The maxi pads are a good idea. My surgeon recommended them when I had my breast reduction. So much cheaper. Glad you are doing good.

You can get cheaper sticky ace bandage from a vet supply.Vet wrap comes in bright colors and is used for horses. Same thing.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I am so worried that I will forget something. Always helps to be prepared. The doggie pee pads are useful for so many things and I have a large box I plan to use.

This is a awesome video! I'm planning on having LBL and possible arm lift before the holidays, so this was really helpful. When is came to dressing changes, did you not feel like you are getting confused what to put. From the surgical dressings, gauze, adhesive tape and ace bandages? How long did you have to do dressing changes? Are your scars clearing up? Thanks again for posting this video!

Thank you kelly! I am glad to see that you are getting better!!! One kinda gross question. Do you have the hotel take the towels that are soiled with ooze or blood or do you have to wash them yourself? If the hotel washes them are they ok with that? So glad you are making these videos! I still have some weight to loose but am looking forward to the surgery for myself!!!
    Thanks,
    Lori

I love all your creativity and forward thinking of keeping your wounds clean and dressed. Dressing surgical wounds such as yours is basically a clean technique. Using feminine products and doggy pee pads is very creative. Hope your wounds continue heal. One of the products our physicians recommend most is Bacitracin ointment vs triple antibiotic. There are also many drugs offered that are on the 3 or 4 dollar list at Walgreens, HEB, etc at least in TX and may be true in CA? Best wishes!
