I have a Blues 28, I may send it back though as it can’t do the things you just did!
Excellent demo of your skilful artistry.

I mean keep playing "your own" music. If music is kind of a language, there are always more skilled speakers or more artistic ones. But no one speaks like "you". With some practise and inspiration every one can find his or her own way of speaking.
I often see more skilled (technically) musicians. But i am touched by those who really have something to say...

Have you tried a Gretsch Alligator with a tone wood amp or anyone else? I'm looking to add some sustain.

      Hello there.
I definately considered to try one at one point in the past. I did not though. You need a pickup to make it work as far as i know. There is a Gretsch Alligator model fitted with a so called Fishman Nashville Biscuit Bridge pickup on the market. May be that would be the option you look for.

this sounds much better here compared to the Gretsch alligator you demo - is there really a huge difference in person? can't afford the Messer.
    Thanks! Great Stuff as usual.

      Hello
      Thanks for the comment.
I thought i had answered but it seems like not.
I liked the Alligators i had (and set up/optimised on my own) a lot. They are "an other world" in biscuit cone resonators. I guess i had a model that had and developed a good tone and it was a lucky one. Other models i tested and compared did not please me that much.
The company's developers took the old Gretsch resonator guitar specifications and put them into mass production.
In the end i am not a really more happy musician with the Michael Messer guitars but i will never regret purchasing them. They are very close to the old National resonators and i was looking for that sound, quality and so forth. Michael Messer is a real expert and a great dealer with the best custumer service i know so far. The guitars are not ecpensive but reasonable priced and i believe you will not get any better budget priced (National style) resonator guitars on the market (they cost circa the same as the Gretsch models cost) but are set up in Dave King's luthier work shop.

Hello there and a good new year. No, this is purely unplugged acoustic tone. Kind regards
