HJ, do you think Dr. A will allow you to record the tibia rod removal process? If he were allow you to setup a sterilized camera, that would be amazing for the LL community to witness. Or perhaps if he used a camera of his own. I hope the removal goes well and your recovery!
Thanks. It's too late to get a video of the surgery. If I were to request to do so, I would have to talk with my doctor many months earlier. Even if I discussed filming my surgery many months earlier, many challenges would make it very unlikely. Not only do I need the doctor's permission, but I will need the permission of the entire medical staff during the surgery. Then I need the hospital's approval. Then we must work out the copyright issues (who owns it) and how it can be presented.
Once the rods are removed, you need about 6 to 8 weeks to fully recover. After the 6 to 8 week mark, you should be able to walk long distances without problems.
You'll have to lengthening in both the femurs and tibias to get 13 to 14cm. 8cm on femurs (the maximum for Precice 2.2). 5cm on tibias is safer, but sone may get to 6cm safely. For more information and services on LL surgery: www.heightjourney.com/services/
Best wishes. You can join the Limb Lengthening Community Discord channel to talk about your LL journey with other LL patients and those seriously interested in it. It is in a private setting, which makes it more comfortable as well. See the description of this video for the Discord link.

Nice, do you experience any pain after walking long distances?
No pains, especially since the distal syndesmotic screws were removed. But my stamina, while improving, still needs more work.
@@HeightJourney Nice, thanks for the feedback.
Can there be any problems as a result of walking for a long time?
