Actually his close enough to make that pass, track is good, karts are good not best but good for that race, his tires are warm, if someone opening door on inside like that, I would take that position in sec. In our local go kart track we are racing in every 2 weeks(Its mostly used, car tests or small 4 door championships) all of them can make second pass in first 10 laps, they raced like 5 mins, we are racing like 30 min and changing drivers to other half, this man is not that good and clearly overeacting
I think this video shows you have a lot to work on. Finding places to pass on a track, before the race, or dynamically, during the race should be something you find fun and enjoyable. It's practically what every racer lives for. If you can't have fun doing something you love, and doing it clean, I just don't see that individual having what it takes to succeed in the sport. You can be the fiercest competitor out there, and not have to show it any other way than results and sportsmanship. I look through the corners like you do on a bike at these things. half the time I'm not even looking where I'm going. I'm calculating passes that will be approaching me
Absolutely hate it when people try to fight you in a random race like that. They keep telling people that on track position doesn't matter, but for some reason some people still don't get it's about having the fastest time.
What makes you think they are trying to be “professionals” if you want to go professional you drive an ACTUAL kart on a ACTUAL asphalt track. But nonetheless some people do this as a hobby. Gain some knowledge instead of looking like a dumbass next time
Aidan Giomi in K1 Speed, you're not exactly racing. You're doing a time attack with other people on the track. No matter what position you started out or ended in, the fastest time around the track is the winner. As stated before, all the bad driver did was lose time trying to battle for position.
You will get better times out in front, instead of behind someone else that is in your line. RULE #1. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR LINE!!! If you do, it is considered a ERROR. This kid is just whining. It is funny how is got so mad and then said "it is only for fun" . Well, then why is he so butthurt?
Bryan Walters because that doesn't apply to k1 speed. They literally have a flag that tells you to move over if there is someone faster behind you. If you don't move, you're kicked.
Chase Benton it's not even a race, its weekend randoms making hot laps. Place doesn't mean shit. The entire thing is for fun and means nothing to anyone.
I don’t understand why people are getting so upset over the racing gloves. Gloves can be used for karting indoors and outdoors. They aren’t just used to keep your hands warm while racing. Inside they are used for extra grip, preventing calluses (if you race a lot), and keeping your hands dry from sweat.
Those of you saying this was good racing, watch again. The other driver deliberately gets side ways and stops causing the main drive per to stop. Needless braking. If you watch. The jerk didn't screw with the other guy that passed him
vir123456 johnson if I was you I'd brake, when you enter a corner while accelerating the weight (and thus your grip) of your kart will mostly be on your rear wheels, if you (briefly) brake, the weight will shift to your front wheels so you have more grip on your front wheels and being able to take the corner faster.
Only reason why he was getting overtaken by the end of the videos was becuase he and the guy he was trying to pass were slowed down and by the end he was driving very aggressively which messed up is pace
Having driven this track a couple of times, i will admit it can be extremely tough to pass slower cars as the track is narrow and passing zones are very small. Even more difficult when you have drivers out there who are not aware of racing lines or letting faster traffic go by. I honestly slam into people all the time (by accident) who oversteer going into that first hair pin, and if you cant get by them there, it's kinda hard to pass unless they oversteer the second hairpin on understeer the last turn before the short front strait. They're short laps ppl, like 22-23 seconds. And yes, I do dawn a nicely worn pair of red Alpinestars Karting gloves I picked up for $40 about 5 years ago to save my poor hands from bleeding and soreness for days following :)
I got T-Bone 4 times by the same person and that same person t-bone my nephew and my sister. I was hopping for a penalty black flag to come out and nothing. I had a talk with the official and I stated it's a safety concern. The official agree and they deducted -6 points at the person.
So i race at k1 religiously. you have two types of people... people who know what they’re doing and those who “arrive and drive”. I have fun as much as i can on the track and win. but when people who have no clue what they’re doing and say “i wanna win” forget they’re racing for time. not position.
He must not know that any form of racing can be aggressive I mean look at Max Verstappen he races aggressive when he battles that’s all he lost the position battle and got mad
Why do some people get caught up on the $30 gloves? It provides better grip, protection from callus, more comfort and helps keep germs/sweat away from the steering wheel.
Maybe your racing gloves were keeping you from making a clean pass.

"I was trying to win" lmao dude you dont even know the racing line😂
Looks like you got mad because you couldn’t pass him
To be fair, could've kept your cool and taken him on the outside when he spins out in that first corner and avoided any issues.
Damn. All this time and I never once thought of taking indoor recreational racing as serious as gloves and trying to heat up go-kart tires guy here. I have lived all my years completely wrong.
I honestly wear gloves because it just feels safe. I'd hate to accidentally scrape my hands on something especially since I use it for other things like dancing.
You're an idiot then. Listen to the tires. they barely have any grip at all. No shit he would warm the tires up because he's not a moron like you stupid fuck.
3:28 easy inside pass
Alisha Mendoza he wouldn’t of made any of those inside passes without ending up in a wall or spun out
He wasn’t close enough to pass him
Actually his close enough to make that pass, track is good, karts are good not best but good for that race, his tires are warm, if someone opening door on inside like that, I would take that position in sec. In our local go kart track we are racing in every 2 weeks(Its mostly used, car tests or small 4 door championships) all of them can make second pass in first 10 laps, they raced like 5 mins, we are racing like 30 min and changing drivers to other half, this man is not that good and clearly overeacting
I mean, everbody in my local area, non-pro teams, etc. They can be lap ahead of this guy in first 10 laps
I don’t think he was close enough to take those opportunities to take the inside
It sucks when people comment about things without a knowledge about clean racing.
Ikr
100% agree
Literally everyone without knowledge of racing: if I turn the wheel on the straightaway, I will go faster!
“I was trying to win” 😂😂 bro you were getting over lapped, who you trying to beat? 😂😂
Made me laugh when he got mugged by 2 others
I think this video shows you have a lot to work on. Finding places to pass on a track, before the race, or dynamically, during the race should be something you find fun and enjoyable. It's practically what every racer lives for. If you can't have fun doing something you love, and doing it clean, I just don't see that individual having what it takes to succeed in the sport. You can be the fiercest competitor out there, and not have to show it any other way than results and sportsmanship. I look through the corners like you do on a bike at these things. half the time I'm not even looking where I'm going. I'm calculating passes that will be approaching me
I mean I race for money not for fun...
Learning how to manage traffic is very rewarding.
There is a difference between trying to pass somebody who knows racing etiquette and somebody that will just punt you into a wall.
Absolutely hate it when people try to fight you in a random race like that. They keep telling people that on track position doesn't matter, but for some reason some people still don't get it's about having the fastest time.
Can someone explain why the kart was stuttering around corners?
“It’s a for fun race” coming from the the guy who got way too mad
He had a reason to be. The guy was being way to unprofessional and was really inexperienced when it comes to racing.
@@itstyypical3908 isn’t it a for fun race
@@itstyypical3908 m8 it’s indoor karting, what do you expect.
It is so funny to see amateurs trying to be "professionals"😂😂😂😂😂
What makes you think they are trying to be “professionals” if you want to go professional you drive an ACTUAL kart on a ACTUAL asphalt track. But nonetheless some people do this as a hobby. Gain some knowledge instead of looking like a dumbass next time
Even if he was 'trying to win' somehow, it would have been better for him if he just let you past. He lost so much time battling with you
there is a legion of indoor karters with just enough skill to get in the way and stay there, gotta learn your track and know when to pounce.
Aidan Giomi in K1 Speed, you're not exactly racing. You're doing a time attack with other people on the track. No matter what position you started out or ended in, the fastest time around the track is the winner. As stated before, all the bad driver did was lose time trying to battle for position.
Aidan Giomi it's against the rules plus it's about fastest lap
You will get better times out in front, instead of behind someone else that is in your line.
RULE #1. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR LINE!!! If you do, it is considered a ERROR.
This kid is just whining. It is funny how is got so mad and then said "it is only for fun" .
Well, then why is he so butthurt?
Bryan Walters because that doesn't apply to k1 speed. They literally have a flag that tells you to move over if there is someone faster behind you. If you don't move, you're kicked.
What track is that called I been to that place but elsewhere though
"I WAS TRYING TO WIN" Pretty sure he was being lapped
4:57 lmao
racing or ping pong?
Nickw is that from f1???
Lmao he couldn’t get the mclaren out of the way
BLUE FLAG BLUE FLAG
@@mightiestmelon8180 yes, seb vettel
That was crazy awesome how you maintained a steady 19mph around some of those corners.
Mike B destroyed his tyres that’s how he does it
"I'm trying to win"
- said the most unclean and worst driver of the grid
IKR my man was last and was refusing to get lapped. The most reasonable thing to say is,”I’m trying not to be last”
The only idiot drivers in indoor karts is ones who take it way too seriously..
6:01 clean save ;)
"what the fucks your problem dude?" haha
Barley saved it
@@itstyypical3908 that's why it's called a save you idiot lol
"It's just a race" then y u cussing the guy out?
+Desert Ratz Because it.. wasn't.. a race?
Chase Benton it's not even a race, its weekend randoms making hot laps. Place doesn't mean shit. The entire thing is for fun and means nothing to anyone.

Where 🤔
@@gabrielanderson6652 I think he meant at 5:30 there is a guy to the left who he cuts off
0:52 Are you like morally opposed to touching the brakes lol? You went waaaay to wide on the exit smh
If you ain't rubbing you ain't racing
Lol cool gokart racing gloves bro.
cool profile pic
I think you need a bit more downforce on the front end.
..I see what you did there
I like how the guy saying it’s a “for fun race” is the only one raging and cursing. 🤣
What’s with the grip on the steering wheel?
guy who was "trying to win" was like a whole lap behind
Those of you saying this was good racing, watch again. The other driver deliberately gets side ways and stops causing the main drive per to stop. Needless braking. If you watch. The jerk didn't screw with the other guy that passed him
John Graves You rarely need to brake in these things.
vir123456 johnson I would like to see you at my local track mate xD
vir123456 johnson if I was you I'd brake, when you enter a corner while accelerating the weight (and thus your grip) of your kart will mostly be on your rear wheels, if you (briefly) brake, the weight will shift to your front wheels so you have more grip on your front wheels and being able to take the corner faster.
Wears driving gloves and gets overtaken by everyone 😂😂😂
Shudda Fukkup 😂🤣🤣🤣
Only reason why he was getting overtaken by the end of the videos was becuase he and the guy he was trying to pass were slowed down and by the end he was driving very aggressively which messed up is pace
@@itstyypical3908 You can also see the backmarker holding everyone else up that was trying to get through.
"I'm just trying to win"
mate problem is you forgot the *winning* part
2 things:
1. Understeer galore
2. That track is lame
It’s a fun race

All I see if this video was a guy getting mad at an another guy for just trying to win
I see racing , maybe this is not for you.
rayfl502 same I watch F1 and I raced over here at K1 speed and no one was dirty
He must not know that any form of racing can be aggressive I mean look at Max Verstappen he races aggressive when he battles that’s all he lost the position battle and got mad
Yes, when I watch F1 the drivers continually crash into each other as that is totally allowed.
You know it’s serious when dude brings out the racing gloves 🤣🤣🤣🤣
When he said:I was trying to win!
I laughed so hard because he was on the last fucking place lol
I thought he was talking about him being the idiot driver. Oh wait he is talking about himself.
That type of guy that always stays on the same side of the track
dude, you're in K1, some people that go there have barely any karting experience, you don't cuss out someone just because they spun.....
Why do some people get caught up on the $30 gloves? It provides better grip, protection from callus, more comfort and helps keep germs/sweat away from the steering wheel.
Lol he was trying so hard to not let you pass 😂
You both drive like you got your driving skills from gta5
