Should you use Void in 2024? (The Current State of Void) | Destiny 2 Design Analysis

- For the next few weeks, I'll be taking a deeper look at each of the subclasses available in Destiny 2 to see where each one sits in the meta. This week we are looking at Void. For veteran players, this is a great recap of what makes Void good, and what it might be lacking. For new or newly returning players, this video is a guide for whether or not it is worth picking up the Void subclass for yourself going into The Final Shape. I'll be discussing PvE, PvP, exotic armor support, and I'll be going over each class (Hunter, Warlock, and Titan) individually. Finally, I'll give my recommendations and a selection of builds that you can use right now.

Born to nova, forced to well
Hopefully not for long, supposedly well is getting nerfed in final shape
@@davidschruhl5628 strand warlock's gonna be up!! i really hope they give arc warlock some love too, arc souls are nice but i get flamed if i bring it to a GM
@Hwachaaah When you're the LFG leader you can run whatever you want. I carried a lot of newer through GMs by simply running The Stag and Voidwalker. We took a bit longer to get it done but I kept them alive most of the time. You can't get those Double Drops if your team wipes and everyone deserves Adept weapons.
@@davidschruhl5628
well gettign nerfed isnt a good thing unless they plan to rebalcne every encounter in the game becuase as is they are designed for it, and because bungie only use clowncar add spawns, trash ahving more health than a boss, and every enemy can one shot you, the nef is going to make the game miserable even more miserable than never play anyhting but solar as a warlock
@@Snowshill I don't know about that. I have been able to do raids without well warlocks. Havent done crota yet. But Bungie should make adjustments so that it is not necessary.
Void needs more ways of activating its champion debuffs. I can understand volatile rounds being limited but I only see suppression grenades as the only way to suppress
Titans Shield Bash and Hunter Tether. Warlocks are shafted but ig focus Devour to spam Supression nades. But if you REALLY want suppression just use Wavesplitter or Tractor Cannon.
They should change quicksilver storms grenade launcher mode to match your subclass which ever you’re using to keep a steady flow with builds
True, Titan is the only subclass that has intrinsic suppress (except for hunter Tether) and definitely the hardest of all the ways to stun champions. Stasis has many problems, but it’s incredible for champions because basically all your abilities stun champions. It’s always fun to stun lock unstops and overloads with Black Watcher
@@muk3558 That's basically the new exotic Tessellation
@@anthonysoliven7977 sheesh really, neato thanks for the info
I’m a Titan main, and even though you can get overshields in multiple ways, they are just too weak. Woven mail is outright better in every way. They need a huge buff.
Even with the damage resist it grants it hurts to get smacked by one or two shots to instantly have it gone, as opposed to woven that lasts the whole duration regardless of damage taken
***IN PVE ONLY
I feel like you forgot the most important part.
Yup overshield sucks in pve
It's gives you 90hp
(45 hp barrier with 50% dr)
With no way to regenerate the barrier
@@SlongestKongestyou can sit behind a barricade with bastion to regen but thats it really, edge of action should give blessing of light
Yeah it definitely hurts when it gets deleted instantly especially since not having an overshield just completely turns off any build you had going
Kinda sad how Titan got balance around Heart of Immost Light and when the thing was nerf, almost half of the subclass went out with it. Both Void and Arc Titans are underwhelming rn in PvE and Stasis is only keeping up because of seasonal artifact mod
HoIL was very much broken and needed the nerf. It’s still very viable and usable, you just have to think about how you use it. Part of the reason it was broken was it was a universal exotic and bungies been trying to buff / make exotics for specific things to build around. I will say arc and void titans only feel underwhelming rn because of season mods. Solar is just so good it beats other classes at the moment but when these mods go away, it will get dialed back. Stasis is just plain terrible, except for onslaught which even then isn’t the best but very fun in it. Strand is in a similar position to how HoIL was, it’s incredibly broken and WILL be getting a nerf. It’s just a matter of when, just like how starfire was. Bungies letting us have fun with it before they nerf it into the ground. I will say having used both arc and void, they are still very much viable and usable. It’s just not broken like solar or strand atm.
Oh brother, as long as you're not needing to get overhealed every 2 seconds, arc titan is chefs kiss for nightfalls.
Slap pulse grenades with armamentariun, spark of shock, and touch of thunder, you're becoming the bane of champions (overload specially) .
Same with stasis, I might prefer hoarfrost to use duskfields and keep having crystals, but It's the same concept: OP your grenades and make them cooldown quick, you're the bane of champions.
Could you do arc next. I feel like arc can also lack on titans as it feels like in PVE we have 1 aspect being touch of thunder. Juggernaut was built for pvp but still falls short of void titan in pvp. Knockout seems to lack in comparison to something like banner of war or roaring flames. The supers feel week and the whole thing has been riddled with nerfs. Amplified doesnt seem to offer enough when it could be a highly varied buff based on fragments.
I think covering the weaker subclasses before moving on to the overtuned ones could be fun. Mainly solar and strand.
You can turn your pulse grenades to the ultimate tool to takedown champions and add clear, while having them back fast.
Yet the last it got love was when arc 3.0 went live, of course something else might do better.
Yet if you ask me, I've discovered this setup because nothing else was suiting my needs (champ mods suck this season ): )
one thing i want to point out is that voidwalkers are extremely diffrent to their peers where sentinels and nightstalkers offer teamplay and provide support with the buffs they specialize in overshields and invis. voidwalkers are entirely selfish with devour the buff they specialize in only really affecting them
Ill add on this in pve content solo i prefer void over any other subclass for warlock. Voidwalker solo is very potent since all its abilities and synergies are selfish. Also even though briarbands is strong. I still prefer contraverse hold even after the nerf. Note: this is only is solo play not group.
@@paulb4480 I agree for most of my solo playthrough I use void lock with nezys and I still use it in a team setting mainly because it’s my favorite way to play the game
@@TheFrozen_Aba nezzy is such a great exotic you dont even need to be void to take advantage of it. Im a huge contraverse hold fan simply because you dont need kills to get the benefits but i realize its not necessarily the most optimal for void. But it really helps in harder solo content when you need the boost against mini solo bosses and champions
@@paulb4480 meh it was my first real build so I have a soft spot for it
Void titan has always had a soft spot in my heart. I love the tank power fantasy and being this unstoppable juggernaut stomping around throwing shields and causing chain explosions appeals to me.
Doom Fangs and Second Chance are super fun exotics and ones I use the most. It's also super fun for Onslaught!
I just wish there was easier access to Volatile rounds, I think the issue lies in hit based procs vs kill based. In GMs you may not be getting a kill necessarily which makes the volatile rounds fragment hard to keep up, unlike the solar fragment where you just need a powered melee hit to get radiant.
You’ve got so many ways to get radiant, and it’s a 25% damage bonus for doing basically nothing and can be refreshed on kill with a fragment, just give us volatile flow as a fragment and it’ll be fine, maybe I’m not using it right but volatile rounds don’t really feel all that powerful compared to other options
@@xNeoNxCyaNbut that wouldn't be that much better you need a orb
And orb comes from kills
Imo change the current mod to proc on gernade hit and nerf it to a 7 second cooldown rather then 10
And make a new fragment that also gives access to viotile as only have 1 sucks
viotile flow coming back as a new fragment would make sense here by making the timer 10nsec
But if this was the only way get viotile the issue would remain
@@SlongestKongest orbs are quite easy to make now, so if we had a fragment that was just volatile flow, and made the timer 5 seconds but can stack on orb pick up up to 10-15 seconds it would be perfect
Volatile just lacks that same impact like Jolt/Volt or Scorch/Erupt does. It's hard to proc, and even when it does it's barely a difference. Volatile needs to cause more damage, and spread more easily across enemies.
Imagine if instead volatile took large chunks off of an enemy to make it worth enough to inflict, and then have that burst be able to make other's volatile and weakened. Not only does that make it great for DPS, it means its actually not useless against groups
Heck, even having it so volatile were stunned like blindness would be enough of a reason to want it.
@@ShadowC14 volatile got nerfed it used to be stupid good
Born to blade barrage, forced to tether.
Been feeling like this rn since grinding onslaught as a hunter, you're expected to use tether for more orbs. But I find blade barrage fun and solar subclass synergies well with my current favorite weapon, which is the summoner with heal clip and Inca.
I play blade barrage or golden gun exclusively in onslaught. I usually play void or arc hunter but I find the solar subclass to be way better for onslaught. Radiant refreshing my knife trick and letting me add-clear for free, letting me bring a different primary (like a sidearm for barriers or polaris lance for dps and radiant refresh). Blade barrage or golden gun letting me delete a demolitionist, skybomber or problem wave on the ADU. Heal grenade is nice and comes in clutch too.
I've come back to D2 after a few years absence and it's insane how elitist the community has become. Just play what you want to play and if they don't like it, you're in the wrong group. I was yelled at for my pantheon loadout and threatened with a kick but out damaged everyone by 2 mil. In my experience, people who focus on what you're bringing really suck at the game and are looking for someone else to blame.
As a Warlock.. Welcome to the club. There's a reason most of us want them to nerf Well to the point where people won't ask us to constantly run it
You're being dramatic. Just like the warlocks complaining about being forced to well. Are those supers extremely useful in the content they're talked about in? Yes but do you specifically ALWAYS have to swap to it or you wipe or get kicked? No. If you don't wanna be the tether hunter or we'll lock either build your own team with your own post and look for those supers or pull your weight by building your favorite subclass to be so useful that people have no room to try and force you to swap. Void warlock has plenty of exotic options to have high uptime on abilities for defensive and offensive purposes and so does solar hunter especially ones built around super regeneration and ignition spam. Stop making excuses and solve your problems instead of screaming into the void that you can't play your favorite subclass.
The “Doom Fang” Build Bulwark, Controlled Demolition with Weakened Grenades, Melee gives you back grenade energy, and mods to support those two things works wonders in legend onslaught. But Yea other than Titan all I see is Strand or Solar Titans
That's the same with warlock except remove strand and all you got is warlocks running solar
Imo resto is just way to strong and d2 was built with constant health regen its just way to strong
@@SlongestKongestnah keep strand locks. The level of ad clear they can provide is insanely strong for High End content like GMs and Legend Onslaught, and they have access to one of the best DPS rotations in the game for raid bosses. (You only need 2-3 wells, anymore is a waste)
@@spartacus6256 that's true but if you're wanting more damage hunter is better in every way.
Excellent, clear, and well thought out videos keep me coming back…great work!
Thank you!
So well done and edited!! Great video. Im in love with my void briarbond build. Paired it with Levi breath but i wish deathbringer was more viable.
I’m looking forward to my void battle axes
I keep a picture of d1 helm of saint 14 next to my bed so i can always relive when we were useful
We still can be make it so helm of saint-14 lets us shoot out of the bubble in pve, or give it a higher damage bonus than well because you don’t get the healing well does
@@xNeoNxCyaNthat would make it necessary if the dmg bonus was higher it would be the new well and that sucks.
Imo the shoot through or maybe the bubble last longer in pve would be a good buff aswell as giving it a neutral effect such as suppression kills give you bonus super energy.
@@SlongestKongest that’s fair and I can see why other people wouldn’t like that, I’ve been a bubble titan since D1 so I wouldn’t mind, but I wouldn’t want other titans to feel the need to have to play bubble
@@xNeoNxCyaNwhy should warlock be forced to play a single useful super but not titan?
@@PurpleShadow108 never said they should, all I said was I wouldn’t mind being stuck using bubble because it’s a super I like
Would love to see more in this series!
Keep your eyes peeled on Wednesday! 👀
I felt that there should be a part 2 to this video, for specifically Titan workarounds on void as it is so difficult to get a good sync for void titan without thinking about how to do extra work just to be adequate.
I question the state of stasis and bam, there is your video. I start questioning void and bam here you are again. Thank you for bringing attention to these things lol.
As a hunter main I would love to see quiver and spectral blades joined into one super similar to bladefury. If you removed the debuf portion from quiver and swapped it with the spectral invis attack I think it would make that option very dynamic and useful in both ove and pvp without infringing on deadfall’s niche of zonal lockdown
I always had the power fantasy of wielding blades that can turn into a bow so maybe rework blades to have a bow combination mode
let’s gooo :) always happy to see your vids pop up! 💖
I said it before I’ll say it again: WELL RUINED WARLOCKS!!! We not aloud to play anything else if we aren’t the only warlock, which happens a lot. While I’ve accepted this, and starfire protocol plus witherhoard has made it bearable, I still feel like they need to buff warlock’s damage on nova bomb and other supers. Because it feels like above any other class, if your a warlock your running well, no choice in the matter
Everyone says self res is broken but well of radiance is mandatory in most parts of the game
A indepth overview video for each subclass!? Good sir you have a New Sub so I won't miss a single detail.
Some of the craziest moments I've ever had were on voidlock. Nothing manacles and weakening grenades are absolutely overpowered. But as others have said voidlock relies a bit more on gunplay than ability span like solar.
My dude, they are not overpowered. I've been a nothing manacles enjoyer since house of wolves way back. I know what they are capable of. In d2 they are just not it, inconsiderate, lower damage compared to d1. In anything above base level content it falls off
@@avathetrashpanda5322 I've had crazy success with some of the worst exotics in the game. It all comes down to play style. I've cleared rooms full of high level ads in the coil with nothing manacles as well as Tommy's with wings of sacred dawn. It all depends on how you utilize your exotics.
I'm not saying they can't get the job done, because I use them regularly in most content. but they fall off heavily when doing anything above legend content. most of voidwalkers kit is so powercrept that theres hardly anything it can do that any subclass can't do better. its disheartening to know that my favorite build from d1 is one of the weakest in d2
@@avathetrashpanda5322 that is true when I want to get something to get something done quickly I use solar or arc but I can usually get just about anything done with void. The only thing I haven't done with void is a raid because I haven't done any raids.
@@avathetrashpanda5322hi, im a current nothing Manacle enjoyer, Been using it to run 3 aspects and building it for weakening and volitile procing. Normally I’ll start combat with a throw in a crowd of red and/or orange bars, giving me devour and volitile rounds, at times I’ll reposition and place the rift down getting my void bud and getting a nice weaken area, if my volitile wore off and I need help, I’ll throw another grenade, btw the ability recharge rate is amazing, you’ll get your first grenade back before you even thought to use your second grenade.
It’s a nasty fun build I used in both Legend Campaigns and some high end pve (when I’m allowed to run anything other than well
I've found some success with Severance Enclosure, Vexcalibur and Controlled Demolition on Titan. It's a bit clunky to have to switch off of Vexcalibur to use the melee, but it has great survivability thanks to the constant Vexcalibur shields and overshields and crowd control thanks to the knockback and radius of Severance Enclosure
My void Warlock has amazing add clear with feed the void and chaos accelerat.. Echo of expulsion, undermining, instability, and persistence. Void primary and heavy with nezaracs sin. Constant ability spam
Can't believe this popped up on the same day I realized my void build I've been using since 3.0 dropped may not be enough
The Twilight Arsenal coming in Final Shape adds to the support fantasy - hurling void axes you and your team can use
Contraverse Hold is still one of my favourites. You just throw the grenade that weakens into some enemies, get devour and crowd control. You don't really need to run anything which is what I love so much. Void doesn't NEED more to work at a very high performance. But you can still enhance if you want.
Void Overshield needs a hefty buff in PvE. I love running no backup plans, as with conditional in PvE is insane, but other than that it's really mid
I've always main'd warlock void since D1, it just fits my preference regardless of the meta. Dont get me wrong, I flip flop between the other subclasses depending on the season or gamemode, but I always just prefer void for PVE and especially in PVP. The only times I probably split from that for higher end gamemodes is when I run Solar bc I need to shift from prioritizing myself n instead run support bc the rest of the squad is struggling to stay alive
I really enjoyed this video and appreciated your commentary and deep dive. I do however wish the gameplay footage was more relevant to what you were talking about. Looking forward to the rest of the series! (PS don’t cover stasis because it’s being changed in TFS and there may be a developer update before that)
I was thinking about that after I uploaded it! I was a bit tight for recording time so I had to make do haha. I put out a stasis "state of" video a few months ago anyway, so I'll be skipping it this time around!
Devour warlock, contraverse with vortex grenade and volotile rounds has been one of my fav loadouts forever. I have it on pretty much all the time unless I'm fighting a boss in a raid or gm. Its honestly really good in some dungeon encounters when your soloing it. But obviously falls flat when you need to deal with a boss.
as a returning player this is what I need. Though I've kind of sussed out it's berserker in pve and sentinel in pvp for titan
I like Precious Scars+ devour+ Vexcalibur and Hammerhead on titan in Onslaught, I really just wish things like volatile and unravel straight up stunned barriers because those “elemental round verbs” are so rare to be able to break a barrier
You are right void titan doesn't have burst supers, but the roaming banner shield offers not only the best damage buff in the game, higher than well, but with doomfang pauldrons you can have the longest roaming super in the game. I've done level 50 legend onslaught clears with this build and it carried me in the third encounter of day 1 Vow of the disciple.
Well and Bubble offers the same damage buff, it got changed with Witch Queen
@@KaioButStupid I know thats why my comment says the roaming banner shield, that remains a higher buff than well.
@@krisdzeel6408 my fault, I misread your comment
Doesn't orpheus rig moebius hunter still do decent damage with their super? I remember that being the play for vow.
I feel like volatile rounds could use an up time buff or some sort of better way to sustain it, I’d also like to see overshield return to its D1 glory days in pve, especially with how survivable strand and solar are, and while we’re at it, buff destabilizing rounds, like a radius buff would be fantastic
Void warlock is hands down my fav class but damn man I feel like I just need to use strand titan to get through crazy content smh
As a long time void Titan main (PvE) who loves to play it in a very defensive and supportive role, I really really hope it gets some love and buffs to that playstyle. As well as hoping that whatever rework they have coming for Ward of Dawn won’t completely ruin the support play style.
Also Void Titan really needs some exotics to fit a supportive role badly
My play style is similar to yours, but I am using the Edge of Action exotic glaives pair with helm of saint 14, I am just so sad to see bungie nerfed my glaive when there are literally no people using this weapon
I know that Strand is probably one of the more powerful subclasses (i.e. Berserkers for PvE and Threadrunners for PvP) but I really want to see your take on Broodweaver (cause it is my main in both)
I hate how devour has a 3 second delay before you get the health regen.
Im speculating that Void will be part of the Final Shape artifact (alongside Prismatic and maybe stasis) and will probably be really strong especially in a post well nerf world
Berserker has easier access to the much stronger woven mail than Sentinel has to void overshields. Why use void when strand is better? Not for crazy banner titan one-two punch DPS, but even just with the things Sentinel is supposed to be good at, i.e Survivability (banner of war + woven mail is much easier to activate and abuse than devour, controlled demolitionist healing and overshields) and crowd control (drengyr's lash just does it better than controlled demo with the added benefit of giving woven mail with abeyant leap and genrating orbs and class ability energy with the right fraggments). I love void titan, so it's a shame that there's hardly anything to work with that isn't done better elsewhere.
Hopefully the new fragment coming with the final shape does something to shake up void titan in PvE.
Offensive bulwark needs to stay active after overshields are down, no point in rushing down an enemy only for them to break your os and remove your melee buff. I’d really love seperate timers for over shield and bulwark(melee damage buff only, no grenade recharge without os)
Void hunter is forever my favorite subclass even in a voidless artifact, bloodlines falcon hunter goes hard
Void warlock with contraverse and chaos accelerant is still lots of fun
You forgot to mention ursa furiosa for void titan. Honestly, I love this exotic in GMs. You provide the best damage buff, you crap out orbs, you get half your orbs back, and you can't die like a well can.
I've been running an Ursa Furiosa build in Onslaught and while it is really fun and satisfying, it does get insanely outclassed by strand/solar. It's really odd how easy it is to trigger woven mail and restoration but not overshields - even when my build should *hypothetically* have a high uptime with overshields, it's just too finicky to be consistent. I even have more survivability on my Stasis Titan because of the shards. Void Titan in general is just really weird tbh, it's very centred around defence but overshields are infinitely worse than flat healing and woven mail, and bubble is just a worse well. I have hopes for the new super and aspect coming in Final Shape to revitalise void but right now it's tough. I also hope that one day bubble titan will make a comeback in PvE, that was my jam in Destiny 1
Honestly for playing void titan I just run around with Monte Carlo and spray till I get a shield charge and yeet it as soon as
Buddy, 1, the Ward of Dawn has been nerfed so much in PvP that single guardians can beat it with a slide-shotgun-melee; 2, Ward of Dawn does not lead to kills like other supers do so it ain't all that. If a Titan places it in the wrong area, ignoring it the best amd easiest play. Ward of Dawn only has potential in control-like game modes; 3, it is not the best subclass for PvP by a country mile. Sure, it's good, but Striker Titans exist and they rule unchallenged simply because of their mobility and free healing from knockout.
Oh and let's not forget that void Hunters literally have cheat abilities. There are companies that actually sell Hunter abilities as cheats. Invis and Wall Hacks make fighting them totally unfair. The only reason people don't complain more about them is because two thirds of the player base play Hunter.
I just want 1 shot mini nova bombs again. Warlocks are the only class with no one shot melee ability
I personally really like the second chances for void titan, pair it with Monte Carlo and you’ll be spamming anti barrier, volatile proccing, decent damage, shield throws for as long as you like. It’s a lot of fun, and I think this exotic in particular is really slept on
i think they should buff it where it can give you melee energy back if you have like an overshield or something so youre not dependent on monte carlo and can use diffrent exotics
If you have a Well teammate, a void Hunter & void ‘lock is ideal. Call it Orb Country.
Honestly, if I could change one thing about the void subclasses, I'd rework Echo of Provision and Exchange to not just be fragment versions of Impact Induction and Momentum Transfer. I understand why they did it on Void 3.0 release, but now that we have destabilizing rounds and repulsor brace is actually good, I think it's a bit too bland and doesn't feel good.
Personally, I'd like them to take a page off of Stasis/Solar and make it so volatile explosions give melee energy, and killing weakened enemies gives grenade energy. Since Titan doesn't really have a good way to weaken enemies consistently, I think it'd help Hunter and Warlock more reliably apply volatile via Instability, and it'd help titans more consistently gain overshield as controlled demo would make the uptime on their melee much higher.
I love how bungie’s solution to buffing feed the void was just to nerf devour on other classes into the ground
Void Hunter requires you to use either Gyrfalcon to make it viable on endgame content without feeling like you are holding yourself from the full potential of the subclass.
You forgot about contraverse hold/micro nova build
I really hope they change the hunter aspects and chaos accelerant
The whole sentinel state is why i rabidly hate the shared sandbox with pvp.
Unless bungie pulls all stops or gives sentinel/void as a whole a MASSIVE rework, sentinel will remain weak until the unforeseen future. God forbid the overshield subclass actually give acessible and usable overshields for their fireteam.
Happened for a little while once 3.0 dropped, and people were MAD they couldn't just one-tap shielded guardians (which is kind of the point, but you can't really win against sweats). And don't even get me started on Bubble's relationship with Well... "Look at how they massacred my boy..."
If your reading this fellow warlocks
Mantel of battle + void + void weapon I like graviton+ bait and switch envious edge Transit = cook everything
I love void, but I'd wish there would be an additional melee option for warlocks.
Not a big fan of the single slow orb...
I may be just a Behemoth Man, but I honestly understand why Void Titan suffers so much.
Maybe they have more problems than just Overshields, but Overshields are so weak in PVE, but really good in PVP. Unless Overshields are being constantly applied 24/7, they're gonna get peeled off so fast that it won't be funny. But if you wanted that experience, play Solar ANYTHING instead.
So I am of the belief that says "Make Heir Apparent the standard for Overshield values". Heir Apparent and Vexcalibur are the only cases where Overshields were done right.
I will always resent what well took from bubble titan
I disagree with void warlocks in pve for ad clear, maybe its just bias but when I or others use solar we don't match what I usually achieve with charged up void grenades that i can spam at least once every 10 seconds, usually every 5-6, sometimes 3-5 not just damaging and causing chain detonation but pulling all enemies together which indirectly assists incandescent/ignition builds but then weakening those ads tooi5s allowed me to cause chain explosions in higher end pvp too.
That's just my 2 cents; but if people say it needs buffing then I will gladly jump on that train
The big thing i diagree with here is that Gyrfalcons is only good in lower tier content. I bring it into GMs all the time and it completely shreds ads while keeping me alive with constant invis. I call it the selfish void build because it really only benefits me, but its so much more fun than Omnis imo. Great video though, very comprehensive and informative.
You're right! I didn't mean to make it sound like Gyrfalcon's was only good in lower difficulties; I meant it was better than Omni at that difficulty. I agree Gyrfalcon's is a great choice for endgame as well!
How did you have unstoppable fusion? Is this video not from the current season?
Yep, that particular video clip was older! I think you are the first person who noticed haha! I was low on time so I grabbed some footage I had on my computer already. Most of the footage I use though is the current season
@@RazekiYT all good! Was just wanting to make sure I hadn’t gone senile and missed an unstoppable fusion mod this season lol
take my sub :D
Bubble isnt as broken in PvP as you make it out to be. its countered by Stasis, Witherhoard and conditional Finality. Void Warlocks can melee them right out of the bubble as can a charging Titan melee. The overshield is strong but it is more of a nuisance, it basically means one more burst or bullet.
Hopes new void arsenal super will do something decent.
purple explosion makes brain go brrrrrrrr
I’m a Titan main and I play all three classes and the more I play warlock the more I feel like titans are in the worst play for a lot of there subclasses due to not many exotics that function like crown of tempests or Nazarecs sin.
Titan should have a passive that increases Overshield health, and whilst having one, improves weapon reload speed and handling; just like it used to be before 3.0
Also, bubble has been insanely nerfed, it isn't the "indestructible dome" it says in the description, and armor of light is too weak after the nerfs
Alsoooo, all void exotics are trash aside from Second Chance; no backup plans got a horrendous rework when it was great before, and let's not talk about how power crept and horrible Sentinel Shield is...
At this point just remove it and replace it with a new super that actually helps the team
any time I hear someone talk about warlock subclasses I feel like that simpsons episode "say the line video... solar is just better" I'm honestly starting to get tired of playing solar, but it's just too effective at what it does
Weren’t void titans nerfed to the ground a while back
For the name to be void, Walker, you don’t do much walking in the void. You throw a spirit bomb or go boom a couple times.
I think the supers could use some love, maybe better damage, especially for the mobile supers, they are fun to use but weak atm
Arc next please
Void Hunter is arguably the best class in the game
Gyrfalcon Hunter until the end. Ros Arago and Graviton Lance make purple go BRRRRRRRRR.
not mentioning contraverse holds is insane
Omi super over rated in PvE, damage resist it gives you is useless, I think graviton forfeit is better for chaining invis and being a res bot in GM’s
The Biggest problem with the warlock and titan void class is that supers suck
Nova just doesn’t hit hard as other damage supers like needle storm and nova can get shot mid air by bosses
Titan void supers at the moment have no place in game at all either need major buffs or rework them
I feel like void is one of the most balanced subclasses in the game. It’s not the best option available, but it’s also not the worst option available. It has powerful effects to toy around with and strong buffs to help you stay alive. There are just some subclasses that are just too good to pass up…cough cough solar in general and strand titan. If solar was ever brought down collectively void would be a lot better option
Put on the Horns. Never take them off
First video of yours I’ve seen. I disagree with the conclusion. The format and presentation were very good. I like the pacing as well.
The short answer?
Buried Bloodline. That’s it

*CONTRAVERSE HOLD?* which arguably is the best warlock void exotic in pve... c'mon man. Lol
MAKE HELM OF SAINT-14 ABLE TO SHOOT THROUGH THE WARD OF DAWN + GIVE OVERSHIELD WITH THE NEW UNBREAKABLE ASPECT!!!
thank you for your attention
I'm a void titan & there have been countless times I've been clowned on my random fire team (usually by Hunters) about not doing enough DPS😂 somehow everyone forgets I'm the reason you're alive to even DPS the boss in the first place🤦 if it wasn't for me running support you wouldn't be able to enjoy life through an entire raid or legendary onslaught with an overshield & an "EXTRA" 25% weapon damage on top of what you already have on your loadout
For me as a hunter void is pretty fucking great I prefer solar more but void is consistent as hell if you have gyfalcons other then that solar needs more ways to get restoration for hunters needing to use 3 fragments to make it consistent on hunters sucks balls
On the topic of PvP for the state of Nightstalker.
Why did Bungie have to make it 'invis' the subclass. They toned down radar manipulation and toned up invis. Making the whole class become a one trick pony that they then nurfed further.
Back when void 3.0 came out. There were complaints about invis spam, so Bungie changed how invis worked on radar. Why can't this just be unnurfed now that void hunter is underused?
Give me back my radar manipulation build with snare bombs, give us back the utility.of heart of the pack. Give us back our enhanced movement at ALL times. Enhanced radar at ALL times. Why nurf all the little things that made up the class and leave us with just invis.
Let me be a nightstalker. Not a invis crutching hunter :( there could be so much more to this subclass.
Also I don't think scatter grenade doesn't one shot on hunter, that's a titan thing.
And deadfall needs more health / to be hitscan rather than a projectile that never goes where you want . PLS and thanks.
Cannot take controvers holds off me they go so hard
I realize its’ terrible state, but why not mention Spectral Blades? After all; it is a vid about the overall state of void
I don't have a good answer for that one! 😅I actually just forgot to include it in the script if I'm being honest
No way you didnt mention peregrine greaves lmao
Aside from invis hunter, no its not. Void works and is good but outside of stasis as a whole, it gets outdone by other subclasses. Arc offers ability spam.
Solar has better support, powerful CC, strong dps supers and not to mention survivability.
And strand is just strong.
Arc and void needs some little more love.
Stasis needs a whole rework.
Void hunter is elite. The other 2 are meh
In my opinion void is on the weaker side rn
With solar and strand far above all other subclasses.
Rn imo void hunter is currently the best outta the 3
With void warlock and titan fair in the similar place
However imo i think void is the msot balanced subclass for several reasons.
Destiny 2 was not built around DR or constant health regen such as woven mail, banner of war, restoration or cure.
These effects more or less make you immortal while they are actuve.
Devour on the other hand i view as very balenced as you have to kill somthing and if you stop for any amount of time you will die.
While with banner or resto you have a 15 or 30 second timer before you need to kill anything again and while youre killing said target you are immortal.
Bungie needs to take a look at affrcts like these as they are the reason solar and strand are just plain better then
Void arc stasis.
Also they are adding frost armour to stasis which will probably just end up making arc and void even worse then the other 3 subclasses
Void is my fav archetype. Titans throwing a shield like Captain America is awesome. Void hunters bow. Awesome. Nova. Awesome.
But. Void titan and warlock. Not awesome
Saying void titan has no easy access to overshield in pve while also saying they have easy access in pvp is wild
Different Sandbox. In PvE getting an overshield that is gone in 3 seconds is practically useless. Getting an overshield in PvP is the difference between winning and losing a fight. Getting to use a slightly useful ability once a minute-ish is considered low uptime. Getting to use a fight winning ability once a minute-ish is amazing and would be considered high uptime.
Buddy said nez’s sin over Contraverse hold lmao
Unravel and volatile round fragments need a orb activation added to them they feel so niche and less powerful vs the other damage keywords solar or arc have.
I will never understand how a BLACKHOLE BOMB hits like a wet noodle
I love how you say how great void hunter is with all its exotics then complain how void titan needs exotics 😂
Hunters can just infinite devour and invis spam, shits op
