Positive Grid Bias FX Mobile Acoustic Simulator/Emulator Samples & Variations

Acoustic emulator samples and variations in Bias FX Mobile. These are all played on a PRS SE Standard, coil tapped neck pickup (not piezo). I work in musical theatre pits and don’t always have space to bring more than one instrument. The acoustic sims do the trick and are fairly convincing, especially in a mix with the rest of the orchestra.

I’m not familiar with the midi commander. If it’s a midi switch, use the USB camera adapter for iOS to plug it in. There may be an iOS app to help set it up. Beyond that, I have no idea.

I need an iPhone and I have a question, you need an amp to use the app or you need nothing?. Thanks

You’ll need an interface to connect your guitar to the iPhone. You’ll also need headphones or a speaker (NOT BLUETOOTH). An amplifier isn’t required. I use Bias FX Mobile professionally in musical theatre. I monitor myself with 2 small PA systems (Kustom PA50, I run stereo). If you do use a guitar or bass amp, don’t use the amp sims in Bias as it will sound awful.

I suggest an iPhone 6s Plus. It runs Bias well and is the last iPhone with a headphone jack.

I used an electric guitar. I used the magnetic pickups. It doesn’t have a piezo.
