it’s hard to ‘police’ if people are identified as ‘pro’ or not. It’s tough and the hobby has seen its fair share of growing pains concerning this over the years. - Russ
What is your most cursed 40k model?

Also in regards to Chaplains aren’t they originally the Emperors narks making sure the space wizards weren’t using their powers?
Haha yeah the limo needs a comeback! Yeah you’re right in regards to the Catachans we hope they get a kill team asap - Russ.
Yeah it depended on the chapter, some were absolutely Daddy E’s police but some were far more.. heretical 😈 - Russ
