Okay…well, I don’t think that you can tell this by just one performance or actually one jump…look at Yuzu’s Lutz (in another competition) It’s the best you can find with almost no prerotation at all. Compared to other skaters he has the best technique, just like a textbook jump. And his jumps are mainly fully rotated, but everyone makes mistakes right? He wasn’t at his best at jnat 2019 so I wouldn’t make such a statement just by looking at this one performance of Yuzu and on this one event…
Not really Brian Orser technique but more like most current coaches technique. These issues are like...everywhere. Shoma, Anna, Alina, Satoko, Jun, Vincent, Evgenia, Daleman, Bradie...its everywhere from tons of different coaches.
the funny thing is that there is nothing remotely bad about that toeloop take-off. its about as normal of a take-off as you can get for a toeloop. this person is just reaching because theres literally no way.

He is only human. This was not his perfect performance, he was tired so much and even get Silver medal at Nationals 2019.
