Well guys the property just closed 3 weeks ago in Hawaiian beaches, so awesome you're not only raising a fantastic crop but the little one you brought into this world is growing fantastically❤ soon we will inquire about the top 10 plantings although only a quarter acre planning is essential, Take care guys ❤Paul n Jill
I tried a lot agroforestry techniques when I started but eventually found most fruit trees not really thriving from being shaded out. Surprise, they like sun! I try to limit their shade protection to the first year. Good on you for not being afraid to bring in county mulch. It's an amazing resource. Trying to grow all your own mulch is just shooting yourself in the foot.
Yeah things get out of hand pretty quickly and trees are in more shade then they can handle. We just started filming the next update on this project. Stay tuned should be out with in the next week. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The only reason I can think of why I wouldn't watch your vids is........ because I immediately get the gardening itch 30 seconds in and start thinking of everything I want to do in my small patch. Thankfully it's usually the evening that I watch them so I get to dream of what I'll do the next day. Thanks for inspiration.
I like how you are adapting to your personal needs and not being so purist. We have some principles to follow but should be able to adapt, like nature does. Thanks for showing that some things don't work for everyone.
Thanks for the comment! I did want to add but forgot, that there’s nothing wrong with being a purist and that I really respect people doing it that way. I just did what I had to do to get back on track. Hopefully in the future we will use less imports.
Thx so much for these updated videos, my bananas the last year have started turning yellow on underdeveloped bunches. Is that a sign of pollination problem or low nutrients?

Another great video.
That little guy of yours is going to know how to garden even before he realizes what gardening is, cheers.
Can’t wait for him to teach US! 🌱💚✨

@@OffGridHawaii agree with everything you are saying, and you needed those imports to get the system going and faster.
Absolutely sigma
Thanks Countar! Great to see gen z enjoying our content 😊
I saw some pellets at the base of one tree at the beginning of video what was that made of ?
That is nutri-rich pelletized chicken manure
Nice! Loved the Rollinias and Jackfruit by the way. Can you be our official Jackfruit dealer at least until ours come in?
Also I never thought to clear out some of the bananas for biomass. Good idea 😎
Definitely! We got plenty more jackfruit 🤙🏾
Gracias
De nada 🤙🏾✨
What about Mexican sunflowers as mulch ? Wouldn’t that “roll off” without penetration as with regular mulch? It was your recommendation !
Mexican sunflower leaves disappear pretty quick but if you want to make sure you aren’t drying out the soil you can use them after it rains a lot.

Probably the nutrients 🍌 we use nutrient-rich chicken manure and mulch on ours to keep them happy.
Like this video if you like it 😁
Looks a little like a John deer ad.
Live the videos though!
Lol. I wish we had a John Deere sponsorship!!
Bro why you gotta show off your fancy tractor show much like that!? 😂👍
Because it’s sexy 😂✨🤙🏾
