- Touring my Southern Weld Company mobile welding trailer. This is how the company started. I had a plan and this was what I came up with. A new 7x16 enclosed dual axle trailer. Inside I keep my equipment safe and protected. Outside is wrapped for advertisement.

I feel you on that toolbox drawer latch deal. I have three tool boxes in my rig and find my drawers flying open always when I'm going down the road. Harbor Freight specials!!!!!😒

Nice set up, I think the enclosed system is good for the equipment too. I use a GMC savanna fore my mobile welding I couldn’t do a trailer cause I’ll back into everybody lol.
Thank you. The enclosed does help keep the equipment out of the weather. That was one of the biggest reasons why I went with that.

It really is a super cool setup! I would like to see a video or two of it working on a jobsite. At the moment I can't get my arms around how functional it would be a I do alot of ranch work, long pipe fences, corrals, etc. I totally get the marketing and safety aspect though. Thanks

Love the setup! Kind of makes me want to go a different route than to rig out my service truck.
I thought about it for many years and there is things I like and things I want to change. The bestest thing is that it is a start.
I’d think it’s better than rigging up a truck so you’re not SOL when then truck is in the shop.
Nice trailer tour ! :) Can you suggest me a 110v welding machine on amazon for my rv frame when I'm on the road incase someting broke? The upper deck tubing for my fifth wheel are about 1/8 maybee 3/16 the most thicker.
What about the exhaust for the welder generator. You open all the trailer or you have another system
I open the side door, rear door, and top ventilation hatch. If the machine is running I am mainly outside.
That's awesome. A whole different approach than buying an $80k utility body truck right now. One question. My company is wanting me to study and send me for my cwi, but I'm trying to get my own business going more. What percent would you say of your calls are inspection related compared to service? I'm just trying to see if i should try and do the cwi while working and working my own side business . Thanks so much for the video

Why black paint?
I'm a CWI and I'm qualified to interpret film. So I painted the inside for a dark room.
If you are good you don't need to advertise the work and products do that for you.
