Great video. Néxt time you have so many green bananas, harvest the oldest ones to eat green. Also you can dehydrate the bananas for chips, and freeze them too. Green bananas can be fried, or boiled and eaten as a carb, like potatoes etc. Taste delicious.
In Australia (where I live) there are 2 grocery chains that take up over 65% of the industry and pretty much have a duopoly across the country so they price gouge the hell out of people (one is currently in the middle of a strike for worker pay raises so it doesn’t even pay its employees well with its hoard of wealth)Bc of this the idea of growing my own food has become more and more appealing. I love these kinds of videos.
such a sad aspect of the world we live in where food is becoming a commodity based on wealth. I wish you all the success in your efforts to get better control of the food in your life!
Aloha I was wondering if the chickens are loud in the early morning? I would like to have some laying hens but wouldn’t want to get woken up by them. I was thinking that the roosters are the loudest but was just wondering what your experience is. Mahalo
roosters are definitely louder at the worst of times. Hens usually do a little louder clucking around 8-10am, but after that they are pretty quiet for the most part.
I am not, we use our chicken eggs, and sometimes butcher our own chickens. We really just want to have control of our meat source so we know how they were treated and that the quality isn't compromised with chemicals from a corporation 😊
