Congrats Sir. I also bought a Hilux SR5 - It is a super machine when compared to a Hilux Raider. Most people don't notice the difference between the two.
Good on ya Paul, ur a Toyota Man now! Congrats mate the Lux looks great & Im sure it’ll give ya many a great travels & times to come. I checked out the SR5 last week locally and was told it was probly a 6-8 month wait atm, I was expecting more. Cheers
Well done Paul. Great looking rig and no doubt a very capable car. Thought you may have gone for a winch though. No doubt ill see you (and your new rig) on your next subscriber day. Enjoy!!
Hi Paul, enjoyed your video. I have an SR5 on order since end of November and have just learnt that it will be in the August build batch. I have an ARB order in with what you had plus front & side rails. I am keen to know if you had the GVM upgraded before it was registered. I hope you enjoy the tracks in your new rig. Cheers, Barry.
Hi Barry and cheers mate. No I didn’t have a GVM upgrade but if you are getting the upgraded rear springs tell them to licence it first. Mine failed it’s inspection by 15mm because of the 300kg constant load springs I had put in. Because the vehicle had no weight in the back it sat up to high and failed rego. They measure from the ground to the top of the B pillar. That is what one of the issues was I had in the final week it was a nightmare.
Cheers Paul. Thanks for the warning. It's on my radar to be aware of something like that. Just as, with the extra mods, on paper the weight is increasing quickly and the 950kg payload is getting used up fast. Will be doing a GVM upgrade to keep it legal. Appreciated.
Interesting its called a snorkel when it doesn't increase the wading depth... Maybe calling it a raised air intake is more accurate. Congratulations on buying reliability. Your calves thank you 😉
@@perth4b4adventures I meant the Stuart highway, since your car has speed limitation/tracking, you can bet people are driving faster than 130km on a highway where there's not much people around in other cars but you'd be stuck doing just under or exaclty 130 (not condoning of influencing speeding, just saying some cars perhaps should be speed limited 🙃)👀
Absolutely gorgeous! Worth the wait and every single penny! WELL DONE 😍😊
Thank you and yeah I’m pretty happy 😃

Safe travels in the new rig buddy.

Thanks mate and yeah unfortunately I had to draw the line at a certain dollar value and the winch didn’t make the cut. Will be the next mod though 👍
Im picking up mine tomorrow
Wandering why you not upgraded the tyres?
Lol
Just saw the end of the video 😂
Maybe check out the next video 👍
Also got mine 2 weeks ago. Had to wait 11 months for mine and when i got it I wasn't even exited.
Congratulations Paul, I guess I better get you those stickers to put on that nice shiny canopy mate. Cheers Steve
Thanks bud. By the way how’s ya memory coz you sent them to me ages ago 🤣🤣🤣
@@perth4b4adventures Im getting OLD mate lol
Congratulations, looks great. It's nice to drive a brand-new vehicle. It's a great colour. Now, bigger wheels.
Haha, I commented before you mentioned wheels. Lol
Yep already done 😬
And thank you 😊
"it's (the Jeep) taken me to some amazing places; hasn't always got me back from those places...." That's why I drive a Landcruiser.
Pretty much sums up the change 😂

Crazy you've had to wait so long man, I ordered my sr5 in march and I pick it up this Friday

Yeah certainly feel more comfortable now that’s for sure 😂
Congratulations, bet it will feel even better when its been in low range
Cheers mate and absolutely cannot wait 😁
Sweet as buddy 👍👍👍👍👍
the dad jokes are highlights
It's sounds quite !
Yep just the way I like a 4 cylinder to sound 🤣🤣🤣 coming from an LS1 cammed up commodore, unless it’s a V8 it ain’t worth hearing in my opinion 👍
Nice car, how long was the wait?
Cheers it was all in the video lol
needs wider wheel, its like macho man on a high heels
You didn’t watch it till the end did you 🤣🤣 check out the next instalment bud 👍
Do you think now you should have waited for the new V6 Ranger.
Considering I am not a Ford fan,,,,, ummmm No 🤣🤣🤣
See it's good but imagine being on the Stuart in the middle of no where stuck to 130km
I’m not sure I’m understanding what you are saying?

Oh ok, but it’s not speed limited. There is an app in the computer that tells you when your being bad but you just turn that off.
nice, but you desperately NEED new tires
I’m guessing you didn’t watch it all the way to the end 😊
Check out the next episode 👍
@@perth4b4adventures I was watching the end as I was typing, decided to make the comment anyway :P
