Wow,not what I expected, most of these reactors play and review, this little girl let it play, no need to talk, watching her is the real reaction,it took so long to find something new and I found it,and yes you are adorable, let it play!!!!
i hate it when they play stop to gab back it up play more. just listen and enjoy then talk
One of the greatest live albums ever.
THE best, in my view.
The greatest is
The greatest is Hawkwind--
@@frankpentangeli8104 The best is Hawkwind---Space Ritual Live.
@@stonebringer1 I like Hawkwind a lot, but I don't think they even come close to Deep Purple in terms of live performance. I love The Guess Who, Steppenwolf, Yes, The Allman Brothers, Peter Frampton, Genesis, Jethro Tull and Al Stewart on live recordings. But to me Purple just blows everyone away. Certainly Led Zeppelin never approached them live.
THE GREATEST HARD ROCK BAND !!!
FOREVER DEEP PURPLE!!!
Thank you so much.
Yes Mr Valverde
Best live album ever made
This, and Yessongs!
Ian Paice’s drumming is awesome as always
Absolutely! Endurance, chops, dynamics. And great interpretations of some progressive sections. Insane stamina.
Badass.
Greatest live album of all-time! The whole band are terrific on this song but Ian Paice's drumming is the star of it!
No kidding! He’s a monster on this one!
Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by, commenting and also giving me tons of advice. It means a lot, and I will try to improve a lot more! 🤍🤍
Elok I'm almost 60 years old, the first time I listen to space truckin I was 14, I was blown away, your reaction brings back wonderful memories and I totally agree with you, Deep Purple is my favorite band and Made in Japan is the best live record ever.
You are doing great. You know good talented musicians .
Space trucking is such an subtle song there is not one note there shoulden´t be there. You get dragged me into it and I can´t resist listening to it. They are the true masters of their instruments and of rock
Hello elok again. You are doing great. The best by far music reactor on UA-cam. Info behind the bands greatly appreciated by me and am sure everyone else. Brilliant sense of humour and beautiful. Hope you can react to one of my suggestions one day. Cheers from London josh.
Elok listen to Deep Purple's April is a beautiful and very different song and then try concerto for group and orchestra composed by Jon Lord.
Mr Lord, Hammond, Marshall stack, baroque, his love of German composers = a skill we'll never see or hear again. RIP great beautiful man
Jon Lord was indeed a superb music architect, second to none
Excellent. So glad you did this version. D.P. was definitely a live band. Best live album ever. Allman Bros. Is another great live band. I liked all Deep Purple, but these 5 guys are Deep Purple to me.
Mrs Elok Hsu. You young and lovely looking girl, you are delighted by Space Truckin' 1972 from Deep Purple, and i just love this. It proves that GREAT music has no barriers. How cool is that. Stay tuned on rock and Purple and take care.
The extended jam is an improvisation of the end section of "Mandrake Root" from Shades of Deep Purple and the guitar solo in "Fools" from Fireball
And the keyboard solo is partly from Jupiter on the classical album Holst: The Planets
This song is, hands down, the best live ever!!!!
Such a young person with fine musical taste..this is rare, tnx a lot for sharing your reaction on best rock group ever!
Aww Thankyouu 🖤🖤
Deep Purple were just better than everybody else. Period...End of story.
Oh yes but rainbow live and ufo live were awful close
@@jerrywoods4066 we can’t leave out unleashed in the East by Judas Priest or if you want blood you got it ac/dc
@@salsaucedo has those 2 close but no cigar, also purple made in Europe triumph stages grand funk live, double live gonzo and kiss alive 1
This was one of the best recordings ever. I can turn it up in my car and it literally sounds like a real concert that I attended in the 70's.
this album was so popular back then, almost everybody in my circle of friends had it and it was on every party. young people danced to it! 😁
I'm still dancing to it
And the adults used to tell us to ‘turn that shit off!”
Drummer plays his heart out !
Strange kind woman on this lp amazing battle between gillan on vocals and Blackmore on guitar, listen, blow your socks off!
Don't sleep on the studio version of this one. The live is great. I think the original recording is perfect.
Ian Paice on fire.
ian paice invented extreme drumming. he was the first extreme drummer with insane chops in rock music.
The best ever
No. Brian Davison of the Nice came before Paice and was an even better and more dynamic drummer.
I've had this album since 1973 haha im old and still rockin !!
The song "Smoke on the Water" from this album was released as a single back then. It's the best version of the song, in my opinion. 👍😊
Astonishing improvisation, totally mad, totally brilliant. The smile on your face is a picture. Great reaction!
Aww Thankyouuu 🤍🤍
Great choice Deep Purple were/still are one of the pioneers of classic rock.
Ian Gillan’s vocals is Superb also Perfect Strangers is a great song which Ian Gillan is the singer
The sound of the Leslie dying..
Every time I hear that intro with Lords Hammond and Paices symbols I get chills.
If I could get in a time machine and go back and see three bands, Deep Purple would be one, along with Yes and Led Zeppelin. Three really, really great live bands..
You should really listen to the whole album Elok.
Back then I had both of these albums, Machine Head & Made in Japan. Those were the days!
I think I still have both on cassette tape. Those really were the days!
I had Machine Head on 8 track tape. And Who Do We Think We Are on 8 track
Also burn and in rock
Bulldog, my two faves too. Paicey smashing his Ludwigs and Lordy smashing the Hammond. Bliss
If you want to see one of Paices best drum solo check out Deep Purple Live at the Bilzen Jazz Fest 1969. 25 mins jam session. Ian does a jam about 10 minutes into the jam.
Liked his Ludwig more than pearl
you must listen to "strange kind of woman" at the album!..great scatsong!..hahahaha
Very articulate analysis of one of the best bands ever! It's very cool to see a young person get into "old school" music.
Great job! Bravo! ✌
You are a precious person! Thank you for your honest and heartfelt reactions!
I was at this concert tour in Edmonton Alberta Canada, and it was definitely amazing!!!! And yes, LOUD!!!!
THE greatest ever Live Album. IMO.
Sweetheart, I'm 60 years old, well next month anyway. I feel so lucky to have been born
in 1961 and able to grow up with all this music you now are experiencing. I could share
some concert stories that probably wouldn't believe and blow you away. I Love watching
your reactions to the music I grew up with. Keep on digging cause there's lots more !!!
porque no decirlo el mejor álbum en vivo de toda la historia !!!!!!
To me , , it IS the greatest live album ever !!!
Now for a great song which often gets forgotten about especially this live version just brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!....ian paice was playing in his dad's jazz band before he started with purple...
This album also contains the best version of Smoke On The Water. Another Great reaction to a great song. I wish everyone would fallow the rules so the virus can disappear. Take care and be safe. 😀😄😃😁
First time I heard this song I fell in love with heavymetal.the whole side of the lp was this awesome song.
Hey Elok. This Was A Good Choice Ian Paice Drumming Is Amazing. You Have Found A Gold Nugget Please Do Child In Time From Made In Japan Its The Same Pictures We Will Hear Blackmores Amazing Guitarsolo And Ian Gillans Scream.Stay Safe.Btw All 7 Tracks Is Super.Best Live Album Ever Record.Bye.
One of the greatest song of all time.
Ian Paice...wow! Love that guy! Never got to see Deep Purple live, but saw Ian Paice when he played with White Snake (I think...) Anyway, they rock.
nice reaction Deep Purple the GOAT, with Zeppelin and Sabbath
I love you Elok Hsu. That
organ solo really did go
space truckin !
They have always been one of my favorite bands because they played songs differently every time. Check out the version of Space Truckin' from London's Rainbow Theatre in 1972. It's on the "Deep Purple in Concert" album. The solos are completely different, and Ritchie's is longer. His solo at the end was unusually short in the Made in Japan version. He usually got crazier. ua-cam.com/video/8ayeHbHXoBE/v-deo.html
Yup, this young lady knows good music.
I think your the first person to react to Space Truckin Made in Japan. Good pick.
Your rocking it!!! Deep Purple! I saw them do a 20 minute version of this song a few years ago. Come on, let's go! Concert! Keep it rolling!
I hope your friends share your great taste.....best to listen to studio versions first my dear, then you get context...... BUT Made in Japan is an exception... it shows the skills the old English bands had being able to improvise and create something greater than their initial musical statements.... amazing synergy. You should look out for the extended version of the live LP that has included all the tracks they left off due to constraints of vinyl back at the time. AND !!! THERE IS NO PANDEMIC.... IT IS A SCAM!!!!!
In the 70's all me and my buddies partied to were black sabbath, zeppelin, and the gods, deep purple, PERIOD.
C’mon let’s go space truckin
imazing improvisation of the all band i believe they created it simultaneously this unbelievable abilities of deep purple makes them so unique and special , no band comes to close to it
My all time favourite band. I urge you to listen to their work from the outset in 1968 to 1976 . You will notice several changes within the band members and how they dovetailed with progressions of trends and time.
Love you as always for your choice of music. Made in Japan is considered to be one of the best live records ever made. I also hold Ian Gillian as the best rock singer ever. Musically, Space trucking shows what great musicians they are. I would also recommend you to listen to DP´s Fireball or Demon´s eye.
Somewhere you hear on this album, when they're setting up the instruments, "Make everything louder than everything else".
That’s on ‘The Mule’!
Thanks for choosing this performance from whe best live album eve. Realy nice to hear someone appeciate their abilities and talent. My fav band. For somethng else mind blowing made for earphones, reate to Salisbury from Uriah heep. Kdep it up cutie
I loved this song. Haven’t heard it for years. Thanks Again Elok. 1.40pm. England.🥰🇬🇧
I'm an atheist, but I thank all available gods for this recording. There's no other band in the history of music who could pull this off. Deep Purple, often disregarded, but THE pioneer of Hard Rock and I thank you for your audacity to present us with this reaction. You're so beautiful in doing this.
Aww Thankyouuu 🤍🤍🤍
Awesome reaction 🌹. You really nailed it!! This is also one of my favorite songs. The hole album, Made in Japan, is fantastic🤘😎🤘. Take care, sunshine 🌹
Machine Head is my holy grail of albums. Bought my first copy back in 1974. Still got it today. Dig Deep Purple to the max mate. But their studio version is just that better than live. But not by much. WOW Great memories. Shoutout from Australia mate.👍🇦🇺☮️😁✌️
Keep on listening to good English music. The best ever in the world. Enjoy it while you can.
Child in Time Japan is the ultimate live track but Mandrake Root of in concert 1970 is pure carnage.
Debes ser una de las 3 o 4 youtubers que ha reaccionado a este tema en el mundo (versión Made in Japan)
Greatest live band of all time
the best live album in history that I have heard ¡¡¡
Great band and song...
Check out the band "MAMA'S PRIDE "..song "BLUE MIST"
Love you girl, it's always I enjoy your reactions and your smile. More please and don't forget to react to the best live videos of Lara Fabian, or David Phelps. Until next time. Stay well
Yes, it’s time to rock with Elok! 🤘🏻 You know how there are some songs that you wish would never end? Well, this almost doesn’t! It’s great to see someone from Generation Z who has the attention span to sit through the entire thing, and who doesn’t need to check out what’s on her smartphone halfway through. I agree that “Made in Japan” is a milestone live album. Another legendary live album is The Who’s “Live at Leeds”, which is well worth a listen. (I hope you can get some sleep tonight in spite of the racket those insects are making outside.) 👍🏻🇳🇿
I definitely second the suggestion of The Who's "Live At Leeds". That was a phenomenal album!
Song is a masterpiece
Yeah, it made me smile too.
Seeing how you tackled this long song, you might just be ready for 2112 by Rush. I think you'll love it. I would suggest the studio version, they usually cut parts out in live versions.
Interesting to see we share a birthday . I'm a little older at 72 and grew up with this music. May I suggest you look at the Purples Fireball album and I would like you to look at a couple of other bands performing at the time of Purple. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Yes are well worth exploring. All three still perform and tour today. You won't be disappointed.
Let's not forget ufo grand funk rainbow nugent acdc Chicago Kansas pink Floyd lynyrd skynyrd
The who- won't get fooled again live 1978!!
I saw them (Mark II) Live in 1974 or so and to this day they are my favorite. Japan today has so many excellent Rock/Metal Bands it is mind-blowing. So glad you Reacted to this song, Elok.
In '74 that would have been the Mark III lineup.
@@ronnienose8608 Ok, thanks for that reminder...many years ago...lol...that's why I said 1974 "or so" . It must have been 1973. Never saw the Mark III lineup. It was hard getting tickets back then let alone good ones unless you won them or knew someone who had connections. It is great to see Elok enjoying these classics.
You have absolutely right.!!
who else is here to see what she thinks of Jon Lord's solo
My fav album live
It’s a shame that there was no video or film recording of this live concert in Japan. Or maybe there was but not released. Rock in early 70s just guitar and key board no fancy other electronics instrument. Awesome!
Cosmic,so sweet your reactions.......
This was only meant to be a Japanese only release but because so many copies were being imported into England and Europe, they decided to release it world wide. 1973 in the USA.
Gillian in his prime... chills...
Fun fact for you, from around 7 minutes in your reaction most of the stuff that they are playing is improvised. Not all but much of it. And btw keep it up young lady. You are so cute it awakes father feelings in me 😌
Hello elok again. My favourite deep purple song is soldier of fortune. The best song on one of their later albums stormbringer I think it's called. My mother met David coverdale in London but I thi;k Ian gillan was the best singer. Hertford is pronounced hartfud. Cheers from josh.
The guy from Planet Zolton would have been a good co-host for this Truckin through Space. You were very patient listening attentively to the long jam, I am impressed! Good job, Elok. That’s a long song...the style back then for some bands, it became like a meditation.
I think she would like Wring That Neck At the Bilzen Jazz Fest. She could view close ups of them performing.
@@BeeLineEast yes, that was the one thing missing from this reaction but she paid really good attention, I was impressed. Yeah, “Wring that Neck” from the Bilzen Jazz Fest 1969 is great, I think you would dig it, Elok.
When it comes to other classic live albums med in the '70s is Blue Öyster Cult´s On your feet and on your knees, it was released in 1974. I recommend you listen to my favorite Then came the last days of may or Hot real to hell from that album. BÖC has done so many other great songs such as astronomy, don´t fear the reaper. But last days of may is my favorite.
Link please 🤍🤍
Hello Elok and thank you for taking interrest in check out my suggestion:
My favorite song by Blue Öyster Cult is Then Came The] Last of May. See link below
ua-cam.com/video/96A72cojiWg/v-deo.html
And another is, Hot Rail to Hell: ua-cam.com/video/aK1-gI8zO3U/v-deo.html
Both are from the classic live album, On your knees and on your feets (from 1974).
BÖC has done so many other great songs, like Astronomy, don´t fear the reaper, black blade etc.
Alright man turn up that deep purple killer jam. Deep purple "fire ball" album. . . Gotta go check it out!!!
Wow that'll make your head swim just make sure it doesn't swim too far away before you can reach it!
When I was a teenager this was playing Keyboards this was a great song to play, Good one Elok
Elok you have good taste in music .
Inolvidable Lord !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you catch that bit of Debussy that Jon Lord stuck in the middle of his keyboard solo?
You listen to live in Japan which has the 3 concerts which Made in Japan was recorded from. Also watch Live in Denmark which Filmed for Danish TV sadly in Black and White
Make in Japan is considered by millions to be the Best Live album. No studio enhancements just the way it was on the nights of the Recordings. Most young people don't know that many things were made in Japan in the late sixties and seventies. So it was common to see Made in Japan on radios, Stereos and many other things. So I believe that is why the album is called Made in Japan. The free World didn't have anything to do with China at that time. Nixon was the first President to go to China and things have changed from Japan to China.
That’s true! Anything from Japan was considered shoddy! We loved Godzilla, though!
Wow i was just taken to the alter at the abyss of rock n roll _ Could not help myself from sounding corny _ That was something else _ What synergistic talent _ thank you for the ride E.H. _ But i have one for you - Mahavishnu Orchestra: two songs - "Meeting of the Spirits" & "Noonward Race" _ i suggest them based on your reaction here _ From the album Inner Mounting Flame _ A quote from the All Music website: "Aimed with absolute precision at young rock fans, this record was wildly popular in its day, and it may have been the cause of more blown out home amplifiers than any other record this side of Deep Purple".
You have astuteness and wisdom beyond your years.
Once again an awesome choice young lady :) Keep it up :) Peace and love from Canada eh sorry :)
