907 Egg Sucking Leech Fly Tying Pattern for Trout and Steelhead Fishing - Ep133 PF

The 907 Leech or 907 Egg Sucking Leech (www.alaskaflyfishinggoods.com...) is a modified version of the popular Egg Sucking Leech which is a perennial favorite fly for trout and steelhead fly fishers.
My version of the 907 departs a little from the original by using a weighted brass bead rather than an opal trout bead (plastic ?).
The body is dubbed rather than using chenille and can be brushed out to bulk its profile when wet. The added bits of flash in the dubbing will give the fly a little more attractiveness as well.

Bead: Large Fl. Orange (4.8mm)
Weight: 0.035 non-lead wire
Thread: 70d black UTC 8/0
Tail: Black marabou (stripped, clipped and stacked)
Flash: Pearl Flashabou
Rib: Fine copper wire
Body: Black Laser Dubbing
Hackle: Black strung saddle hackle
