    I still recall Troy and Pascal visiting the Monte Bello islands. They got some monster crays!
    This place is very high up on our list 😊
    And nice work on the coral trout! Lovely fish.

    It's strange when I know more about sailing around Australia from watching sailing channels than, you, a sailing channel, do. 😂

    🤔 When Thomas Edison was accredited with creating the Light Bulb:
    Did you know that in search of a filament for the light bulb, Thomas Edison sought and tried thousands of materials before he finally succeeded? Once, his assistant complained, “All our hard work is in vain. We have gained nothing.” Thomas Edison replied calmly, “We have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We know that there are 2,000 elements that cannot make a good light bulb.”
    😂😂😂
    So, mucking about for a safe anchorage seems like just a bit of fun... and a good education in circumnavigation.
    😂😂😂
    Couldn't resist.
    Godspeed, Happy Sails, and much love and respect from Central Texas, USA.
    ✌️❤️🚀🤠

    I spent 9 months in 1980 on the MBIs and while it is crawling with fish it is also crawling with very big sharks. Be very careful, don’t have both in the water at the same time

      They didn't know any better back then. They were still learning the effects of what they created. Now it's easy to judge because we know. Hindsight is always 100% I'm not justifying them just putting it into perspective.

    • @SlimandSophSailingNakama
      @SlimandSophSailingNakama  7 місяців тому

      We would say that the WA government would be pretty onto people fishing within this area if they found dangerous traces within the marine life in their studies. They are constantly testing radiation levels here, the biggest concern is your time spent on land. We will go more into this in our next video here at the Montebellos 😊

    • @lkn4jolly
      @lkn4jolly 7 місяців тому

      @@SlimandSophSailingNakama Ahhh the innocence of youth! NEVER trust the government 100%. They lie. Use your own judgement and common sense. Car charging stations for example, have you seen the electromgnetic radiation levels? Enough to make you sick... That slab on the nuke test bed the USA out over their test bed in the Pacific.. leaking and old, think they've been queueing up to go fix it? Nah.. Use your own brain first, human beings are covert irresponsible, lazy pinnocios with budgets to live within and they lie , ignore 'problems' etc.. this includes governments worldwide, none of them are perfect and they've all got stuff swept under the carpet. You pay attention to you, if you knw basic science and can think for yourself do so, with bells on. Cavemen who didn't look where they're going in life stepped on snakes.. It's just different 'snakes' for modern man. Governments are usually overwhelmed and paying attention to what they're paid to or not to focus on. They're humans and stuff slips through the idealistic net unfortunately. If you know Nuke waste doesn't become inert for 10k years, eating fish that don't know that who connsume their food from where a nuke test occured and you kow about it is probably quite high on the dumb list of things to do, because you have faith in the government. How often do you think they can find people willing to risk themselves to check those areas out? Do you think people would jump on a job advertisement of nuke bomb testing area assesor? Do you think the public purse wants to pay compensation or lawyer fees resutling in inspecting areas like this regularly or do you think they are hoping the general public are going to look out for themselves and darwinism will take care of the rest? Wake up guys...
