hi fellow rider here completing his 2A, is the bike still considered short for a 179cm guy, 95kg? Also, is that a portable at your windscreen haha and also if u dm asking, how much did u buy this new bike hahaha
im 178cm and i can comfortably flat foot this bike, and im heavier than you so I don't think you have an issue. As our height is similar, you'll definitely have a relaxed posture while riding, but I did add a riser, because i found the handlebar to be too low for my liking at stock height. i had to stretch my arms straight, so with the riser it allows my arms to bend and just overall more relaxed posture. I got it at a machine price of 15k excluding COE. If you're looking to buy new, the COE is lower as compared to when I bought it. Used 400x tends to have higher mileage as its a workhorse and people tend to use it for deliveries/touring, plus personally I'd always prefer buying new, than used. And yes its a portable, i just kinda slid it in there.
thanks for the reply! How do u find the new 400X after riding for more than a year? Especially riding to Genting(I saw your Genting video). Also, is having a pillion with this bike for prolonged periods very tiring as compared to your 190X?
@@pitpomitangSS its been a year and 3 months and i still love this bike dearly. The bike had no trouble going through twisties and bends of Genting. I played between Gear 2-3 to make my way up. Ideally more power would be nice but bikes with more power tend to be heavy, and not so nimble, not to mention the cost. I bought the bike to fit my needs which is 99% riding in SG so whenever I travel up North i just make do with what I have and that suffice for me. Cruising at 120km/h - 130km/h is the sweet spot. I have had pillions on this bike before, but riding within SG only. I can;t find anything qualms about it from a rider's POV. Usually i ride below 90 and 2nd lane if i have a pillion but there's still enough power left should I want to overtake and maintain above speed limit. The 190x....to maintain at 90km/h with a pillion, its already screaming for help la bro HAHA. Definitely not tiring on the 400x
