I don't care if it took all season, we finally saw a game that really made me believe that BY9 can be a franchise QB. The Texans game was nice, but this feels different. We were slumping so hard, the offensive line has been in such a tough spot, the receivers.. but he found a way to win man. He found a way to lead like a 90 yard game winning drive and made a couple of incredible throws on the drive. Something just felt.. different on that drive. It was like the guy we've been waiting to see all year finally showed up. He looked in command, he was in control, that was BRYCE YOUNG'S team around him.
Bryce has potential to be a top QB. praying Carolina hires the right coach and possibly new GM. Need offensive line fixed, add another tight end with Tremble and a speedy receiver.
the thing i find weird watching the panthers is just how often the interior oline loses in pass pro. it is kinda impressive, especially with how fast they get hand swiped over and over and over and never seem to expect it. I dont even watch the panthers except for for these videos and i notice it. hopefully they get a change in coaching or players in there for bryce
@mattgeffery8577 absolutely. I've never seen a center and both guards this bad. The left tackle ickey is bad as well. I still can't figure out how GM Scott Fittier still has a job
@Benjamin-fc9ww agree 100%. The very first move is to build a devastating offensive line in run blocking and pass. Second get another Brusier tightens to pair with Tremble. And if money allows a chance at a good speedy receiver in FA take but I believe carolina will have a opportunity in the draft at least 3 of the needs. Only issue is GM Scott Fittier sucks at picking or signs professional talent
Bryce played some pretty terrible games the last month so I think he was waiting for Bryce to win/play better before doing a film breakdown. If he would have broke down any of the last 4-5 games, it would have been an ugly comment section.
If he played better, there'd be more breakdowns. Like the other comment said...he really hasn't been doing much lately. Throughout the season (especially after firing Frank) people began to realize Bryce deserves a bit more criticism and critique than he's received. Can only blame the OL and WRs so much before people get tired of hearing it and begin to think and see objectively and it begins to sound like excuses.
Tbh I think letting Reich go was a mistake. Give the guy a chance, get some chemistry going there, and get Bryce an o line. The o line, mediocre wrs, no run game, and a bad defense were the issues. I don’t think tepper made the right choice there, and I don’t trust him to fix it honestly.
@@Kaanfight A good coach looks at the weapons he has and schemes around that. Reich seemingly came in with his scheme and tried to fit the players into it. I like the group of coaches he put together, but I think the biggest issue is when you have a head coach who brings an OC in and then doesn't let him actually do the job he is paid to do.
As a panthers fan who was there, the conditions were absolutely horrible. I’m so glad to see Bryce Young make some great plays, gives me a lotta hope for him
number 69 gabe jackson got signed on the 29th of November, a hold play like that was bound to happen, even to a vet like gabe. Very happy to see flashes of stardom and signs of growth from bryce
All I kept seeing was Jonathan Mingo getting open deep but Bryce never looks at him. They need better coaching in CAR as a competent coach would look to exploit this instead of him keep throwing short routes to dusted a Adam Thielen
Yo 2:00 mark. Can you please explain to me why 15 isn’t looking for the ball on that drag route. My thoughts are…at least if he’s looking, it gives Bryce an option to look at on 3rd and 4. And makes that linebacker respect the drag(by coming down) which potentially opens up the throwing window to number 82.
Carolinos OC is terrible. Hitch routes. Stop routes. Mediocre attention to detail by the receivers. No capability for Yak, no misdirection. Bryce has like 1 second to throw every down and nobodies open.
I'm not a Panthers fan, havent watched a single snap of them before this video. That being said, I was somewhat surprised to see them struggle this year because I feel like their offensive skill players aren't that bad, they're definitely serviceable. I'm a Packers fan, I've seen Thielen, he's a pretty good WR2. I doubt he just fell off. DJ Chark is decent as well. Then you have Miles Sanders & Chubba Hubbard, should be a solid 1/2 Punch, not a true RB1 though. Hayden Hurst as the TE isn't the worst. They can definitely do better but I thought that team was solid enough. Now, once again as a Packers fan... I'm worried to see what's going to happen on Sunday LOL.
Question for JT or anybody else who may know the answer: I've always been curious in practice if, when practicing a certain concept for the offense, the coaches will tell the defense to react in certain ways, just to give the QB certain reps. For example, with an RPO will a coach tell the read linebacker "Hey, I want you to bite on the run on the first rep so that or QB can practice reading that out and throwing the slant." Or will the defense just play everything straight up the way they are supposed to every time, even if that means the offense doesn't get to specifically practice a certain part of the concept?
Bryce definitely needs to figure out how to generate more velocity. The balls coming out of his hand, even in ideal conditions, even when he sets his feet are still really weak

I like Bryce because he’s such a humble dude and good QB no matter what anyone says. At points I just wish he was less humble and brings out that cocky side of him being that dude like he did on the sidelines at Bama
I think that’ll come out of in him in time with success and experience but so far this season has been nothing to be cocky about for anyone on the panthers 😅
Is it a coincidence that this is the first game where it seems like Bryce has worked (a little) in his footwork. And they win. Man I see you tear up some players or just bring up a slight footwork issue (BP13 aka BCB) who actually has a 5 step drop back and throws with “A!!!!” but you never really mention it with Bryce and it’s one of his main issues. He looks panicked because he’s constantly fidgeting with his feet. Just wondering because I know you love Bryce and I genuinely want to know if there is a bias there. Wouldn’t hold it against you. 😂 I watch your videos no matter what.
Kid just doesn't have enough velocity in his throwing, and has no WRs that can get separation consistently. With his awful OL, he'll be gun-shy by year 3, and a NFL backup journeyman in no time. This franchise is in a deep, deep hole. The only thing going for them, is that all of their division contenders are just as incompetent
We are literally just asking for league average O-line and receiver play at this point, and guess what…they played better this game and wouldn’t ya know, Bryce looked a lot more confident and productive 🤷♂️
So I guess you didn’t see Josh Allen before Diggs because he was as mid as it gets before year 3. Same thing with Burrow, dude didn’t even make it through his rookie year with his O line. I guess Mahomes isn’t elite this year either because he’s receivers are selling and he’s having a meh statistical year because of it
That is not true at all. No QB gets anywhere with a trash team. Let alone a rookie. And what rookie QB is elite? The reason why Brady was successful was due to his offensive line. He's one of the slowest QBs in NFL history, so his line made up for it. There has never been a rookie QB to win a superbowl, let alone start in one. Teams in the past wouldn't blitz Mahomes because of his recievers like Tyreek Hill. Currently, he's one of the worst QBs against Blitzes. On top of that, he's having a not so good year statistically. He may not even make the superbowl this season. Bryce is a rookie in the worst leadership in the league. This game was the only time this season the offense, other than Theilen, looked good. He doesn't even need elite weapons on offense. Just competent ones.
Call this QB school yet you make excuse for the kid. He isn’t that good he never steps into throws and he feet are never planted. Why you talk about the real issues.
