- When I watched the part of the full interview where Dana insults the media for knowing nothing, it jogged my memory of Brett's interview on UFC Unfiltered a few months ago. Brett was very complimentary about Dana as a source, and here's Dana now, pretty much forcing the guy to eat shit with a smile on his face as he indirectly tells him he doesn't know shit unless Dana tells him. Poor guy...

This is exactly why I get furious when Ariel is framed as the bad guy. Dana is a master manipulator and Ariel is one of the few people that doesn't lick his entire boot
I absolutely agree that Ariel has been painted as a bad guy by the UFC. And they've been doing that for a long time.
That being said, Ariel gets painted as the bad guy by a large portion of the fanbase for 2 reasons.
1) He words his questions very poorly a lot of the time. Instead of asking, "What did you have for breakfast today?" Ariel would ask, "You eaten yet?" It gets confusing and leads to some horrible interviews. If you want some specific examples I'll gladly share them, but they're long.
2) He made his "As a Jew" comments about Gina's nazi tweet where she talked about how the first step the nazis took was censorship. That was just a stupid thing for Ariel to say at the time. I'd personally defended him before that (because I don't care about poorly worded questions at all) but that one pissed me off too much. I see the guy as a douche now.
But hey, he does a good job asking the hard questions other people don't want to ask, and even though I won't defend him (except for about his right to ask tough questions of course), I respect the man for that.
