  • We already tried out the Mash & Boil, so we thought we'd give the Robobrew a shake while trying out the Baird's 1823 Finest Maris Otter in a side by side SMASH with their regular Maris Otter.

In Australia it's 1900 wats with 240 volts so heats even quicker. Love mine.

I had an existing 25' copper chiller. The Robobrew chiller fit nicely inside it. I run both with one hose and a splitter. Between the two and pretty cold tap water, chilling takes 12 minutes.

For the sparge did you just slowly pour the 120deg water over the grains you lifted up?

What's sorachi Ace? And, what's it called, when you pulled the inner part up to drain off the mash? what were you doing? Please explain a better what you're doing in the videos so you know when you talk about just the title of something but we don't know what it is, it's difficult. Thanks a lot. Your video is great.

I just purchased the Robobrew over the weekend, figured I'd watch a couple videos, and stumbled across what looks like my local brew shop in the process!

Great video as usual guys. Next batch of beer - vienna lager, weather - 16 degrees celsius overcast, predicted high of 27C. Not really a fan of yellow.

Great video, was on the ropes about picking up this system but I think I'm going to. Can you guys suggest a good budget conical fermenter!? I'm tired of using carboys and want a fermenter I can harvest yeast and/or drain. Great content as well. subscribed.

Hi guys on the chiller after boil and last hop addition when do you start the chilling process strait away or you you let it sit for 10 min or so before chilling ?

I do like the color yellow and my next brew will be this weekend. Going to do a SMASH with Munich, hallertau mittelfrüh, and a Kölsch yeast. Any thoughts before I dive in?

I just moved into all grain brewing and was looking at purchasing a bigger kettle, now I’m thinking I need a robobrew. Hmmm

Well done guys. what are your thoughts and comparisons between the mash & boil and the robobrew? I personally still feel like unless you don't have your own wort chiller (perk of using M&B if you have one: you can change the sizes, use own pump, cool it down faster etc) Mash and boil is better bang for your buck. you guys should put them side by side with 5 gallons of water and see which one comes to a boil first. that would be a fun test. *cheers

Did you say that the robobrew doesn't have a pump? Is there no vorlauf step?
