- In this video I show you what I’m doing for Landscaping around my Intex pool. Hopefully it will give you a few ideas of what you can do and how it would look. I think Mulch and Rock are both great ideas for around the pool. But after using mulch for many years I’m giving rock a try and really loving the new look. My pool is a 18’ x 52” Intex Ultra and this pool is awesome. Please if you have any questions send me a email I’m happy to respond.

How many bags of rock did it take you? Looks great by the way!
I bought the intex over the top skimmer and I can’t get it to work. I have the exact same pool as you. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated
I have just got my Intex pool set up. I thought about rock around my pool to keep grass from getting to the edge of my pool. My concern is the rock possible puncturing the wall. Am I wondering too much?
No that’s a great question, that’s why I went with river rock because it’s smooth. As long as it’s not sharp you will be fine
Im looking into doing the same to my pool. It’s the same size as yours about how many bricks did it take to go around the pool?

I love it. It looks amazing! I really enjoy watching your videos. We are going to put up our above ground pool this summer and also want to put pebbles around it. Can you please tell me how many bags did you need to cover all area around the pool?
I appreciate that comment very much. Actually I’m still not done with all the bags if I were to estimate maybe 25 to 30 bags total. Obviously would be a lot cheaper if I could order and have it delivered but that’s not possible where I live.
Do you protector the plug in at all or is it open to the elements?
Yes, just to be on the safe side. I keep all my plugs inside of a plastic box under the deck.
Do you know where you got it? I’m looking for something big enough for the plug and seal up nice
@scfdrookie it was just a small clear plastic box that I already had in my storage shed. I drilled a hole in the side to run the cords through. I bet you could just get something at the store with the lid on it that snaps and do the same.

@scfdrookie I run it everyday 8 hrs on and 8 hrs off. That’s just me personally 👍🏼

You have any problem with rocks migrating, as they do when you have kids and animals, under the liner where they could puncture?
No, I haven’t had that issue at all. The weight of the water in the pool will not allow anything to get under it. And I added the rocks after the pool so they are just gently resting on the bottom edge.
@@LifeLessOrdinary Awesome! I am planning to push pool noodles or pip[e insullation under the liner to add a little insurance against it. The model I have has a less acute corner that I'm still concerned will get rock in the corner. The pipe insulation is the same color and should look OK-ish as a comprimise. THanks for the reply!

What type of rock did you use?
I've seen videos to use river rocks
I used River Rock from Home Depot
What happened to the last pump?
I’m keeping it in my storage as a back up. Since I got the new pool I used the new pump. But the Vevor pump is awesome and ran great all season. 👍🏼

@Haywardpowerflolx I have a few videos with other Vevor products. Pressure washer, Water Transfer pump, Power Station and A Backpack Cordless Yard Sprayer. All have been great products.
